As an Australian that's been to London but has never been to New York, this was very interesting! I also enjoy this type of content where people are interviewed in different languages. That 'fish and chip' New Yorker is exactly like those Londoners you interviewed. I'm from London, and I assure you, those lads have never left their borough let alone ventured outside of London. New York is an amazing and unique place. London is too but they are very different. London is steeped in History. Its a magical place, and ironically, has some of the best restaurants in the world.I can't quite describe just how impactful London is. You just have to visit. It lives and breathes. You can hear the echoes of the past as you walk around. You can walk down a unspectacular alleyway and I guarantee there will be a blue plaque showing how something amazing happened there in the past. You will never fully explore London.

NY is the most diverse place in the entire world and its why i personally would consider it the best city in the world. Its the one thing that no one can argue against unlike other things. Things like food, people, weather, cost of living, government and all of those other things can be argued for other cities but diversity is one thing that cannot be argued. If white Brits are involved in p€dophillia, child grooming, pub fights, football hooliganism etc.. they're judged as INDIVIDUALS, when non-whites do it they're judged as a GROUP.

Newyork is like Bercelona, and London is like Madrid. NYC is right on the coast & has beaches, while London is stuck in land like Madrid. Another difference is, NYC is sunny most of the year, while London is overcast & rains much of the year.

@@alessbritish228 well observed. In terms of sizes of continents, Europe is indeed relatively small. The thread of this particular conversation however relates to languages/dialects. I was responding to the argument that all languages in Europe stem from one root dialect by mentioning that languages such as Gaelic, Welsh etc do not stem from the same root language as German, French, Spanish etc. I hope that clears up any confusion on your part mate.
