You are misunderstanding the reason for a 10 round limits. It is to prevent your OPPONENT from having the greater weapon. CCW is typically a handgun. The limit brings the two guns more inline.

It spread fast in Washington state, in just 6 months it went from an 18 year old can buy a semi auto rifle. To 21 plus paying for a test, that even my 8 year old niece could pass. It gave no real education on guns just the illusion of saftey. Stay strong my Nevada brothers and sisters.

I'm from the UK where we have few rights generally, and I live in Las Vegas for 16 years. I love it here in the USA, probably more than some people who were born here. I call them ungrateful. Some tell me they'd love to live in the UK. I tell them to revisits. Gun rights are slowly being eroded here, from what I understand they implemented the gun registry thing here starting at the beginning of this year. Kinda sucks because I want to buy more guns to add to the 2 handguns I already own but I don't like this whole registry idea, Only way that will go away is if we get a pro gun governor in Nevada. I never stopped at a light that whole day in Long Beach when it all went down. I had to drive from Ximeno/7th to Bixby knolls then to Lakewood in the middle of a literal war zone - they were shooting at firefighters trying to put out the building fires - it was crazy to watch people buring their own city. To say the least it forged my belief in our right to arm ourselves as heavily as we can afford to. Let alone I never felt the same about LB again in spite of the generations our family had raised there. My grandparents met each other and worked in the Long Beach Navel shipyard during WWII and before that my grandfathers construction company built many grocery stores and the Elks lodge there back in the day. Funny - some of those buildings were still standing when I left for the woods years ago. But the good childhood memories of great fishing and leaving your front door unlocked while playing in front of the house still remain.
@控え目 Military does use extended mags they dont use drum mags. If you use a 31 round M4 mag you're using an extended magazine the standard is 30 rounds.

The US has one of the highest murder rates in the world, by far the highest in the western world. Guns dont keep anyone safe, they keep everyone in a constant state of mortal danger. Lethal force escalates situations, Thats why so many police forces around the world try to avoid carrying where possible. We havd a 5 round limit for semi auto rifles in Canada, so this lecture is perfect counter argument to tell anti gunners and liberals, and this argument should be relevant in Canada
gb From my limited understanding, Canada mostly bans guns by name so something like an AK or a SCAR would be illegal since they’re specifically mentioned, but the Norinco Type-95 is still perfectly legal to own ...Ironically those things are banned in the US and I’m honestly kinda jealous about that one.

Here in Minnesota when they started getting close to my house, I got as many of my ar mags as I could. 20 round drum in my saiga and my ar500 body amour and that was so I even had a chance because there was so many people. Just glad my block is all 2A supports and gun owners.

@Jimmy Two Times The problem is getting rid of the second gun is easy, but getting rid of the first one is near impossible. If civilians aren't allowed to own guns, criminals will smuggle them, black market them, and even craft improvised guns. They'd be harder to get, and fewer criminals would be able to get access to guns, but a lot would still get access, and then they'd have it even easier because they wouldn't even have a chance of finding resistance from other people with guns, unless they're going to a gang war or a shoot out with the police or something like that. Furthermore, in a country were guns have never been allowed for civilians, keeping them illegal might be a somewhat effective way to limit criminal access to guns, but in a country were guns are as common as they are in USA, banning them now would produce a flourishing and well supplied black market to provide criminals for generations to come.

A “gun” without all the parts it needs in order to function is not a gun, it’s a piece of strangely shaped junk. Until my gun is loaded it’s not dangerous. Until I have that magazine- no matter its capacity or size- its not dangerous.

A friend who is a military sniper said that unless you are at point blank range, extremely well trained, &/or a sniper & in perfect non stressed conditions, you will miss 40 of those shots & 5 of the remaining 10 you will hit your ONE target but probably nothing to stop them, what if you have more than one target. The comma after “State” divides the subjects of the sentence; “Militia” & “People.” The “people” just came out of a war with the British “militia” trying to subdue and enslave them.

How's the reliability of drum mags? I've only ever seen 22lr drum mags, and being that it was .22, it seemed prone to jamming. Maybe they have a more clever design than I'm thinking, but it seems like getting a spring that could maintain even pressure over the length of 50+ rounds would wear out very quickly.
You can pretty easily get gun savvy. Get real training on that single firearm you have. Astra A-100 9mm pistol is pretty cheap and really easy to learn. Etc.

I never stopped at a light that whole day in Long Beach when it all went down. I had to drive from Ximeno/7th to Bixby knolls then to Lakewood in the middle of a literal war zone - they were shooting at firefighters trying to put out the building fires - it was crazy to watch people buring their own city. To say the least it forged my belief in our right to arm ourselves as heavily as we can afford to. Let alone I never felt the same about LB again in spite of the generations our family had raised there. My grandparents met each other and worked in the Long Beach Navel shipyard during WWII and before that my grandfathers construction company built many grocery stores and the Elks lodge there back in the day. Funny - some of those buildings were still standing when I left for the woods years ago. But the good childhood memories of great fishing and leaving your front door unlocked while playing in front of the house still remain.

They'd be harder to get, and fewer criminals would be able to get access to guns, but a lot would still get access, and then they'd have it even easier because they wouldn't even have a chance of finding resistance from other people with guns, unless they're going to a gang war or a shoot out with the police or something like that.
Furthermore, in a country were guns have never been allowed for civilians, keeping them illegal might be a somewhat effective way to limit criminal access to guns, but in a country were guns are as common as they are in USA, banning them now would produce a flourishing and well supplied black market to provide criminals for generations to come.

How's the reliability of drum mags? I've only ever seen 22lr drum mags, and being that it was .22, it seemed prone to jamming. Maybe they have a more clever design than I'm thinking, but it seems like getting a spring that could maintain even pressure over the length of 50+ rounds would wear out very quickly.
