Did you know that if you throw Little Buddy near the Captain, Callie, Marie, or Cuttlefish, you actually see that he always Stares at the Captain for some reason and also Little Buddy's dorsal fin has a sound effect, just pointing that out.
Looks like captain plays a lot of salmon run.

I've also just noticed that if you look right underneath Cuttlefish, you'll find some squid phones that Callie and Marie used to talk to Cuttlefish throughout the campaign.
If you look at Card #40 (Heavy Splatling) in Tableturf Battle you'll notice that the pose the octoling is in comes from Splatoon 1's Splatling Victory Animation.
Most tableturf cards are based off of Splatoon 1 art! Its super apparent If you compare the art for the Splattershot Jr.

6:59 that’s actually the “Brain Strainer”. It’s supposedly the devise Mr.Grizz used to “unalive” Cuttlefish. My friend already got it playing salmon run recently. Pretty neat.

before the splatfest is revealed (in game) it is day, then after it's revealed it's evening and finally, during the splatfest it is night(nothing new). It's a nice bit of cohesion that didn't exist in S1 and S2.
Plus the things that deep cut rides on are also there
I’m pretty sure that a cool fact is that during a salmon run when the round ends and the golden eggs break,the little fish inside pops out into the air and you can see it before it disappears. You may want to check this though 😅and get some footage

Hey Nin10doland, I’ve started watching these Splatoon 3 funny moments very recently, and so far I am enjoying it SO much.❤ I know the chances you will see this comment are pretty small, but I would like to share a little Easter egg that I found in the game.
You know after you beat hero mode and go to play Salmon Run, the Mr. Grizz statue is replaced by a Mr. Grizz getting eaten by little buddy? So actually, the original Mr. Grizz statue is now in Alterna. If you go to the area where the Squid Susters are (after you beat the game), you will actually find the ORIGINAL Mr. Grizz statue behind the pile of boxes and stuff. Like the zap fish that is on the pile of boxes, if you press A you can go back to the final fight against Mr. Grizz. I personally thought it was a very nice detail. If you have the time, I would LOVE to see you showcase this Easter egg in on Eid your videos❤

IDK if it was shown already, but the Explosher normal shot can destroy the Flyfish easily, meaning you don't need to use bombs
Also, I clipped a moment where a Fish Stick came right in time to kick a bomb out of a Flyfish, I was shocked because of that perfect timing and Salmon Teamwork (I sent it on Twitter)
When activating the Reef Slider the track guidelines on the sides look like lane dividers in a pool.
Hey, if you throw a curling bomb and don’t move (AT ALL) your character will do a little animation of them staying in place in a weird pose I can’t describe then when the bomb explodes they will do another animation that is them kinda punching the air and nodding.(and I also just want to point out that the start of the “fins in the air” song that plays in splat fest battles sounds like the nyan cat theme, just want to put that out there)

Another cool fact is that if you look at the new splatfest shirts they have the color of the type that beats then around the writing on the front.
I noticed someone say that the brain strainer was probably what was used on Captain Cuttlefish by Mr grizz as it's made by him too

Here’s a secret that I found out of curiosity:
For the Pokémon Splatfest, the team choices shows gens 1-8 of the starter Pokémon in their final evolutions, except for gen 9, which are still in their 1st stage of evolution, and are shown on the back of the Splatfest tees (probably to prevent spoilers for Pokémon Scarlet/Violet, and keep far less people getting angry at a weed cat standing on its two legs). Also on the back of the Splatfest tees, the ink splatters shown on the gen 9 starters are corresponded to which type beats which (ex: the green ink splatters shows that grass types beats water types, and the blue ink splatters shows that water types beats fire types). You can also see this in photo mode at the Splatfest teams stand.
I’m not too sure if this was the case for the rock, paper, scissors Splatfest tees, but I just wanna point out this detail that I noticed out of curiosity, and messing around photo mode.

There is something called a shell drone in story mode, and you can only access it after beating all the levels. If you give it 999 power eggs it will drop off something random from Alterna in the lobby terminal
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this. But, in Salmon Run at the very start of the 10 second countdown you can actually look at the water level to know if it's gonna be normal, high, or low tide.
This is the earliest indication for this kind of information, before the basket spawns and before the water moves. It can give you those precious seconds to either get down to low tide and start inking or not get swept up by the rising high tide and have to respawn.

The Zipcaster into the abyss also works with the Inkjet

In Fry's boss fight after you defeat her for the third time in the cuts scene you can see her body floating in the respawn point
Yes you get the final armor upgrade and immediately go into a level and leave it your ink tank will still be the bottle
The upgraded gear will only be there if your using the hero gear. Anything else will always just be the default style.
I just noticed that the symbols used for each type in the spatfest are the same as the ones used in Scarlet and Violet!

I have something funny that happened to me. I don't have footage, but today I was in a fight and both me and my opponent used Reefslider at the same time, and we kinda crossed by each other. And despite being so caught off guard, I still got the kill, so that's cool.

The little room where you can play multiplayer in the lobby is a giant kettle, because of the handle in the back
Has anyone noticed that when you're in Zipcaster form your character is basically naked? you know there isn't any clothes underneath the ink because as the duration is running out you lose bits of ink that reveals only skin.
Other Inklings/Octolings: "That form's a little revealing, isn't it?"
Zipcasters: "Well, it allows for maximum mobility, it feels like I'm wearing *nothing at all!* "

A lot of people already know this, it was a trick in Splatoon 2 with the ink-jet basically, any spexial that has re-call will always break on water/void and re-call you back to were you were last standing
Though fire an enjoyable type, water is still the only choice for me
If you go to the crater, go back to the start and cuttlefish says "Hm? What are you doing here again? You lose your wallet or something?"
Did you know, that if you collect no eggs in salmon run, you get secret dialouge from Mr. Grizz when you inevitably fail.

Fun fact: If you look at the glass in the plaza part near Coco's shop, you can see a train in there. Nothing super special, just a cool detail.
In salmon run, if you use your ink, the life guard floatie on your back will lose its ink. When you stop shooting from your weapon and stop using your ink, the life guard floatie gains the ink in it again
If you look to the right of your Inkling/Octoling you'll see Black and White Cephalopod Keychains in Hotlanis at the General Store and at the Beginning of a Salmon Run Match which are from Crossing Splatoon a merch line at Nintendo Tokyo.

I don't know if anybody mentioned this, but I think it's possible to predict the next splatfest. If you go the lobby and go to the terminal, and click 'change splatfest region' it pops up 'can't change splatfest region until' and shows a date. The date is in January.

I’m hoping an update/DLC adds prestige reskins of weapons like in Sploon2
but instead of how it works in Sploon2(necessitating obnoxious level design), it’s just completing every level of story mode that features the relevant weapon, sub, and special(if more than just the main weapon is applicable) and getting the particular weapon to 5-star freshness on multiplayer.
Sure, more difficulty and/or grinding involved per individual weapon you want the prestige version of, but less clunky level design like in Sploon2 story mode.
