The end he perfectly explained his interview with the dude from buzzfeed “adams ruins everything” when he was trying to convince joe that there was no such thing as alpha and beta males.
In the beginning, they literally just said that people who critique successful people are losers. Then, at 1:35, when talking about Real Time, Noir: "I was outclassed because they had a great command of using emotion." Rogan: "And clapping... They're teachers... Yay, you got 'em!" … Rogan: "Now when there's 3 other fuckin' people and they're all trying to get soundbites, hoping to get on youtube." Noir: "It's all performative." IDK, I like all these guys though, Bill included.
Maher is a million times more likeable when he's a guest on someone else's show. I feel a lot of the blame is on the corporate suits and network jerkoffs that do Real Time. And the audience....let's just say I'd like to see the cops unload some teargas on them. For no particular reason.
The reason why no one wants to clap for gun rights arguments is because the truth behind it is fucking dark. People would rather think that if guns were illegal there'd never be a situation in which they're need one because it's optimistic. Self preservation isn't optimistic. It's pure pragmatism within situations no one wants to be in to start with.
The Adam Conover episode was absolutely the worst episode of JRE. The entire episode can be boiled down to one sentence: "Again, I'm not an expert but..."
When Maher had Dan Cranshaw on, without his audience, he mostly stuttered, in front of an opinionated man. I'm sure the same would happen if Colion didn't have to take on Maher + guests + audience.
Joe is all about the conversation. When truth appears, you bend where necessary. If you don’t bend you become inauthentic or an ideologue. If that is your wish, so be it. Only, be aware of the inflexibility, and flexibility required to be human.
Joe, I watch the show with Bill Maher and to be fair he did give you lots of opportunities to say = No bill am good but thanks for the offer no drama, sorry Joe the truth needs to be said
Colin you did a fantastic job going up against Bill Maher. I completely agreed with everything you said on his show. Keep up the amazing job & spreading the word about 2A & lawful & responsible gun ownership.
He's a hypocrite as well. He's never going to budge on gun control. Totally agree that people need to talk it out, but neither side is going to admit that the other side has valid points.
Thats because the gun community has been meeting in the middle with anti gun people for decades and they keep wanting more and more laws. The goal of Bloomberg and other anti gun people is to get rid of the second amendment (which they have admitted too) while pro 2A people people just want to be left alone and not deal with laws that make no sense because they were created by people who wouldnt even know how to shoot a gun if they were given one.
@@Nick-sx6jm I think more people don't want to get rid of the the 2A, besides you need an amendment to get rid of it (2/3 majority of Congress and the States). The problem is that gun owners will create a false narrative that the other side wants to create a slippery slope to abolishing the 2A. While the other side demonizes 2A supporters for the demented actions of a few. Everyone is a cynic and little trust is given.
@@TheRealZura Yeah the slippery slope argument has been happening for years. We give them a law here and there and they keep wanting more and more that are increasingly more restricting. While they cant altogether get rid of the 2A they can regulate and tax it into oblivion so that only super wealthy people that can understand and afford it can own certain types of guns that are not outright banned.
Bill Maher needs his studio audience and his television format in order to look good. Cant see Maher without hearing Kyle saying Okay
I want Maher to invite a pissed off right winger like Nick di Paolo. He will brawl with that whole table and audience.
My money's on Nick!
Christopher Hitchens is was not right wing but he gave Bill and his audience hell and ran circles around them
Mad respect for both of these men 2A matters.
His last point can’t be any more true than with Crowder
@@erikagrey1384 ben shapiro does sort of the same tactics as crowder. Most of his "debates" are at places where the crowd are mostly if not all shapiro fans.
@@victor75208 No, it's not. And I'm talking about his actual debates, not college speeches.
@ vicbjr he seemed to have the whole crowd against him at times when he debated cenk.
@@ceejay8775 are you talking about their debate at politicon?
@@diegotobaski9801 regardless he still leaves the deck stacked against any critics he may have at his "speeches" not to mention he has compilation vids of him "owning libs". Both Ben and Crowder are bad faith actor. They're pushing an agenda first and foremost.
I'm pro gun, but I'm also pro common sense. The problem in America is common sense is often not applied to gun laws/ownership. Colin is a zero compromise pro 2A guy, and it's why I don't care for his stance.
Wen Dave Portnoy?
Wen Hodge Twins?
+1 for the Twins
+5million for twins
Hodge Twins on Rogan would literally be the greatest podcast of all time.
@Ben doverman hi Nazi
Up vote for the Hodge bros!
Lol this interview reminded me of the video Adam ruins himself on JRE🤣
Bill "making fun of me is unfair" Maher
Colion should have stood up at the end of the Maher show, and yelled to the crowd; "Are you not entertained?"
Like on Gladiator.
That shit would have been based A.F.
I actually agree with a lot of what Bill Maher says, but his ego is fragile
I thought you did fine. I was shocked how respectful he was.
While I like Bill Maher, him doing his show without the audience basically being a laugh track has made it harder to watch
Grace, that's just the opening monologue...I personally don't like that either, but...it's not the whole show.
It's the same with John Oliver. If the content can't stand on it's own without a laugh track then the content itself is not very good.
Really didn’t read your comment, your hair has me awed.
@@aaroncox9349 I'll allow it
"Audience" is a loose term you're using there. "Sycophantic lapdogs" is a little more on point.
The end he perfectly explained his interview with the dude from buzzfeed “adams ruins everything” when he was trying to convince joe that there was no such thing as alpha and beta males.
If self righteousness was personified, it'd be Bill Maher.
In the beginning, they literally just said that people who critique successful people are losers.
Then, at 1:35, when talking about Real Time,
Noir: "I was outclassed because they had a great command of using emotion."
Rogan: "And clapping... They're teachers... Yay, you got 'em!"
…
Rogan: "Now when there's 3 other fuckin' people and they're all trying to get soundbites, hoping to get on youtube."
Noir: "It's all performative."
IDK, I like all these guys though, Bill included.
Bill Maher's audience is one of the most annoying. I like Maher tho.
Maher is a million times more likeable when he's a guest on someone else's show. I feel a lot of the blame is on the corporate suits and network jerkoffs that do Real Time. And the audience....let's just say I'd like to see the cops unload some teargas on them. For no particular reason.
He's a loudmouth hypocrite what is there to like about him
The reason why no one wants to clap for gun rights arguments is because the truth behind it is fucking dark. People would rather think that if guns were illegal there'd never be a situation in which they're need one because it's optimistic. Self preservation isn't optimistic. It's pure pragmatism within situations no one wants to be in to start with.
Get Dave Portnoy on the pod!!! Brick by brick baby!
alright Frankie, pull that up.
The incels new dream date. I can't wait until he realizes, lololol.
Please no!
There are emotions on both sides of gun debate. The idea that gun control is all emotional with no logic is a joke.
If armchair quarterbacking was a sport, bills cast would be getting gold all day.
Yo, anyone know if youtube took down the full episode?
Ayy joe wearing a Glock shirt 🤟🏼
The Adam Conover episode was absolutely the worst episode of JRE. The entire episode can be boiled down to one sentence: "Again, I'm not an expert but..."
Joe Rogan feels more comfortable when he's home doing his interviews, or visiting some friend's podcast. I'm not surprised.
J
yesruclips.net/video/oT6aLBBRhGA/видео.html
yeah hes joe fuckin rogan, why would he ever need to do anybody elses anything?
When Maher had Dan Cranshaw on, without his audience, he mostly stuttered, in front of an opinionated man. I'm sure the same would happen if Colion didn't have to take on Maher + guests + audience.
5:35 - Adam Ruins Everything podcast.
Noir has a great channel
Joe's shape shifting in full form again. His core is like ether
Joe is all about the conversation. When truth appears, you bend where necessary. If you don’t bend you become inauthentic or an ideologue. If that is your wish, so be it. Only, be aware of the inflexibility, and flexibility required to be human.
Glad to see he is back on the show
Joe, I watch the show with Bill Maher and to be fair he did give you lots of opportunities to say = No bill am good but thanks for the offer no drama, sorry Joe the truth needs to be said
Colin you did a fantastic job going up against Bill Maher. I completely agreed with everything you said on his show.
Keep up the amazing job & spreading the word about 2A & lawful & responsible gun ownership.
I want to see Tommy Sotomayor on Rogan.
Joe, You would do great on Bill Maher's show.
He'd just agree with what Bill says to avoid any mishaps. Joe changes his opinions based on his guest all the time
Who wants to go on that show
He was on Bill's ABC show at least once... when Joe had hair.
He's a hypocrite as well. He's never going to budge on gun control. Totally agree that people need to talk it out, but neither side is going to admit that the other side has valid points.
When you ask a gun supporter if you don't like a law if you should work to undermined it
When they say no you shouldn't remind them of abortion
Because there really isnt a solid counterpoint to why guns should be illegal or anything. The pros far outweigh any sort of cons
I hope Joe Rogan has has Andrew Kaufman on when he starts on Spotify
I really wish he had Sam Hyde on
Only time I’ve ever seen conversations work in a crowd is that change my mind guy
Stephen crowder!
Joe Rogan's voice is starting to change for the worse.
Bill Maher needs his studio audience and his television format in order to look good. Dan Crenshaw absolutely shredded Bill Maher when the reaction to the covid turned his television show into a one on one podcast. I'm not even the biggest fan of Crenshaw either, but damn... Maher didn't know what hit him, and he couldn't fall back on his audience clapping at a flashing _'APPLAUSE'_ sign like bunch of trained circus seals for support.
Joe "pivot" Rogaine
How many times are you gonna make the same joke Trent?
How ? He’s always had this stance. He’s always been PRO gun
It's what happens during real conversation. Highly unusual on the internet in any capacity.
Joe is not wrong about the “Real Time” format but most Americans will not sit and watch an intelligent debate without the “sound-bite” or snarky remark. It’s an interesting space that you have created and your audience (which includes me) appreciate the true conversations you produce.
