This video deserves an insane more amount of views than it currently has. Nas is literally handing over the key to success on a platter, and yet the RUclips algorithm has not shown this video to more people. Not only is the video inspiring, but it also provides incredibly insightful information on branding, value props, priorities, personal identity, etc. Hands down one of the most valuable interviews I've seen to date. The fact that it doesn't have more views further emphasizes that RUclips has reached supply and demand equilibrium.
“If you want to monetize, you want to create content that’s not a commodity. Your looks is a commodity. There are 50Million highly attractive individuals in the world. If you are one of them, that happens to do Tiktok, you are easily replaceable. Find a format of content that is hard to commoditize. Damn this felt like you guys had this gem in your sleeves for a while. Such a great powerful convo wow. Also the quote he mentioned about the best strategy is where there’s not an equilibrium in content yet. It triggered the strategist in me I love it.
Nas' passion is palpable. It's clear that throughout the entire journey, he remained in control and I believe that's because he knew exactly what he wanted to achieve. Kudos to him. It's pretty apparent how he got into Harvard by this video alone.
Wow, I was very impressed with this video; for starters, I had no idea who Nas was, dang he is killing the game. Second, there are so many golden nuggets in this conversation; I gotta rewatch and take notes. As someone around the creator economy but primarily working in Hollywood, I've dabbled in youtube but never took it seriously until now. I'm seeing the massive shift in media and entertainment and don't want to be left behind. Third, I have been fighting for diversity in Hollywood for over seven years and what Nas said about Arabs only needed in media when there is a terrorist attack is so true. What about all the significant contributions made by people in the Arab community? Luckily these platforms like youtube or Facebook don't have gatekeepers, and anyone can upload, which has changed the game. Now we can see stories from all sorts of people; Hollywood needs to catch up. Colin and Samir, I love your channel! @Nasdaily you rock my friend.
Amazing as always! The centralized/de-centralized part made me think: The creators and content in social media are decentralized, but the platforms themselves are more centralized as ever. I mean, it’s a handful of algorithms that guide millions of eyeballs, Facebook/Google/YT have most of the traffic from users, etc

Great video guys! Just wanted to drop an idea here. Maybe instead of targeting creators (B2C) on this channel you start targeting VPs and Directors (B2B) and explain to them why they should participate in the Creator Economy. You can give them insight to all these creators you know and help them understand how it will effect their bottom lines as a company. Just some thoughts! Hope all is well with you both.
