    I made my first ever phylo dough yesterday for baklava using starch and rolling pins.. you made it look 100000 times easier!!

      Indeed it is, however, with this method you get them one at a time. Using a rolling pin and starch you can get many in one go. If you are proficient enough :)

    In my country malaysia, u can find a lot of this street food. We normally fry it using a flat pan with a bit if oil added n filling can be a bit of oil or egg. It is very nice n we dip with dhall curry or chicken curry

      Yes, I've seen those and there are a lot of ways you can use the phyllo sheets. If you can find the frozen variety in the store, they are always available to do something nice with.

      Hello Revo, the store bought version is sold rolled between sheets of parchment paper. I don't see why it should not work here as well. It can be frozen for later use but might crack if not thawed completely in the fridge before use. Good luck and do let me know how it turned out if you freeze it.
