Secrets of thinking like a US Navy SEAL. I became a national champ using Navy SEAL techniques. My top 5 lessons I learned from my Navy SEAL coach, TC Cummings.
He taught me so many things and propelled me to 2 national memory championships.
What if you could have Navy SEAL mental toughness training?
What would be the result of Navy SEAL mental training?
I tell you what it meant for me....
A LOT!!
Navy SEAL mental toughness training was what TC Cummings gave me when I was training for the USA Memory Championship.
The USA Memory Championship is a great event and a lot of fun but I didn't go for fun I went to become the USA Memory Champion. With TC Cummings Navy SEAL mental toughness training I became a two time USA Memory Champion.
These are the Navy SEAL mental toughness lessons I learned:
1. Build confidence by setting small goals and accomplishing them
2. Face a consequence when you don't hit a goal or do what you say you are going to do to mentally wipe the slate clean so you aren't beating yourself up over it
3. Make your training harder than the actual event so the actual event will be easy on you
4. Remind yourself of your past successes so you have a history of winning mindset
5. Train when you don't feel like it.
These powerful Navy SEAL mental toughness training lessons really made an impact on me.
If you watch the video above you can see me memorizing a deck of cards under water and swimming across a pool in freezing cold weather.
The harder you are on yourself when no one else is watching the easier life will be on you. The easier you are on yourself when no one else is watching the harder life will be on you.
The more you sweat in times of peace, the less you bleed in times of war.
Navy SEAL mental toughness training is how I became a 2 Time USA Memory Champion. I hope this video helps and inspires you.
1. Philosophy: the more you sweat in times of peace, the less you bleed in times of war, train yourself in chaos and everything going wrong!
2. see yourself have a history of winning, write out and read the list over and over again
3. set small goals throughout the day
4. a navy seal will always face a consequence for not hitting a goal
5. train when you dont feel like it
In my life those small goals are all of the things that go wrong in a day of pouring concrete. You beat each one as it comes. Never think too much negative because it creeps into reality somehow.
Number 5 is correct just like hamza says “do the hard work especially when you don’t feel like it”
I'm 80 in 2021 & I set 1 goal per day & I get it done, so I get 7 goals done per week. Still working 2 jobs right through the pandemic, + I'm still alive.
You are alive bc you are disciplined fighter and focused on your set goal. Love it! Blessings.
the more you sweat in times of peace the less your bleed in times of war.
This one stood out for me too & I experienced it today for myself. I am planning to take this one seriously. Don't know how far I will go but I will definitely try!
I know many people have said this "Thank-you so much for sharing".
THANK YOU!!
why doesnt this man have more views? this guy is incredible. ive watched 2 videos and im sold.

The more you sweat in peace time, the less you bleed in war time, the best. Kudos to your coach and you.
This is an outstanding video Ron! That story really fascinated me.
Albert Einstein lol amazing
Plz explain theory of relativity
yeah alright Einstein...
Yeah me too
This is gold!
thank you so much
@@browncatwithblurredbackgro2461 you do you
Navy seals have mental wisdom for days, an online friend of mine is one and he is like a damn wizard of wisdom. Always has anwsers and ways to push me.
This is now my all time favorite self help video of all. You are a master communicator.
So incredible. Congrats on your accomplishments and thanks for helping all of us. Your techniques have changed my professional and personal life. Appreciate all your work sir.
You are so welcome!
This is Awesome...These gems can be applied to anything you want to accomplish. I'm a USAF veteran prepping for a public speaking gig and this video is gold!
you got my respect , giving credit where credit is due and not claiming to be something you're not ...you i admire.
Thank you for this! I grew up in a tough household -- very distracting mental environment -- which, among other things, has affected my reading comprehension skills to this day. Your video has allowed me a constructive way of thinking about my upbringing in a new light. It was my 'training' -- tx!
You have changed my life...i've got my pre conceptions come into picture in this Video ...i have been always thinking like TC Cumming
I love how you used these seemingly impossible training standards of a Navy seal that most people could not even imagine in their own life as a civilian. The wisdom that can be gained from special forces training and how it can translate into making a civilian more prepared and disciplined is some thing that we should all be thinking about more. I loved your video and congrats on your victory, you earned it!
Thanks a lot Mr. White.
May God bless you, your family and all of your subscribers more.
This is now my favorite of all RUclips videos. I will apply these rules my whole life. Thank you for sharing these golden lessons!
Glad you like them!
Wonderful! Simple & Clear summary of your experience. Thank you.
Having a consequence for not meeting your goal and how we must train in ugly circumstances helped me, thank you!
1st lesson itself is so awesome I can't even describe it. The best way to live is to live like a SEAL
I accidentally came across the memory videos (of course, long story), so glad I did. Im trying to overcome numerous health issues, turning 50 next week and trying to motivate myself to take on new things to challenge myself. such as meditation, language, etc. this coming up randomly was a great sign and will help me some of these hurdles I do believe. Thank you for such a great video. Thank you to TC for serving our Country.
This was good. The majority of videos with the "same" title as this, has a risk of just including wish-washy bullshit advice: e.g. "You have to belive" with no further explanation. But this was practical and solid. Thumbs up.
This is something new for me, I love the consequences idea, just not harsh on myself enough. Thanks for sharing these 5 keys to success!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I can imagine that a LOT of ppl in your situation would just brag about how unbelievably special and gifted they were, instead of making a gift of their hard-won knowledge.
My favourite: the one that makes a connection between a consequence and a clear conscience. God knows many of us are either dismissive of our failings (we r only human, right), or baste ourselves in the self-hate of constant regret. To face a consequence without self-punishment to come clean and whole out of the other side. I am making a note of that one, right there.
Thank you!
Awesome points worthy as gold. I found the TC philosophy and the consequence idea very interesting. Thank you Ron for sharing this with people around the globe.
Glad you enjoyed it
Wow those are all super great lessons! I really like the lesson about stacking up all the wins from our entire life and reminding ourselves that we are super successful people and we can do anything and everything that we want, need, love, deserve and desire!!!!! Thank you for these super wonderful videos, Ron! I appreciate them and I love the way you teach, really an energy of super high performance and I love it!!!!! :D
This has helped me and motivated me a lot, I feel like this just stroke a sucket punch to my depression, thanks a lot :)
Loved this RON! ..Thank you for sharing! GOD BLESS YOU!!!!
You are very welcome
Excellent video I absolutely loved number one it sets the tone for everything else well done well-thought-out very very valuable.
Allison
Ron- I just found this video. I attended on of your seminars many years ago. You taught us how to memorize by seeing 5 pieces of furniture in each room of our house and placing a mental image. It was so powerful and I still use that technique today. You are a ROCKSTAR
I did hit like and subscribe button. Let's of talk about transparency, but here's what I call authenticity. We all needed someone to be real with us. That's you Mr. White. Memory and not this manifestation and vibrations crapoloa. But actually pragmatic real life training. Kudos.
This will actually help & I was looking for it
*THANK YOU* straight from my heart
Thank you very much for such video. Right time, right place. As I am about to start my side business.
I am gonna implement all of them during my journey
Ok great and good luck
You had good influences and had good instructors. Youre parents and colleagues are what made you to be a very amazing person. Awesome!
Man.......I don't know how I stumbled upon this video, but Sir you just saved my life. Thank you for sharing.
Excellent video. Thanks for sharing
This was one of my favorite of your videos so far! Training with small goals, and training in chaos/when you don't feel like it. I think those are my favorite tips from this video, and likely what I need to work on most!!!! Thank you Ron!!!
that consequence part is so real, it hit me when you were explaining it. I was getting up at 4am in the morning because if i didnt , i will miss my bus that comes to pick us up at 6:40am to my office. and my office is far , really far. if i miss it not only i had to travel that far distance from my bike which was excruciating in the morning cold. but u are so sleepy during that time.
facing consequence and building confidence. self abnigation u get true training. superb
your videos are made of gold
Great presentation! Nice summary of your intense training. My favorite of the 5 principles is about training in adverse conditions so that you are ready to face anything that the proverbial universe throws at you.......and it WILL throw something at you! Thanks Ron!
Fascinating, highly instructive video. Aligns with the illuminating quotation from business philosopher Jim Rohn "... Behind every disciplined effort is a multiple reward." I almost forgot, Dom Perignon cheers for your Memory Championship Award!!!!
thank you

Wonderful! Those 5 tips are very useful! I like the first and the last one - I gave myself a lot of excuses of NOT study....After watching your video, I don't have excuses for being lazy.... Thanks!
Thank you for sharing. I took notes and will start implementing them. I think this is just what I need to boost the momentum I have just gained recently toward being a more effective human being.

Awesome work man. You did what others won't do. All 5 of these techniques are my favorite. Keep on trucking...
Ron, thank you so much for sharing these jewels of wisdom. The idea of being prepared under tough conditions makes sense in general however, I just have reservations about putting pressure on mind and/or body while one is sick.
Sir it was valuable keep sharing more on this respect from India

Thanks a lot ron you are changing life salutes from Ecuador
thank you very motivational
This video has inspired me!
Mate, I wish I could tell you which one was my favourite, but my memory isn't trained properly like yours.
But I remember you saying I should set lots of small goals throughout the day. And accomplish them. And if I don't, I should give myself a negative consequence.
If I feel bad, I should train anyway. Because I might feel bad on the big day.
When I train, I need to be able to train in the midst of a very challenging situation, like under water. The more I sweat in times of peace, the less I bleed in times of war.
I've got to work out how I started winning from my youth until now, no matter how small the wins.
But something I learned specifically from you, and not from your Navy Seal coach, is how to be upfront about not being a Navy Seal. Admitting that you were in the navy. That your coach was a navy seal. And you have a lot of respect for a navy seal. But you're not a navy seal. That earned my respect.
Hey Ronnie. Great Vid. I am training for a very long endurance race. 44 days by yourself rowing in the ocean. I naturally do the first thing you talked about, but the other 4 were great. Mindset of winning and consequences...very helpful. thanks
Man, this was really inspiring. It's so cool to see this kind of content. Thanks, dude.
Outstanding!!!!
very, very true, touched me
I LOVED this video. I'm going to incorporate ALL of these into my life.
