That 'fish and chip' New Yorker is exactly like those Londoners you interviewed. I'm from London, and I assure you, those lads have never left their borough let alone ventured outside of London. New York is an amazing and unique place. London is too but they are very different. London is steeped in History. Its a magical place, and ironically, has some of the best restaurants in the world.I can't quite describe just how impactful London is. You just have to visit. It lives and breathes. You can hear the echoes of the past as you walk around. You can walk down a unspectacular alleyway and I guarantee there will be a blue plaque showing how something amazing happened there in the past. You will never fully explore London. There are lots of polyglots on RUclips, but you're the only one I've seen who really masters these languages. I can only confirm for Spanish and French, but you're at a near-native level. My only recommendation in Spanish is to ask, "A qué te dedicas?" instead of "qué haces en la vida?".

It seems that most non-Americans speak at least two languages. In contrast, the majority of Americans only speak English. Kudos to you for mastering so many languages. That's awesome.
It's because we have so many different languages... Find yourself in a small country like Belgium, surrounded by larger European nations and everyone here speaks like 4 languages. Also your education system is just terrible, like no one really learns a language at school but it at least helps a little.

fun fact, london is food capital of the world. because they are hosting the best restraunts for every cuisine around the world. thai? best in london. lebanese, turkish? chinese? the best ones are always in london. ps. turkish citizen living in turkey, been in both cities, new york is a good place to visit but london is a place that makes you want to live there. only one thing is better in nyc, it's a bit less expensive.
Not biased or anything like that but I would say New York wins in world foods, because it's got Mexicans and central/south Americans 😂 plus all that other food
@@DefensisIndus i been to both, although i am moving to new york city, the food isn't as good as londons, the only good things about new york city is that it has Manhattan and i prefer it over central london, also i like that it is more 24/7 type of city, and that it is smaller than london in area size, so u have more to do in short space, where as london is so spreadout for miles and i hate making the effort to see different things, it takes its toll on you, but london has advantages too over new york city, better food, less extreme weather, better technology, better neighbourhoods, better transportation, etc... having said that london and new york city offer the samethings in almost all categories, but london neighbourhoods are ten times better than new yorks rundown neighbourhoods

I disagree with the diversity part. Its not even close. There are over 600 spoken languages in NY while only around 200 in London. NY is the most diverse place in the entire world and its why i personally would consider it the best city in the world. Its the one thing that no one can argue against unlike other things. Things like food, people, weather, cost of living, government and all of those other things can be argued for other cities but diversity is one thing that cannot be argued. No other city has more spoken languages than NYC. This is just my opinion.
