The roads look amazing and so remote. Considered putting in some TT bars for aero and comfort position? Well being a big guy and going straight mostly for endurance and all 🤣 You'd need the Shiv Speed Sniffer.
Perfect timing of the video. Thanks for the sizing help previously. I have a new question. I have two options and only enough to purchase either one bib (Mille GTO in long) or a package of two bibs (1x equipe rs + 1x Mille GTS). Cons are that it would be regular length (instead of long gto) going for the second option but pros are obviously the two bib combo. Whats your thoughts? Cheers
The difference between the standard and long, is listed as 3cm. Quite honestly, I don't find the extra 3cm a necessity, but more of a preference for some people. The long will probably reach the knee, while the standard falls roughly 2 to 3 cm short of the knee. I've got several pairs of the RS, and 1 pair of the RSR in all standard length, and they're fine for me. I would get the RS and GTS combo, as it would offer variety in how far you want to ride. Both are excellent bib shorts.
@@Technotranceism That's exactly what I have ordered Brad. I realised that chasing the perfect bib at the expense of having 2 great bibs was foolish in hindsight. One of our many flaws exploited by smart companies. Why don't Assos have long versions for all of their bibs? Or are tall folk so special that they need the absolute premium? Haha
@@prejitsu3101 I suspect that they have few models to base sizes on. Seems to be with just about everyone of them. Keep your eyes open for a sale on the GTO pair, some companies sit on inventory, and try to offload them cheaper when sales decline.
That’s awesome. I really want to try the RSR (if it were free, absolutely) but I like the RS stuff so much, I really don’t want to stray from it. I’ve heard the RSR is HIGHLY compressive comparatively too, so maybe it might be too much for me? Like I said, I’d love to try it, but hard to change from what works so well already.
The RSR is virtually the same in compression, as the RS. The major difference, is the material used for both. The RSR uses a thinner design material, I guess to breath a bit better in high heat, and maybe lose a few grams in weight. They're both part of the RS line, just a difference in material choice, for the main short. Both features the same straps, strap layout, and chamois. The RSR SL is an indoor version, with extreme ventilation, and only the groin section not showing thru.
Just got the spring fall s9 bibs, outstanding below 65 f!
Aren’t they SOOOOO GOOD!?
@@MitchOnTwoWheels YES! Got the S9 Equipe winter tights as well, can’t wait to try them when it gets colder here in Nashville, Tn.

I’ve never really thought about it… Although I’m obviously a big Speed Sniffer guy 😂.

Only you can answer that… either way will be great 😊

Where was this Mitch?ty✌️

Love the kit! Like you I go for the Equipe RS the majority of the time and the GTO on longer rides. Any plans to try the Equipe RSR out?

@@Technotranceism thank you for providing more insight! I’ll stick with the RS because they breathe pretty good.
Thanks for that! Great insight.
@@cnosby Not a problem, Mitch does a great job with his videos, and taught me the difference in their jersey line.
The 90 second struggle is real.
"look at this a$$hole speeding"... that truck looked perfectly fine to me. Don't be a prima donna... that's the problem, not the solution.
He was speeding. I didn’t say anything to him… just to the camera 😂
