I bought one of these and absolutely love it! I have been welding for over 40 years and have owned many main stream machines and this one is the best by far. My machine came damaged however and I called the company to get a replacement latch for the side panel and they never got back to me....sad

Hi, I recently won at auction an older AC/DC Miller Thunderbolt. I know enough about welding to be dangerous. Is the Thunderbolt considered a power source and are there attachments that can turn it into a MIG and/or TIG welder?
I have never used a thunder bolt but I do know the machine,.I may be wrong but to me It looks like a straight stick machine that you can run on ac or dc . As far accessories go I'm honestly not sure but I would guess probably not . Thanks for your question though! Hopefully I can be more help next time
