Here's a good idea, buy a big golf umbrella, push it up through the hole in the top of the shelter and then open it. That should cap off the place lovely 👍

Thank you Graham, I will be doing less videos in Harwood, the forestry have been complaining about wild camping and fire lighting. The police have issued a warning, not me but to someone we know. I won't say to much on here but will tell you when I see you next.

Hopefully your son will enjoy the camping. Christopher's not to keen on the hill camps, its a bit boring for him as he likes to play with knives, axe's, chop wood and make things. I need to do a bivy camp, that's gonna be the next video.

You know its been a good night when you wake up with no memory, a sore arse and a fiver stuffed in your back pocket.
I half expected it to be gone but reckon noone has fount it because its difficult to get there unless you know the route. Christopher reckons stuff has been moved around because I took him 1 week later and he has a good memory. Burnt wood has been moved and I know it wasn't me or Christopher. Nothing has been took so its a bit of a mystery, I still have to listen to another night of audio and edit the latest video. I hope there are some strange sounds as there is deffinitely some weird stuff happening at Harwood forest. There is a better way in and when you want I will let you know incase you want to visit.

I was up there on this week, I landed at winters Gibbet, I couldn't find a decent route in due to all the fallen trees, I headed back east about a mile and went up the forestry rd, had a mooch around but didn't find many suitable slots, it was more a scouting mission than anything. I definitely feels ominous in there.

Brilliant idea with the sticks lighting the fire ....never would have thought of that ...I'm a Geordie in Ozz...heard the yowies cry & stick banging on the trees ....same thing with the tree snaps too.....NSW is lifting with yowie sightings ( big foot etc) ...av nivva lost me Geordie pitmatic accent , doon the road from yee newbiggin ....
I live just a couple of miles from Newbiggin. Must be a big life style change moving to Australia, not sure that would be for me as I would miss my roots too much. ATB.

Been looking at a camp out up there. How far in would you need to be so not to be moved on. No extra terrestrial or Bigfoot activity yet.
My last woodland camp was enjoyable ( company and a couple of beers) But it’s the same for me, a solo camp is so enriching when your immersed in it with no distractions.

It doesn't matter how far in you go but how well hidden you are. I've camped a few meters from the Gibbet road and not been disturbed. Jimmy and Roney have camped a couple of miles in and their camp got discovered. The key is telling no one and keeping away from the walkers paths. I've not seen Bigfoot but have found a couple of foot prints, seen strange wood structures and breaks and have recorded strange sounds on the field recorder. I don't really look anymore, just enjoy the forest and wait for things to happen or come to me.
