If you go to the lobby area and the cylinder where you can choose game modes there is a kettle under the see through glass confirming how inklings and octololings travel to maps

Oh yeah: The Inkling and Octoling Zipcaster models are different. We saw what the Inkling one looked like in this video, but the Octoling one has a sort-of scarf made out of tentacles which reminds me on Greninja

The drone also gets you the items you get in story mode, if your lucky you can get an extra moai! I hope to get one soon…

This is a very simple secret and probably everyone knows it, but on Splat You on the Flip Side, if you go on the top of the statue, you get some power eggs
I can’t believe how many episodes you have made so far. I got something a bit interesting. When you are outside of the rocket phases you can hear a very very creepy version of happy little workers. It gets more creepy overtime the more rocket phases you beat. It is really hyping up Mr Grizz’s reveal in a very ominous way. I hope you will consider this in episode 9

So I was exploring the area in Alterna and then Smallfry(my companion) started singing Happy Little Workers. It was the cutest thing!
It's either Callie or Marie who says it but in the Ink Caster level they call you a "Ink slinging hero." So, yeah. It's absolutely a Spiderman reference. Also! In one of the unusable shops there's dolls / figures of Callie and Marie ( for sale? ) on display.
I gotta add to my last suggestion about the faint music that plays in the stores you can’t enter: it’s only the ones on the Main Street. Places like the little supermarket in the back alley don’t do this.
It’s also a lot less obvious than the music for the clothing shops, alterna/crater, grizzco, etc. you basically have to have your character directly on the door of for example the cellphone shop that’s next door to Hotlantis. There’s also a shogi bar of some kind, a second phone store, a takeout, and a sundries store that have their own music.
fun fact: if you roll with the dualie squelchers and you stay in place after the roll. it will attach the 2 guns on each other and it becomes the splatoon 1 dual squelcers.

@@Nin10doland I think I noticed this when I was trying theme out at Sheldon’s store, but I’ve never played the previous games, so didn’t know that.
If you stand just outside ammo knights, you can see what appears to be an orange compact stringer
I actually fell into water in Salmon Run, but got caught on a splotch of ink. Sense I thought I was dead, I stopped moving, but then that caused me to be in the water without dying somehow.
You can actually left wield your Splattana Stamper if you do a short swing right before a charge
I was doing the first one while progressing, the map was like a puzzle to put together which I liked!

I still find it funny that you can spam the bomb button in the practice room and the copy machine spams the even if you run out of ink
8:15 Another thing about the stairs in the lobby: each number goes up by 1, but the splatoon version of what I can assume is 13 is visible on both stair 13… and 14. Idk how that passed to the final game lol

10:33 sleath swimming got nerfed and it does prevent the squid from making noise. Like it did in Splatoon 2.
Inside the locker room, in the back corner where the table is, there’s a small ketchup bottle that looks incredibly like Heinz ketchup. The bottle shape and the label design is exact.

Actually, the zip caster special is designed around a character from the one piece manga, because is says "stretch your arm" not something like "use your web shooters"... even though i do love spider man!
Did you notice that the Bamboozler tableturf card looks maybe like a young captain cuttlefish with the captain hat and his favorite weapon?
I don't know if this was already said but small fry in the story mode will always go towards the captin (agent 3) if you throw him somewhere close to the squid sisters.
Mahi mahi resort actually has the inkling/octoling customization music playing in the background, and you can actually see a band of jellyfish playing it!
While 999 power eggs does seem like a lot, I find attacking big man twice will help. The mission for me take around minute (and load times ) but it gives 800 eggs. Mostly each day, I collect my item, go send the drone, and attack big man twice.
one cool fact is a lot of people have been confused by the inklings getting splatted in water but being fine in alterna's snow, this is because when you enter site 3 callie mentions it fake snow
I thought it was that Inklings and Octolings just couldn’t swim so that’s why they die when they fall into water

Even if it was real, they can touch and consume water. They can't submerge in it however.
Zip, Splat, and Jump is a Spiderman reference altogether. Marie and Callie are constantly referencing crime and Spiderman. Not to mention Dr. Octopus.

I have no video reference but, one time during a salmon run mother ship round, I saw some golden eggs in the WATER out of reach from the player, but a snatcher even went to go get them and i was laughing so much on call with my friend. Hope this gets in episode 9

In Shiver’s boss fight, you don’t have to wait for Master Mega to wear himself out in his Ink Spray attack from the tornados. You can toss an item in his mouth anytime its open, even if its actively shooting the ink. This can lead to crazy time saves if you wanna try speedrunning.
In My Opinion This Is Hands Down The Best Series On Your Channel *Ever*
Mr. Grizz's statue at the salmon run's mode changes after you've beaten the game, the bear is no longer eating the salmon: the salmon is eating the bear
This is definitely my fav series on the channel!
If an egg is flying through the air in salmon run when the timer hits zero the game actually waits to see if you make the throw, even if the quota more than one away or it's filled

I've notice if you throw a splatbomb at one of the balloon squid target things in the lobby area and turn around the bomb won't kill them.
Also with the trainer dummy once it's turned on if you press the R button and look away for some reason it won't throw the bombs.
The only way to this to work if you are not looking at them directly. I thought it was weird

Fun fact: EACH small shop, (those you can't access) plays music of their own. And BETTER FACT is that they're all custom made, and the closed shops don't have music.
If you toss a splatbomb i between Marie and agent 3 from behind, if you did it right Marie will take out her brella and push the splat bomb away from them so that they don’t get covered in ink
Also, the “surveying” gets you wallpapers on the Nintendo switch online app
In splatoon 2 salmon run, there is a little paino song that plays before you start the shift. That same melody can be heard in Mr. Grizz final boss theme

the shel-drone is the thing that brought you the weapons in splatoon 2’s hero mode
Someting to try is to stand on top of the fishstick's pole and than have a maws try and attack you
It just swims up the pole.
The maws launching you isn’t exclusive to the crab tank, you just have to get hit in a certain way
If you put a sprinkler inside a training dummy and run away from it for a little bit it will disappear!

I’m pretty sure that all of the dialogue in the first zipcaster level is refrencing Spiderman. It’s his various titles like “Amazing”, “Spectacular” so on and so forth
The stringer secret in Ammo Knight is a referance to the grizzco stringer during an event, good eye Nin10doland
Just thought I should mention that the flipper-flopper trick shown in this video was patched a while after the video was posted.
If Nintendo does end up making a 4th and final Splatoon game, they should the final one an open world exploration game, kinda like Sonic Frontiers, but with a Splatoon paint job, where you get to do some puzzles, unlock different parts of the map with different challenges, fight random world bosses that can spawn randomly on the map and it’s all one map as well, that would be cool, as well as the whole point of exploring a city, which could be where you start the game at and then you get to go into the full open world portion of the game, that would be cool IMO

When you first find an octohopper Agent 1 says

Now look how an octohopper looks at the part where it can slosh you with ink…
in the lobby area you can go into the place for muti player, walk in there with a charge of any of the chargers, splatlings, or stringers and walk in and you won't enter the screen thing

If you turn on the copy machine and throw a splat bomb to the edge of your screen, the copy machine will defeat you and the splat bomb ink will turn red
i would LOVE a heavy stringer!
if you look up when you are near the sheldon's drone area, there is actually a glitch-like hole that is purple and kinda vibrates in alterna.

Pretty sure throwing an egg then jumping gives more distance then jumping then throwing an egg in Salmon run.

first thing is actually slightly wrong. just painting the area doesn't get rid of the greyed out parts. You need to physically be in those spots.

It affects all of them it's just more subtle with Shiver since the color is only slightly different from the normal one.

Honestly, I don’t think the zip caster is a spider man reference, not a lot of it at least. I think the devs noticed it looked like spider man, and thought it would be interesting to reference the character. It’s still a pretty cool reference at that,
did you know that you can Bounouses dash into the locker section, for best results use dark tetras. This will not work for rolling backwards only forwards. I've only managed to get myself to roll backwards once and that was lag. you can do this with any type of dualie and you can also do it on the stairs. this might also work in salmon run to get Bounouses or to talk to Mr. Grizz

If you throw your little buddy and he detected a spot hill give you a ❗️ and will walk to the spot and start glowing so you have a detector wich can help you find them 10x faster

ninja squid is best on most sloshers, rollers, shooters, brushs, and more, but not on spatlings, chargers and stringers but nautilus, and goo tuber
