No, he lives in Harwood forest but has also been seen in the Cheviot Hills. Was out last night with Christopher in Harwood and Whatsapped you for an invite so check your app bro for missed messages
Hi Damo, great to see you back out. I did put your absence down to the UK cold 🥶 … but sorry for your loss. Hard times! Don’t usually comment but am too going through the grieving process. Lost my best buddy in October, 61, brain aneurysm. No warning, no goodbyes. Bosh! Gone. I can’t stress enough how being out in nature, both wild camping and day hikes, helps. I was struggling but nature, old leaves, new plants, and the greater scheme of things, helps immensely. Nature is key to our wellbeing, I am in no doubt. Just wanted to say thanks for what you do. Your efforts mean a lot to many people. All the best. 🙏🏼
Good to see you back out mate, sorry to hear of your mother passing, yes getting out makes a big difference to how you feel about life, thought the tent was going up there like, atb 👍🙂
Great to see you back out camping Damien and I'm glad you didn't burn your tent down bloody hell mate that was lucky I know you have had a rough time lately with the loss of your mam was good to talk with you the other week mate catch up soon mate and don't forget to get out and do some wildcamping you know it makes sense and once your out it's just what you need atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍🤟
Thanks Jimmy, I was out yesterday at my camp with Christopher for a dad son bonding session and seen 2 cars parked that looked like yours and Roney. Hope you had a good camp and hopefully we will all get out again in the not too distant future, ATB.
@@Fell_Wanderer not us mate we are out tonight found a cracking new location we will have to meet up soon mate sound's like you had a good night out with your boy 😎😎👍👍
@@LundysWildcampBushcraft We had a good time, the usual way in has a couple more fallen trees and its very difficult to get past. We found a slightly better way out and I'm gonna take the bow saw next time and improve an alternative way in/out. I made the teepee bigger and its an excellent communual area if its raining so in the future you and Roney are welcome to use the camp, even if I can't make it there myself. I haven't been watching much RUclips lately but will check your latest videos too see what you've been up to. I plan on doing another camp with Christopher before he goes back to school then I'll let you know when I'm out next. I'm feeling the want to get back out and thats a good thing. Thanks for your support mate, it was really nice to speak to you, hopefully we will be out again soon, ATB.
Great to see you back on RUclips 👍 Really hope we see more of the fair weather wanderer now the spring is here. You know it makes sense 👌Really sorry for your loss RIP mum

The piece and quiet in them places is unbelievable, when you get away from the absolutely mental brain draining cities , the pressure just leaves your body .👍🏻
Sorry to hear about your Mam Damien. You've hit the nail on the head the reason I got into Wildcamping was for the headspace, the time to decompress the stresses of life. Thanks for sharing mate ATB Steven
Glad to see you back on screen, sorry to hear about your Mam I’ve lost mine and it does take the wind out if your sails but the great outdoors is good therapy. Take care
I lost my mojo for a while and felt un-inspired to get out and create new content. It's hard and I know you understand going through the same so thank you for your message.
Great to see you back again, sorry about your mam, lost my mam a year ago this week. Great video and you doing what you do best, love your history videos, combined with wild camping. Your stove just had liquid gas in the tube, hence the big flame, your gas bottle wasn't standing upright. Keep up the good work. Already following Graham bassnet, he's brilliant.
Thank you for the kind words and info, I though the canister would be ok on its side during colder weather as it helps with gas transfer. Cooking on gas is new to me and Its good to know old dogs can still learn new tricks.
Sorry for your loss. Great to see you back out. Must say a huge thanks for your videos around Northumberland as they have been a great inspiration for getting out.
Great to see you back Damien, great video as well.... Tent looks a nice one too! Time is a great healer and so is nature. Be very sure that your mam will be watching over you. Take it easy mate 👍
Good to see you again old friend. Another great video and good company. You inspired me to start backpacking when I first started watching your content 8 years ago!
Its comments like yours that inspire me to get out and make more content. One thing I like about the RUclips community, is we all learn from each other, ATB.
Great to see you out again. Love the videos. Sorry for your loss. I lost my mam a while ago and it's still hard to get on with things. The outdoors is great therapy and thanks to yourself I got out last year for a wild camp in Northumberland and the lakes. Looking forward to more.
I was chuckling to myself when your video uploaded because me n Shaun McWillams were planning a camp at the same place but I did not expect a mention, wow! Thanks very much Damian, had a little jump in my subs tonight, much appreciated. 👍👍👍
You're welcome Graham, its a great place to do a wild camp. I didn't get time to explore it all but there is quite a bit of history there including cup and ring marked stones, ATB.
My condolences about your mother, Lost my father in 2019, and then my best friend which was my father in law in October 2022. Keep doing what your doing, we all love ya fell wander!!! 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
It was cold and I love the history but also planned star lapses and night photography. I was so worn down by the cold and filming though the day, when evening fell, I wanted to stay warm and go to sleep so a lot was missed out but will capture on the next one, thanks for watching.
Great to see you back pal, you’ve been missed 👍 looked like a cracking spot for a WC. Looked cold tho, sorry to hear about your loss, affected me badly when I lost my mum in 2008. Your right about getting out does the world of good. More Tea Vicar 😂👍 ATB Steve
Great to have you back mate! Sorry to hear of the passing of your mam. I’m sure she will be proud of you for building such a wonderful channel by yourself. Also well done for getting back out there and doing your first wild camp this year, here’s to many more. I look forward to tuning in. Take care bud 👍🏼
Brilliant damo absolutely loved this I especially love your editing and filming style it’s a great watch and very enlightening thanks for your time in making them for us ❤ so sorry about your mum mate sending hugs damo x
You should let Graham know you know and I'm sure you will. I get approached about my channel on the street and supermarkets etc.. its nice to get noticed by friends and work mates. I'm sure Graham will appreciate it.
Hi Damian, This takes me back, we used to m. bike up there and it was in my head to camp there too but never knew it was a hanging spot as well! Here’s to many more days of therapy in the wild mate.
I've been there loads of times and never noticed the gibbet until reading about it recently and then looking for it. Some great spots to camp with a stream nearby, ATB.
Another fantastic video there mate, I was down your stomping ground from Inverness to get a motor bike for my wee fellow, looks great am definitely going back 👍
We've been waiting TIIIME for a new vid. Thank you for coming back. Sorry about your Mam....but how proud she would be about people like us waiting for your videos. Take it easy. Big love. Don't stay away too long. X
Nice one bro it looked a great spot to hang out, most likely some kind of low flying insect that hit ya tent if there was no wind. Enjoyed your bit on the history of the area too, sounds like an interesting place back in the day. I felt like poo for a few months when my day passed away but not so much my mum as she had been in a rest home for a few years. Safe travels
Thank you Ken, my dad is now in a nursing home for dementia, its been tough the last couple of years for me but getting out does help and also the lovely comments from viewers.

Hi Geordie, thank you, its been a difficult few months but life goes on and getting back out helps a great deal. You can't go wrong with the cheap gas. Butane doesn't work in very cold conditions so I use the butane - iso butane - propane mix, which is a bit more expensive but still cheaper than the round canisters.
