    Buddy Rich did triplets like this and he moved the accent note around the kit.

    Your idea may work best for just for a slow warm up practicing and working up muscle memory but a good drummer will know which triplets to use in 4/4 time signatures and which triplets sticking will work best for odd time signatures. Also when played up to speed those double RR/LL hand hits will turn into rolls.

      Yeah for sure.. If you want to get fluent with triplets you definitely shouldn't only learn to do what I've shown in the video. But it's a good stepping stone I've found. Thanks for the contribution!
