    Hi Damian because of the dense canopy in Harwood forest it seems to make it more eerie at night and the branches that have fallen on the ground seem to be all natural when i have been there,also the noises all seem to be consistent like deer barks and owl or wood pigeon,hopefully i might bump into you at some point and have a chat,great vid and keep them coming cheers Iain.

    i remain forever sceptical about the forest, dead standing trees are gonna give at some point. If there was a yeti, i think you would see signs of life, animal tracks, and some kinda den. But i'll keep an open mind, if its proved to be true years from now, we will think of you first.
    iv'e said before, i'm not a fan of pine forests for camping, but i enjoy watching you do it.

    I am big into my wild camping and also Bigfoot. I have seen tree breaks and structures up here in North Bolton area. Seen a lot of what I would say were non definitive foot prints. Had something that sounded bipedal circling the camp for a few minutes at about 2am one night, after a while a got up and stocked the fire but didn't see any eyeshine. I was creeping through the woods once and saw something large and brown shoot off as soon as I looked in it's direction. Heard a huge bang not long ago after I myself had been making a racket with my axe, at the time I put it down to a farmer trying to scare me off with his shotgun even though I wasn't on his land, it was very close and very loud and there was no wind so maybe it was a limb being snapped off. I am still not sure if any of my experiences have been Sasquatch related but I am going to keep searching. One tip is that they can hear all the electro magnetic radiation coming from our gadgets, there senses are super human and they will smell and test the air. So its pretty impossible to sneak up on one, not that you would want to suprise one.

    • @Fell_Wanderer
      @Fell_Wanderer  6 лет назад

      I used to think they were an offshoot from the hominid tree like gigantopithecus but now I believe in the Woo, its took me a while to think like that but that makes the most sense from what I'm finding from research, thanks for your comment, atb

    Hi there I have just watched your video with great interest ! there is a forest area close by where I live and I have often wondered about the snapped branches and certain branch formations that seem to be placed by whatever at the base of trees ! last october I did some filming there and it looks as though something is watching me ? I put it on youtube and titled it Watcher in the woods UK cryptid ??? as I have no idea whatsoever what it was / is ! the video was met with mixed response but some did believe it to be some kind of creature ! after watching your video I am going back to film some more of the area and the stick signs that are around ! I know that people think that the cryptid's are nonsense but I personally believe that there is so much open and forested areas of the U K that nothing is impossible as crazy as it may sound !!

    • @Fell_Wanderer
      @Fell_Wanderer  4 года назад +1

      I know people who have seen and heard unusual things in the woods and countryside, they are genuine and some didn't want to be named when it came to passing on their info to other researchers. There is definitely something happening we don't fully understand and I think it's paranormal in nature of which science has no answer to what is going on. Keep looking and one day you might find the evidence to show us all but without solid evidence like a body, there will always be the sceptics. ATB.

    Hello! That forest, being dark & windy probably feels eerie & mysterious. However, in my experience, wind causes all sorts of configurations: X shapes, broken trees & branches, falling bits stuck in the ground from great heights, all naturally normal. Of course, Yeti or Sasquatch is natural too! lol! You, like me and others are yearning to discover unusual events, animals, places. In lots of cases, it is natural forces, like wind, snow, and the age of those trees. Some broken trees you marvel at appear rotten to me {way over here across the "Pond" in partially pine forests of Virginia USA [lol]}.

    Great Vid as always pal. Harwood forest is on my to do list this year I think if I can summon up the balls after the last trip LOL... Quite impressed Deborah hatswell made that Vid about it. Interesting about all the tree snaps at different heights and angles tho. Was that one of them tinned French cassoulet meals from a Adli ??? tried it once never again, even the cat walked away in disgust LOL. You can make a great little stove out of a tin of tuna in oil.. just make sure its not in tommy sauce or brine !!!! put some bog roll in the top to soak up the oil and light it. Ive used it on a few trips and Vids. just scrape the burnt paper off the top and you've got a hot smoked tuna dish to mix with whatever you've heated up with it perfick. Hats off to you ATB Steve.

    the vocals sounded like beef cattle or cow to me they often seek shelter or bit of cheeky grazing in these forests if hill farms are abutting onto the forestry land they often poke their noses in go for a wander at night!!
    trees also distort recorded sound muffle it with their trunks
    so sound doesnt travel so easily gets distorted
    by the tree trunks deadening of the original sound

    Hello Damian'
    If that forest gets snow, that could account for broken & bent over trees, eh?

    • @Fell_Wanderer
      @Fell_Wanderer  4 года назад

      Heavy snow fall and wind can cause damage to the trees. That doesn't explain trees broken in a W or X shape?.. it might still be possible so I keep an open mind.

      Thank you, I really appreciate that but I don't like accepting gifts TBH. In the past I've had stuff handed to me so couldn't really refuse. I make videos because I enjoy doing so and don't expect anything in return. The nice comments and channel support is enough. Thanks again, atb, Damian.

    I think it's people going out there breaking the trees and placing them in random formations to elicit the air of mystery.

    Wanting a walk and to do my first wild camp? But don’t know where is safe to leave the car?

      I've not tried the Kelly Kettle, they are a good because they run on twigs and branches. I have a minimal cooking setup and find that ok for boiling water

      Les Stroud is a successful and genuine person who doesn't need to lie for money and bring ridicule upon himself. I met Adam Davies who told me about the portal incident 1 year before going public when Dr Mathew Johnson released the audio recordings of the incident. Thats how I know this phenomenon is real when honest people see strange things thats cant easily be explained away

    Damian what dpm jacket is that you’ve got on? Sas/para? and is it waterproof? +how much did you pay for it?

    • @Fell_Wanderer
      @Fell_Wanderer  6 лет назад

      I think its soldier 95, its not an earlier issue jacket I do know that. Its shower proof cotton but not waterproof. I cant remember what I paid for it but would have been less than £20 on Ebay. I now have a DPM Goretex jacket which is better because its waterproof and I recommend getting one of those.

  • @deepsouthNZ
    @deepsouthNZ 5 лет назад

    that is a man made forest and those trees are grown to be harvested on maturity, they require maintenance and blokes go in there to prune them, they drop the branches and they leave them where they fall. Wild animals also live there

    Is this is a man made forest? looks like it. Those tree breaks are common as in the High Country Damen, we have the same all over mate. Man managed forests and breaks happen when harvesting lumbar. There are also scientists doing their work there so who knows but it looks bog standard to me mate. Great video as always. Love them. Cheers Moose.

    • @6brettes
      @6brettes 6 лет назад +4

      MOOSEDOWNUNDER yes it is a manmade forest but peoples have been reporting strange experiences in this forest over a long period of time certain areas can attract unusual activity this is a vast forest that is largely isolated you can reason either way as regards to the breaks but these odd type of breaks are recorded everywhere allover world incl glyphs circles and x s
      wikka witchcraft and occultism often pre curse the ground ancient indian burial sites were also cursed in the columbia river valley heading up towards dawson city and creek has the highest suicide rate in usa and many missing persons reports or persons who have gone woods crazy or mad when sociologists investigated as to reason why many of the modern day homes were built over pre existing pre cursed territory or burial grounds
      satanists often can set or hex an area of ground to curse the next person who comes along much like a spiritual ambush
      the clergy bishops and deans can often testify to this as they are often targetted by existing covens as they go out to reconsecrate areas of land used for devil worship
      several campers have run away for their lives in this area after hearing growls of a large animal nearby their camp and felt watched hunted by a beast that seemed intent on possibly killing them so thy ranaway at night 2am or just after setting up camp sparking off a rescue team search of area as kit was just left abandoned
      the persons who the camp kit belonged too later confessed to police it was their kit and why they left it abandoned
      as were embarrassed to admit it but also they were far to scared to return being lone females
      so police understood that let them off returned them their kit
      etc
      there are many odd places that exist i have often felt the atmosphere change inexplicably or hackles go up on back of yer neck passing through some pretty remote non descript areas usually where there has been a ruin or previous habitation as in crofts of scotland or in deep woods felt as if you were being watched or followed by something yes this could be put down to edginess but not if your dog also reacts!!
      to the threat
      so if your not a believer in the occult or paranormal supernatural ufos or bigfoot or anything like that then you will prob just find a rational explanations but if you are a believer this type of subject can open up a rabbit hole as we now have walkers in usa canada elsewhere in world reporting changes to the atmosphere and bushes trees being shaken at them severely and time space continium type interdimensional portals opening up in form of a mirage or shimmer on the trail path just in front of them or to one sides of trail one guy reported a tremendous fear overcoming him just prior to its apearances on the trail he noticed a bush rustling shimmering and like a predator the movie type shimmer or quasi visible figure behind the bush he stood staring at it for over 35mins he decided to get his metal up and go forwards despite feeling very scared of it this optical illusion thing on trail just feet in front of him
      he extended his walking stick and foot out into this shimmering mirage bush & unexplained optical thing and he said his foot and tip of his walking stick simply disapeared became invisible monentarily until he withdrew it again back out the portal
      he then felt really freaked out by this and scarpered as he was all alone miles n miles out in the wilderness
      others incl world champ mt bike riders have had similar exps except they felt overcome when their following mt bike riding mates caught up with them 25mins later the lead biker was in middles of stripping off all his clothes and folding them neatly into.a pile next to the trail on a freezing cold day at high alt in the snowline?
      they had to virtually slap him out of his stupor he then reported seeing a bush shimmer and hear unusual sounds and energy wave hit his body like esp or ultrasound
      he couldnt explain it?
      they coming along saved the day as he was freezing cold and yet his first desire was to take all his kit off!
      david paulides missing 411 cases report hundreds of similar missing cases
      and thousands have disapeared and nobody yet has yet properly explained it
      none of the deaths or cases have been attributed to ordinary means
      so i feel that there is something elses going on
      out in these remoter often unvisited areas that may have something to do with an as yet unknown phenomenon which we would find inexplicable even if it were not a mystery and explained to us this world is full of surprises and we simply do not yet know it all
      so it pays to keep an open mind
      about all of it
      as if anything is unexplained then to me that constitutes a mystery
      unless i have an categoric answer it will always remain a mystery and many of these missing 411 cases are left unexplained or accounted for!

      MOOSEDOWNUNDER look up the dylatov pass incident in russias caucasus in the 50s or the nahanni valley of n west territories of canada
      or some of the glyphs and tree breaks reported by bf well reknowned researchers! allover in australia a sas patrol were virtually ran out of their op position camp one night started late in evening by the ozzy versions of a bf bigfoot
      a yowie
      so they had stuff flung at them all night had to extricate cut off the mil exercise early get picked up at 6am as it spooked them so much and also american vietnam units report same thing in cambodia laos or vietnam
      during the viet kong war
      they had large rocks hurled at them and the beasts were not frightened of them howled at them despite the fact they were all heavily armed n carry guns
      they showed no fear but just contempt towards them and anger at being in their area
      these things could go back to the time of the living giants as mentioned in our pre history
      or by the earliest n american indians whom all reported giants wandering the forests before they had even adopted their lands and first arrived these giants were in pre existences!!
      to mankind!!
