I'm used to my Mom's Ghraybeh which are trned into a circle, like a small bagel with 2 or 3 pistachios on top. they melted in our mouths and had slightly dry feel to it. When she was making these my brother andi I could not wait to pull them off the tray for a taste of heaven. To me, they are the best and finest cookie when it comes to Lebanese confections. Right on top with Baklava, Raha, and the like. Thank you Maureen. Kudos to you.
This looks really great! I’ll have to try to make these. I made the cabbage rolls. They were good but they were even better the next day. Thanks so much for your recipes!
I make mine about the same way, I melt the salted butter then add 2 Tbsp of flour to draw the salt out and then freeze it, I use granulated sugar and all purpose flour mixed all together until it gets white and fluffy
@@pyrexcookin3 cups granulated sugar 3 cups all purpose flour and 1 pound of salted butter 4 squares, it's a weird recipe because you have like 3 stages of making it lol.

Oh that sounds like a very interesting process Brett, thank you!
do you adjust the ratio/grams of granulated sugar when using that instead of confectioners?

In this recipe, if I were adding orange blossom water with the sugar, how much orange blossom water??? How much vanilla???
Great question thank you! I use two teaspoons of either orange blossom water or vanilla. You can adjust that amount to taste.
@@maureenabood Have you posted a video for making Namoura??
