I actually splurge and got me Sonia g pro eye set and omg are they amazing. My eye makeup just looks so much better!! Between you, Mel, and Michele! Thank you ladies for teaching me so much!!! 🥰❤️🥰❤️
All of Sonia G's brushes are works of art. That Flat Definer is everything I've been waiting for. Since the Sky Eye Set is meant to work well anywhere you put on makeup, I put it through its paces with the Urban Decay Born to Run palette. The Flat Definer picks up and lays down shimmers with just the right coverage in one layer-no wetting needed (with too thick a shimmer, you can see every bump). It helps me get exact placement on the inner lid, inner corner-anywhere. Any leftover pigment wipes off easily on a microfiber dusting cloth so it can be used for multiple shades. Sonia calls the Jumbo Blender her fixer brush. It's different than anything I've used before, but it fits the way I like to blend. I highly recommend reading Sonia's blog because you'll discover new ways to use her brushes (e.g. running the Soft Shader quickly across the brows). I reach for the Builder Pro and Crease Pro, as well as the Wayne Goss 16 the most. I really like the Wayne Goss Holiday 2019 brush. The Sonia G Face One is better than anything I've tried so far for Bare Minerals Original foundation. But my favorite face brush continues to be the Real Techniques Setting Brush. I use it to set my under eyes and it works beautifully with Colourpop's Super Shock Highlighters. Or any highlighter. I got the rephr 02 brush and I use it much differently than I thought I would. It took lots of experimentation-and lots of washes. It applies metallic or shimmer shadows wet better than anything, though. It also creates a wonderful stamp for the outer V and is soft enough to blend into the crease. It's interesting to read why Christine at Temptalia won't try the rephr brushes. I'd be curious to hear your thoughts. Glad to hear the Sky sets are coming back in stock. I'll grab the Sky Face Set and then hopefully be set for the year.
Okay so I literally searched your handle and the word “brushes”. I really hope I clicked the affiliate link for BL, because I ordered the Wayne 24S. I have the Anniversary 2 set, and some of this other brushes individually, but I am excited to have a larger brush to make my application quicker. Side note: I purchased my first ND palette “Love”, after watching your MANY reviews of her products. Love you and your channel your so bright and uplifting! 💕💕
OMG they are. I'm actually cruelty free and I always wondered HOW Wayne could claim that his brushes are cruelty free!?! Like, how does that work?!?! But then I researched how the brushes are made in Japan. It's just like me brushing my dog and then just using the hair that comes out for a brush. The animals are very respected and well treated. So I went on a Japanese brush rampage.🤣🤣🤣🤣 They are going to last you a lifetime and the way they apply makeup is UNMATCHED. It's true, they are magic.
Trisha Fadroski 👆🏾Everything she said. They are absolutely worth it! I tried some natural hair eye brushes for the first time a few months ago and my eye shadow has never looked as blended and seamless. Definitely a great investment.
Amy I was trying to explain this to someone, and they said “well how are they kept to brush the hair!? Free roaming!? I don’t think so! They’re in cages!” I left that one alone 🥴
@@aliciaarcher yeah, except they are born in captivity so it would actually be horrible and cruel to just set it free to starve to death or get torn apart by predators since they have no idea how to take care of themselves. But yeah, I just dont argue anymore. 🤷♀️🤷♀️
Confession, I am on a no buy for 2020 and we are 4 (!!!) days in. I bought 2 Chikuhodo Z series eye brushes this morning because my brushes (entry level Hakuhodos) are hurting my crease when blend and tugging my poor mature lids. Its OK to buy something for the sake of health and wellness, don't you agree? Great video-as always!
Hahahahaha! 100%!!!! 🤣 But on a serious note, Chikuhodo brushes are worth breaking any no buy for. Because the last and won’t go bad like makeup will 🥰
That berry lip on you is DIVINE 😍 I thank you for getting me into Sonia G brushes, specifically the face ones. Best investment I made this year. They truly have made a real difference in my base look! Wish I could buy more, but my bank account after the holidays is on tumbleweed mode, lol. Still admire your collection, faves, and dedication to the fude.
Bahahahaha! Tumbleweed is RIGHT! If anything, I would save for brushes. I have a few on my radar, and they make sense to spend money on. Will lay low, but will not forgot them 🤤
This is the year of brushes. Glad to hear your input to get me focused on some tools this year. I’m purging the brushes I have and giving them to friends.
Alicia, an incredibly well curated brush recommendation. You’re so right - brushes make a huge difference. I now have another use for my Chikuhodo GSN 02 brush - never used it as a foundation brush but will now. Your lip color is stunning. Thank you for this great list of brushes - thankfully I have many of them - got the Chikuhodo Z1 years ago and treasure it - glad it is in your list. 😘
I love my Rephr, SoniaG and WG brushes.. I hunted down rephr when I saw you use a face brush early last year and thought stop the video! What is the name on that brush?! And loooove them all. Thank you 😊 In the interest of budgeting could you please do a video on how you do your nails. Your nail shape/length and blueish/purple nail colour today is gorgeous!
So excited for this! Drooling & mesmerized. Agreeing w/ many of the brushes you've shared. Beautiful choices. Dream of the silver fox. One set I tried & so love, the Rae Morris. They are so good & hard to find info on. I keep grabbing her eye brushes & do a double take that once again, she is the one my hand wanted. Her 8.5 reminds me of Rephr's #02. One of my favs. Thanks! Will be watching again I'm sure.
Ok THAT’s it for me. Got my first so Sonia g eye brushes. Never had natural brushes before. Have had expensive ones, Kevin Aucoin, Artis, Mercier! Forget about it, these Sonia G pro eye brushes performed exactly as you said. Blown away! Bring on the Sky set!
I love it when you talk about brushes. 🤗 I finally received the Rephr brushes I bought in the Kickstarter offer. They are very similar to my Wayne Goss brushes. I just bought the starter set and I’m kicking myself that I missed the email to add the bronzer brush to the order. I currently use the Wayne Goss 11 brush for bronzer, and now I have the Rephr 05 which is very similar, but I want I bigger brush for blending and diffusing the pigment. Everyone has suggested I buy the BK Beauty bronzer brush, but I haven’t bought a synthetic brush in a long time. They do however remind me of the Hourglass brushes. The Sonia G face pro or master face brushes also interest me for bronzer. 🥰
spooky katt I have never heard of that brand before. Thank you so much for the recommendation. Interesting that they call it a foundation brush but so many people use it for bronzer application. They don’t actually have a designated bronzer brush in the range but suggest using their finishing brushes for bronzer. I have a gift voucher for Beautylish from the promotion last year so I’ll add it to my wishlist. ☺️
Hi Alicia! So excited today bc I was able to get my hands on the very last Rephr 22 Bronzer brush that they had. Ugh, my heart ! I receive it Wednesday. I CANNOT wait! I love my Sky eye set too. That Jumbo Blender is amazing for my mature, mildly hooded eyes! The mini booster and flat definer too. Not a super fan of the soft shader but I use it. I would like to get the Sky Face set and also a Chikuhodo Z series. I draw the line at fox 🦊 bc I just can’t support that. Different strokes ... Thanks for the awesome and informative video. Love your brush vids! 💕
I went to the rephr site and I could not find the bronzer brush. I ordered Scott Barnes Body Bling and I to apply it with a brush. I love you and I trust your brush reviews. You have never steered me wrong yet.
Thanks to you I am now on the natural brush bandwagon! That second brush you shared, along with Sonia G. Sky set - face & eye, that Rephr bronzer, I MUST HAVE 🥰
Exquisite and thorough presentation. I learned something new today. Thanks to you I now know that it's best to use blue squirrel for those like me who tend to be heavy-handed with blush. I totally appreciate that information.
It’s currently sold out! I’m sorry for not mentioning that in the video, as I did not know at the time of filming. They said it will be back in a couple of weeks!
Love this video and I’m so glad I got the Rephr #22 and the #24 prototype. The #22 is now my everyday bronzer brush. And Because of the Rephr #24, I’m no longer waiting for the Sonia G face one to restock because I don’t need it anymore. The Rephr #24 can do everything the face one can an then some....... I used it to blend out my foundation for the first time and it blended it to the point that it just looked like I had perfect skin. I love my Rephr brushes. I Thank you for helping me to discover them. :)
Love the lipstick color. I have been eyeing that natural hair foundation brush you have. The last one I bought was a hot mess. I'm keeping my 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽 that I get my hands on the sky set brushes. I placed an order with Rephr. Just waiting for them to come in the mail.
Hi Alicia you look gorgeous. Lipstick looks fab. I really took on board yesterday's chat about budgeting and not buying every new release. I have bought more make up than I can actually use. Eyeshadow palettes and lipsticks are my weakness. For 2020 I am going to be mindful about what I buy. Thank you xx ❤
Because of you I just received the Wayne Goss Airbrush which I treated myself to for my birthday,to use with my hourglass palette, I can’t afford to buy expensive brushes really, but I wanted that to try out that one because it seems pretty multi tasking.I’m glad you endorse using 1 brush for different applications, so I will try it , cleaning off between powders with a microfibre cloth, I’m almost dreading loving it tho! I don’t want all my other brushes to become redundant overnight 😱!!!
Good Morning Alicia 🌞! It was great getting to catch one of your live steams last night! It is wonderful to see you have such a great group of devoted viewers! I think this is testimony you already have a great channel! Thoughts for possible videos in 2020, comparison products in your collection i.e. how similar are shadows in a Tom Ford Quad to lets say a Viseart palette? Or are there dupes in more cost friendly palettes you have in your collection? Also, more collabs with other RUclips channels. I have enjoyed those. Possibly do a face off challenge, each channel gets to pick the product the other RUclipsr creates a look. This way we watch both channels and possibly create more viewers for the channels. The looks could be voted on by viewers in a post afterwards here and Instagram. It would of course be all in fun. But, the challenge wouldn’t require purchasing new products. The challenge would be use of products already existing in ones personal collections. I am looking forward to what 2020 brings on your channel! 🤗🌟💫✨👍🏼💐
I have a Wayne Brush that's blue squirrel. It's a fantastic brush and it works so beautifully for so many applications, but the thing is that you really need to be careful with them. You can't use them to set over cream products because the bristles will soak up the oils and damage the brush. You can was them but when the bristles clump together they are really hard to get apart...
Was so looking forward to this best of 2019. I love listening to your videos while riding my so boring stationary bike..really helps me stay on it. I am going to make sure I get that Sky Blue SG set this time. It was gone in under 5 minutes last time. Have a great weekend.
Hey just wanted to tell that Sonia G is like you said just the nicest person. I had responded to one of her instagrams that I missed her sky set and that it had sold out in less then five minutes. She sent back the NICEST response. Love her.
I'm in the market for some new brushes, but I can't decide if I want to do a bundle or singles. I have almond shaped eyes, so I have a feeling that a set may not be ideal. I really want natural hair. Chikuhodo and Hokuhodo tend to be my go to. I also need a synthetic foundation/powder brush that will hold up. I think I may try Koyodo for that.
I need to try the rephr brushes and that chikuhodo z series brush. All the rest of the fude brushes I have and love just as much as you do. Been a fan of Japanese brushes since 2011🥰
I must admit that you make me smile as I think the way you start your videos is the sweetest. 😁 Keep it up 👍, it's adorable. Your content is worth a ton. I'm proud to be called a subbie. Blessings, Latina 💜 💜💜 💜💜 💜💜 💜
I probably had a demo up already either in the Wayne video I did with the set, or a favs video ruclips.net/video/YEG4OHmjSmU/видео.html Fan brush demo starts around 12:10
I made my first luxury brush purchase with the Rephr BOGO and I’ll know in 10-12 weeks if I want to keep exploring. I didn’t pick up the ones you mentioned, our styles are different so I thank you so much for explaining WHY each brush is exceptional. It’s really overwhelming
Stopped whatever I was doing to click and like. Now I'm going to sit back, watch and learn. Brushes right up there with best eye palettes...YESSSSS!!! Thanks Alicia!!
@@3v3ry1 I always hit like first so I don't forget!! Sorry you joined late during the live last night. By the time I saw your hi it was practically over and I couldn't respond. Hope you got your Golden Opulence through the PMG site launch!
Hi Alicia ! Loved your video ! Yes I'm picking up all the Sonia G brushes you mentioned now for sure! Hopefully they'll soon be available individualy. She said on her IG that restock of the Eye Sky set will probably be in February! The Rephr bronzer brush is AMAZING I love it, it applies bronzer so easy. I'm always afraid to apply bronzer but with that brush I use bronzer every day. I can even do it with my eyes closed and its so soft ! I have small hooded eyes and the Rephr 13 brush OMG ! Thats a holy grail find for me in 2019. I'm going to get a couple more. It applies and blends like a dream. Sometimes I can get skipping in my crease but not with this brush. Also when I do a smokey eye its so much better than before. Highly recommend it ! But I'm looking forward to the mini booster from Sonia G. If possible can you take a photo of the Rephr 13 and mini booster next to each other? Thank you and have a lovely day !
Good morning!! I have the Sonia G Pro, Wayne Goss and Rephr. But I need just a few more like the Sky , the Rephr Bronzer and Z series. Thank Alicia. You are the best.
One of my absolute favourite looks on you! So stunning! Okay, I’m actually looking at picking up a few natural fibre brushes, thanks to you and Michelle Wang 😊. Preferably in sets (a face set & eye set) as this is my first proper foray. Could you please advice / recommend? Many thanks x
Hey lady, so I gave into my lust lol, I ordered 5 of the Wayne Goss brushes today. I'm so excited to finally be getting better brushes. Once I have them I'll declutter my other brushes. Thank you so much for your guidance on makeup application going on smoother with better performance brushes.
I am going to explore Sonya J and Wayne Goss. I got the Scort Barnes 67 and 68 and love the 68. Great work horse brush. Beautiful application. 2020 I will try more brushes.
Awesome content as usual! Great info for someone dipping their toes in more serious brushes! I confess I have the silver fox set from C- it’s divine. But I still have other favs like many you mention. Tom Ford natural hair bronzer brush really does the work for you. I’m wanting to try C’s Z 1 powder but trying to hold back :). Thank you for your great content!
Great video! So informative! How do you clean these brushes? I use olive oil and dish soap combo on my regular brushes would that work on these? Happy new year!
Finally purchased Sonia G and WG eye brushes late last year (strongly influenced by you, Alicia!) and I'm in love! I picked up a WG small cheek brush and a few more eye brushes after Christmas 🥰. Really wanting the SG Designer or Cheek brushes...I actually prefer the red handles to the blue 🤷♀️😁, so I'll save my $ and wait on those to be restocked [eek, the Designer is back 😬]. Great video!
Oh you are making me want that Rephr bronzer brush Alicia! I treated myself to the Tom Ford Glow bronzer in Terra (😍) for xmas and paired it with the Koyudo big fluffy brush which is shaped the same, and only a little smaller than the Rephr, but oooooh l feel a lemming coming on now 😄 The Koyudo one is truly beautiful so l’m trying to resist the urge and just appreciate what l already have but it’s not easy. Loved your other brush picks too, that Zoeva 110 has proven to be the perfect pairing for my fave cream blush of 2019-Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks in Chouchette.
kinkysweat l got it on Beautylish,of course, it’s the koyudo BP013, apparently it’s a foundation brush, but the first review raves about what an amazing dupe it is for the natural hair TF one and as soon as l read that l added to cart lol. Never had a chance to try the TF so can’t speak to that but l can totally appreciate the reason this kind of design is a winner because it is such an absolute JOY. Hand on heart l have never had such perfect and flawless results with bronzer before. So l followed your link to the Rephr bronzer brush but sadly l can’t find it anywhere on their site. Do you know if it was maybe just a limited run? I so hope not, l’m crushing on it hard.
Thank you so much for recommendation on brushes. I am just starting to build my collection and I really didn't know what kind of brushes I wanted to get. Blessings.
I just picked up some Wayne Goss and Rephr brushes for Christmas. Can’t wait to try them. Do you recommend washing them prior to first use? Thanks for all your knowledge!!
Judie Castro I do. The Wayne Goss brushes perform pretty well out of the box, but the rephr brushes have some sort of coating or something. I find sometimes it takes five washes for undyed goat hair brushes to start performing their best. I use the Beauty Blender Solid Pro cleanser.
I'm scared to wash mine. I know I gotta do it, but I don't want to mess them up. I bought the Sephora brand solid cleanser and it's just sitting here looking at me. I've read all about Sonia G's brush washing techniques, I just have this fear once I get them wet, they will fluff out like a Morphe brush.
Dawn Madison also buy some brush guards on amazon or beautylish. They’re perfect to use while your brushes are laying flat to dry after you wash them. If you never heard of brush guards, look up some tutorials on here. I use them on all my Japanese brushes to help maintain their shape
kinkysweat they’re really pretty and soft. I see why people say they’re a bit stronger than squirrel they seem sturdier. I like the look and the handles. Only used a few times so far as I also got some of the chikuhodo z series and rephr.
So excited for this video...more beautiful brushes are going on my wish list! I'd love a recommendation...I'm looking for a brush for pressed powder foundation. I'm using a Tarte short haired kabuki that's ok but I'm sure there's something better out there.
Great video !! I ordered 6 rephr and was able to get 6 free with their promo they have going on. I made my order in November and it takes 10-12 weeks but that’s ok. That was how I got the deal. I may try out the face brushes as the same promo is still going on. Lol. I also purchased Linda’s eye kit in December as she had a deal where you spent $75 and you got her infinity deep palette for FREE!! Umm , yes please. 😂. Waiting on that one too. I forgot how long it takes to arrive. I have the Sonia G pro eye set and love it but wanted to get some different eye brushes. Next will be the face brushes and I will be checking out the ones you mentioned today. 😊😊
Does anyone else hate scrolling all the way to the bottom for comments ?? Ha ha. I love this. I really need to try some lux brushes. Face and eyes. I just think they cost way too much (for me and what they do) I dunno. But I hear it’s worth it. Love you. Thanks for this
Uhhh! More brush videos pls! Bought the Wayn Gross holiday brush for me and my mother-in-law too ;) based just on your superb comments on it 😊 I’d like to buy a collection of cca 5-6 Japanese brushes so I’m looking to get some superb tips from you ;) Thanx
kinkysweat Yeey! Workin’ hard on those New Years resolutions I see 😉 ...so I went on the rephr. site yersterday after your video and did some damage. Bought the 15,14,18 and 01. There is a 1+1 sale going on so I had to 🤣🙈 jokes aside that is an insane price for handmade brushes 🤯🤗 ...and they ship internationally from local warehouses (no duties and tax on top) - that is so bomb 🤩
Alicia, I am obsessed with Japanese fude brushes; once you start using them, it’s hard to go back. My first Chikuhodo brush was the contour brush but recently purchased the Z1 because I got tired of stalking it. I am currently eyeing the Z8 or the GSN 2. Love your videos and Happy New Year
Oooooo that Z1 will be mine!!! I recently purchased the Z9 and it’s also stellar. I’m with you on not being able to use anything else. The experience fude brushes offer is something you need on the daily! 🤣
Now Alicia you should know better but thankfully 😅 I’m on a 2020 no buy otherwise you, me would have to meet in the parking lot gloves 🧤 on...lol. Happy though that I own a few of your faves. The berry lips 👄 and eyes 👀 are everything
I have both of Sonia g eye set (pro and sky). I think about buying the Wayne Goss eye set. What do you think about Goss brushes? Is it necessary to buy them if I have both of Sonia sets? Do you prefer Goss or Sonia brushes?
Hey Happy New Year! I just bought my first set of natural hair brushes this past December. I got the Sona G. Pro eye set and the Wayne Goss eye set and I love them both. I want to invest in some natural hair face brushes next so this vide was extremely helpful. I appreciate the hard work, stay awesome! 😊
Oh wow, your lipstick! Its destructing me from the most important brush class 😂! It’s not yet 24 hours of your live chat where we discussed budgeting. And, now 5 brushes are in my cart from different sites to complete the list of 2019’s best brushes that you listed. Don’t know what to do! 😂 I am one of the few luckiest person who grabbed both sky eye and face set. 💃
kinkysweat you are my beauty guru (mentor), how can’t l follow you! 😂 besides, you and I have same complexion and that saves me a lot of time for selecting my foundation shade. Now, I am waiting which shade will you buy Hourglass concealer, if you buy any! Glad I found you. 💕
If anyone's looking for a good dupe for the Chikuhodo Z8 cheek brush, try the RMK Cheek brush! It's also made of grey squirrel, just with a shorter and lighter handle. RMK brushes are also make by Chikuhodo, so you'll get a similar shape and experience, just in a more budget friendly option because the handle is not as luxe! (Chikuhodo makes Suqqu brushes as well)
Yup! Chikuhodo GSN 02 and Sonia's Sky Eye set. HANDS DOWN!!! I've got hooded eyes. I can thank my Lakota father for that, but they are SO hooded that I look like I have Asian monolids, even though I dont. Yup, the hood hangs down THAT FAR!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ But, I have found out how to use eye primer like those Asian eyelid tapes!!!!!! So Sonia's Sky Eye set is just perfect, I believe you know why!!!!!!!!! The face set too and ALL of the brushes I have bought this year, but for ones that have made me cry with joy (Alicia, I'm not kidding, I CRIED with joy!!🤣🤣), the aforementioned ones!!😍😍
Hahahahaha! I could only imagine! When you find the right tool and it’s like all the makeup gods and planets align! And I love the Canmake! It’s tiny but waddya going to do. I wanted to ask you because I forgot: is it 1/2 tsp for face AND neck, or just for face and another for the neck and ears? In regards to sunscreen-
@@aliciaarcher it IS small!!!🤣🤣🤣 But hey, it's only $9. I'd be pissed if it was the same price as some of my others!!! You actually need 2 mg of sunscreen per cm² of surface area, which is about 1/4 teaspoon for the AVERAGE face. Key word "average". We all have different sized faces and that 1/4 teaspoon DOES NOT include neck, shoulders, or whatever else you want to protect. I usually just slather on a nice layer on my face, neck, and hands (more body parts in summer of course!), something I know is enough. Cuz even though I am very capable of figuring out the surface area of my face.......i dont want to.🤣 I believe you should be fine deciding what is an even, ample layer!
Hi Alicia love your videos! I was looking up rephr brushes and they're having a sale right now buy one get one free, but it will take 10-12 weeks to receive. Are they worth the wait? This would be my first lux brush purchase. I mostly use morphe brushes and another set I got from Amazon. Thanks !
The Hakuhodo fan brush is smaller, and wispier. Ppl were telling me they Wayne’s brush is too big, and Hakuhodo was other fan brush models with the same squirrel and goat blend.
Unrelated but that berry lips is so pretty on you!
I was just going to say this. She looks beautiful with that color.
I agree ladies, video started and I was like OH, she looks great in that color!
Girl I'm over here staring like what?! Gorgeous tone!
angyeliz I have the Berry Me in Lipsticks as well and it is beautiful on any skin tone.
Thank you so much!!! I thought enough with the nude shades! 🥴🤣
I can listen to u talking about brushes for days
✨🙈💕 Thank you, Amanda!!!
Me too.
I totally agree with you, Amanda!! I always feel like I've learned tons of info!! KEEP UP THE WONDERFUL WORK, ALICIA!! love you!!

Definitely holding onto my money for the sky set.
Good plan!!!

@@aliciaarcher Thanks. Good to know.

Thank you so much, Anna! You’re going to love it! 😻
You look so stunning in this video. Your makeup looked lovely! This week I purchased my first Sonia G’s set
Love your lip color. Very pretty on you.
Thank you so much, Deitra!!!
Thank you so much, Ann ✨💕 And yes, I cannot wait until the day I have Z1 😻
You're awesome! Cleary you were born to teach! I love it. God bless you
Awwww thank you so much for that 🥰🥰🥰
I love my Rephr, SoniaG and WG brushes.. I hunted down rephr when I saw you use a face brush early last year and thought stop the video! What is the name on that brush?! And loooove them all. Thank you 😊
In the interest of budgeting could you please do a video on how you do your nails. Your nail shape/length and blueish/purple nail colour today is gorgeous!
Thank you so much! And what a great video idea! Will put it on the list!
I’m waiting for the Sky restock. You sold me. I have that mature hooded eye and those brushes look amazing.
It will be well worth the wait!
I’m so happy to hear that, Rhonda!!! And yes, the Sky Set will be well worth the wait!
This lip color looks sooo divine on you 😍
Thank you so much!!!
I love Sonia for face and Wayne for eyes. I have a couple of Rephyr as well which are pretty good.
The whole squad brings it, for sure!
Thank you. You are so informative. Its actually very therapeutic listening to you. Love your channel .
Would love a vid on how you clean your brushes! 💜
Your eye brush videos are super helpful! Ty!!
Thank you for watching!
Thank you, Tiffanie! I messaged the Rephr team to ask!
Your makeup looks so bomb here. Can you do an updated best brushes video please❤
Just the video I was looking for! I'm in the market for some good quality brushes. Can't wait for the Sonia G Sky Eye and Face Sets to get restocked!
Yes! Save for those because it will be worth it!
Thank you so much for that! I really appreciate your feedback, and do let me know if you pick a squirrel brush up!
Great video! The Z-1 and Z-8 will be mine this year. Gotta have them. That lip on you is stunning. Really your entire look is gorgeous
Thank you so much, Brenda! I’m with you on the Z-1 😻😻😻
As soon as those Sonia G sky eye brushes come back in stock, I am buying them. I also have the Fenty concealer brush. Love it!
Yes! It’s a great little brush! And Sonia’s Sky Set will be well worth the wait!
Wooot woooot!!!!!!!!!! OMG you and Emily Noel have favorite videos out this morning!!!!! My favorites have favorites!!!! Lol
Awww shucks! Thank you so much for that!!
Hello, Alicia! Thank you for your awesome videos! Could you specify this rephr big bronzing brush number, can't find it on their web site (
It’s currently sold out! I’m sorry for not mentioning that in the video, as I did not know at the time of filming. They said it will be back in a couple of weeks!
@@aliciaarcher OH, thank you! It is p22?
Ooooo yes! Sonia said February! The only time we will ever look forward to that month 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you, Natasha! We got this!
Hahahaha! They won’t! But sometimes it’s nice to know that if you can only use one brush, that you can make it happen!
Weeeee! Thank you for all these suggestions, Deborah!!! 😻😻
Hi Alesia, loved this video. I've gotten so many good brushes from watching you. Looking forward to 2020 with you.
I heard great things about Koyudo. Might have to check them out myself!
Ordered the Hakuhodo fan brush!! ❤️
Splurged on Sonia G recently, first time brush pricey purchase....haven't gotten to use them yet....the eye set
Let’s get to it!
Love this berry color on you !😍
I need to try the rephr brushes and that chikuhodo z series brush. All the rest of the fude brushes I have and love just as much as you do. Been a fan of Japanese brushes since 2011🥰
I’m late to the train, but happy to take a seat! 🤓 So happy I have them in my life!
I must admit that you make me smile as I think the way you start your videos is the sweetest. 😁 Keep it up 👍, it's adorable. Your content is worth a ton. I'm proud to be called a subbie. Blessings, Latina 💜 💜💜 💜💜 💜💜 💜
Thank you so much, friend ✨🤗💕
great video, I do wish you had added how you use the fan brush for foundation like you did with the Chukuhodo one.
I probably had a demo up already either in the Wayne video I did with the set, or a favs video

Fan brush demo starts around 12:10
Your lip colour looks stunning! 😮
It’s a lot, absolutely!
Stopped whatever I was doing to click and like. Now I'm going to sit back, watch and learn. Brushes right up there with best eye palettes...YESSSSS!!! Thanks Alicia!!
Hahahahaha! Thank you, Pam! 🤣✨
Pam Y Hi Pam! me too - click like, then watch 😂
@@3v3ry1 I always hit like first so I don't forget!! Sorry you joined late during the live last night. By the time I saw your hi it was practically over and I couldn't respond. Hope you got your Golden Opulence through the PMG site launch!
Pam! She is hooked!!! 🤣💕
@@aliciaarcher Hooked on your content and PMG for sure!! 😂💯
Great idea! If anything I’ll post a pick of those two brushes on the community board!
@@aliciaarcher thank you so much ! Very nice of you. Really appriciate it :)
The lipstick color looks great on you!
Thank you so much!!!
Good morning!! I have the Sonia G Pro, Wayne Goss and Rephr. But I need just a few more like the Sky , the Rephr Bronzer and Z series. Thank Alicia. You are the best.
Thank you, Ana!! And thank you so much for watching!
Hi Friend!! I’m still waiting for Sonia G brushes!! Holding my money for those ones. 🌸🌸🌸
It will be worth it!!!
IBIMINA JUMBO Sonia G Sky Eye Set FTW.
Definitely either Sonia’s Face Pro or Eye pro sets! I love Wayne’s #16 for blending, or Hakuhodo’s J5522
GretchenVaughn thank you for your recommendation x
kinkysweat thank you so very much! I’ve actually been on waiting list for Sonia’s Face Pro. I’ll get the eye set now as it’s available on Beautylish.
Yes yes yes !! Taking notes 📝 your video are so fantastic!!! The details phenomenal I love ❤️ your videos.
Thank you, Karrina!!! 🥰🤗
Alicia, you are so good at explaining things! Thank you!
Thank you so much for that, Megan!!!
alicia! your skin looks so creamy smooth in this video 🤩 and i love this simple makeup look with that pop of color on the lip. 👊
Thank you, friend!!! 🙌🏽
Wasn't sure about getting the sonia g sky set...now I'm gonna get it because of you. 😉
I am so sorry I did not order it when it launched, now it will come back at the earliest in February.
Thank you so much, Jessica!!! Let me know when you receive them. I’m so excited 🤩
I sure will lady, I'm so excited!
I am going to explore Sonya J and Wayne Goss. I got the Scort Barnes 67 and 68 and love the 68. Great work horse brush. Beautiful application. 2020 I will try more brushes.
I think you will love Sonia G and Wayne brushes!
Watching as I get dressed for the gym. Morning!!
Whoop whoop! How did it go!?
Ya girl is hurtin haha took a CrossFit like class. Almost vomited but I went back in and finished it until the end.
And the Wayne Goss 04 small crease brush is a very similar brush to the SG Booster. I have small, hooded, late 30s eyes and it's so helpful!
Oooooo you’re going to love Designer Pro 😻
Alica I didn’t understand about the brush that not natural hair. Which one was that. Like the one you would you for cream shadows. Sorry. Thanks Ern 💛
Linda Hallberg’s brush 304: link and info are in description box!
Love all your videos! Will you be reviewing the beautylish new lunar year brush?
Yes! Beautylish was so kind to send me one in PR: hopefully I should receive it shortly!
Oh yes! The Zoeva 110 is sublime for cream blush 😍 And I have to check out the Koyudo brush!
kinkysweat l got it on Beautylish,of course, it’s the koyudo BP013, apparently it’s a foundation brush, but the first review raves about what an amazing dupe it is for the natural hair TF one and as soon as l read that l added to cart lol.
Love your videos! When are those Sonia G brushes coming? Thanks friend!
Sonia said the restock would be in February!
Sonia g!! ❤️ saving money for that sky set!!!🤗
And it will be well worth it!!!
Thank you so much for recommendation on brushes. I am just starting to build my collection and I really didn't know what kind of brushes I wanted to get. Blessings.
Thank you for watching, Faith! Happy to know this video helped!
Yes! As Gretchen suggested- I also like to get them to their full fluff potential! And it also washes out any loose hairs!
Thank you both so so much! Off to wash I go 😉
I'm scared to wash mine.
Thank you. I just love seeing brush reviews. I have the silve fox set... I got it from CDJapan... :D
Oooooooo I’m so jealous!!! How are they!? 😍
kinkysweat they’re really pretty and soft.
Sonia’s Face One, the Chikuhodo GSN 02, Master Face when it’s back in stock. And Wayne Goss 11
@@aliciaarcher Thank you so much for the quick reply!!
See, this is why we're the perfect couple. I search, you upload.
(I watch you almost every day but I just searched "best brushes 2019". Oh hello.)
Hahahaha! Hooray!!! ✨🥰✨
Love you. Thanks for this
Thank you, Louise!!!
Uhhh! More brush videos pls! Bought the Wayn Gross holiday brush for me and my mother-in-law too ;) based just on your superb comments on it 😊 I’d like to buy a collection of cca 5-6 Japanese brushes so I’m looking to get some superb tips from you ;) Thanx
Thank YOU! Will definitely do more brush videos ✨
kinkysweat Yeey!
Katarina Szabómihályová Hahahaha! WHEWPS!!! 🥴💸
Which. Number is the rephr bronzer brush?
Brush number 22
Alicia, I am obsessed with Japanese fude brushes; once you start using them, it’s hard to go back. My first Chikuhodo brush was the contour brush but recently purchased the Z1 because I got tired of stalking it. I am currently eyeing the Z8 or the GSN 2. Love your videos and Happy New Year
Oooooo that Z1 will be mine!!! I recently purchased the Z9 and it’s also stellar. I’m with you on not being able to use anything else. The experience fude brushes offer is something you need on the daily! 🤣
Your makeup looks beautiful in this video.
Now Alicia you should know better but thankfully 😅 I’m on a 2020 no buy otherwise you, me would have to meet in the parking lot gloves 🧤 on...lol. Happy though that I own a few of your faves. The berry lips 👄 and eyes 👀 are everything
Hahahahaha! I definitely should know better! And I still need to do that Scott Barnes palette review 🤓
Great video. I can't find that Rephr bronzer brush anywhere. Not even on their site. Help!
It’s sold out! I’m sorry that I did not provide that updated. It should be available in a few weeks!
What natural hair brushes are you going to get ?? Because I'm searching and confused
I just hope I don't get yet another, Wayne Goss brush in my beautylish bag. Sonia G, now we're talking....😉
What did you end up getting?
@@aliciaarcher I'm in the UK - haven't received mine yet but will update when I know 😉
Oh wow, your lipstick! 💃
Hahahahaha! Then you’re good! Once you have those sets, you really don’t need anything else. Don’t listen to me!!! 🤣🤣🤣
kinkysweat you are my beauty guru (mentor), how can’t l follow you!
(Chikuhodo makes Suqqu brushes as well)
Thank you for the recommendation!!!
That lip is stunning!!
Thank you, Crystal! ✨
Thanks !
The Gsn- 02 can be used with liquid foundation?? Amazing!
Yes it can! That or powder foundation-
@@aliciaarcher I was so surprised as it is dyed goat hair, correct?
4:50 am here in Seattle WA Goodmorning
Good morning to you!!!
YESSSSSSSS I LOVE YOUR BRUSH VIDEOS❤️❤️❤️ How does the Hakuhodo fan brush from the holiday set compare to the Wayne Goss Holiday 2018 brush?
The Hakuhodo fan brush is smaller, and wispier. Ppl were telling me they Wayne’s brush is too big, and Hakuhodo was other fan brush models with the same squirrel and goat blend.
