Hi, please don’t take this the wrong way but I feel like sometimes when people post LA vlogs like this it’s gives outsiders a real skewed perception of life in LA. I know you have the means to live the “green juice and hot yoga” lifestyle so it makes sense for you but this is not the reality of most people here in LA if you just explore out the typical neighbourhoods like venice and beverly hills...just something to note because you have a lot of people that look up to you and maybe you inspire them to move to LA but it’s important to note that it’s really no where near this kind of glitz and glam if you are not making minimum $80K a year (to be ok at best), this is a TOUGH city to make it in. All the best for you guys though :) 💕
Amen Sista. I don't know what kind of skewed vision everyone has of LA and this doesn't help. Well...I do from ridiculous movies and Netflix shows like Season Two of 'You' (hands up if you know what I'm talking about). Just anyone out there who is not living this IG/Influencer Life, know that life is not all about matcha and green juice and everyone is sitting around eating kale and doing hot yoga in the streets. It's a regular city with too many wannabes and regular normal folks just trying to get along. I've lived here my entire life and people that are from here are getting harder to find. Joanna Spicer or Rachel Talbott - those are LA girls (transplant and native in that order) that are how it is. Not a Vitamix, avo toast, Sonia nor gym sesh in sight. Everything else is what makes LA such a cliche - this my home - not a movie set.
I agree. It’s cities within a city. I love the Hispanic culture and the little neighbourhoods. Way too overlooked. It’s a great city
100%! Enjoy Annie’s reminder for self care and calm vibes but as someone who lives in LA the past 15 years it is NOT like the movie La La Land. There is a huge homeless population, cost of living is insanely high, and people hustle- as a nurse I know. It is not all $15 avocado toast and $8 Rose lattes 🙏
Lol you said it right! It’s a city of actors. People out there trynna be what they’re not but failing to see what the media portrays about LA is just an illusion. You gotta work extra hard to live that type glamorous life everyone hopes for

At the end of the day, I feel like many strive to feel caught up with what society makes it out to be. You don’t “fit in” if you’re not walking around with a Chanel purse or a Starbucks cup in your hand. Everyone is trying to fit in somewhere and if they have to go broke to walk around with a chanel purse, people will do it. Pretty sad

Hi Annie! What are your thoughts on fast fashion vs. more sustainable fashion? would love to know! :)
Well, its actually the thing im always thinking when I see Annies videos. She inspires me to live healthier and do more work out but when i see all the zara´s and mango´s craps fashion clothes she wears, buys and still recommends, its pretty tough for me to be here. Fast fashion has the main part of climate change and of course i understand it. Organic and all green food and chanel bags, dior boots as well are so pricey that buying cheap fast fashion from Zara and Mango is needness. I support only slow fashion and local designers who are eco and sustainable and one tee shirt costs about 60 Euros, meantime in Zara or Mango, it cots 10 euros. Thats my point of view of it now. Maybe im wrong, but honestly i dont understand, why people who loves healthy food and want to live like this, support brands, who actually destroys our planet.
Honestly, genuine question and no shade what so ever because I see that you mentioned people who love to eat healthy live like this but what do you suggest for people that cannot afford such expensive items? We do not want to destroy the planet so we support by being organic, etc but buying one tee shirt for $60 seems outrageous...
But of course, if you can afford it and are helping the planet, we appreciate you!!!
@@MsSuperTrueI agree! I'm trying to make better choices with my shopping habits, but it's difficult when the cost is so high. The idea of sustainable fashion is becoming more and more mainstream, though, so I imagine it won't be too long before it becomes a more affordable and accessible option (in the same way that eating sustainable and healthier food options has). Thrifting is what I find the most affordable way to sustainably shop. Things are generally very good quality, pretty affordable, and it's better for the environment!

I recommend reading the Bible-Starting from Psalms,Proverbs,Ecclesiastes,Song of Songs and then New Testament.
It certainly helped and healed me alot.
Yeah I would also love this saw few people's response to you msg will def try the books they said and the bible I was busy with the bible but you also need some books talking about mental health* I have just been having one horrible time since last year Mei and still going just wish it could stop...I started searching some buddha quotes and things this is also amazing I highly recommend you search buddha quotes on utube*

I’m very confused, your video title says “our life in LA” but didn’t say you you’re visiting for 2 or 3 weeks??
i think it was more than 2 or 3 weeks :) they rented a house for that time.. so it kind of feels like they would "live" there for a short amount of time. so they for sure have gotten a routine and so on.. so its kind of a life there :)
Thats her life in the present in LA. Thats all it means. just her routines in her vacation city.
