Hi mate,
Trying to join AKG earphones with a pair of cheap earphones i have. Just can't seem to get it to work correctly. Either the voice sounds cloudy or it makes a breaking noise when mic is being used. Any help?

Hi Rich, I have a pair of Bose soundtrue earphones and I somehow snapped the wire. What I found inside was 5-6 fibre like wires with no copper or metal. Do you have a solution to fix these? Thanks in advance

before I screw the case on to the Jack I tie a knot at the end of the stripped wires to prevent the wires slipping from the screws if I pull the earphones

I'm just wondering where I can buy this gold plated connecter that you often use to repair broken headphones.
(goldseries 1/8 stereo plug 24k gold plated connector)
I manage to find some similar, but they dont have any screws? Are the screws included with the actual plug?
