    I just made an amazing version of your egg fast ice cream... i replaced the butter with browned butter, upped it to 100g from 60g... nixed the cream cheese, added 6 of the mini glycine scoops and "mixed in" crunchy bacon!!! i also use vanilla extract powder rather than the liquid as i think it tastes better... as usual, your base recipe delivered!

      @@KetogenicWoman I'm a night owl so was my regular night time ;-) SO happy when I see a post from You! You are a delight & though I am dairy free, I can usually easily sub out the small things You use.
      Especially after the couple tips You gave me previously. Now I just sub gelatin for lots of things.
      Made a DEEE-LICIOUS crispy batter coating for oven fried fish fillets (but I think it will work for all meats) from Your tips.
      While oven pre heated to 420° with a foil covered cookie sheet inside, I dried fish fillets, then put on some lemon juice. Used 1/4 c egg white pwdr, 1 T gelatin with old bay, garlic etc for 1st coating. Then into egg stuff. Then into psyllium husks with all the spices. Got them all coated & put 3-4 T of butter flavor coconut oil on the heated pan & then sprayed the top with avocado oil just to make sure they would fry for 10 mins. The turned them over & added another T or two of coconut oil & left for 5-10 more mins depending on fish thickness & type. OH SOOO crunchy keto yummy!! I do well with fiber so I know this may not be good for You. I was SO amazed with the out come!! Reheats perfectly crunchy in air fryer for 5 mins. Have some in freezer & believe they will be amazing fast food ;-)

    Hi Anita, I watched this video but I noticed that the butter coffee didn't look like it totally got mixed through out the entire container, did you happen to catch that and was it in fact mixed, because I would like to try it. It also looked like the creamy from the previous container was on top the inside of the lid and when you spinned it , it appeared that it maybe was added to the coffee creamy? Thanks so much for your time and various videos, I really enjoy your company and recipies. I really love ice cream and am wondering if it is worth getting the Ninja Creamy?

    • @KetogenicWoman
      @KetogenicWoman  2 года назад

      It did spin properly and I will show this weird thing that happens on the next ice cream video. It's almost like an optical illusion, but it's a thin layer of ice that stays in the pint container. When you look at the container from the side it looks like nothing mixed! But it for sure did, so I'll have to demo that because others asked about it as well! And yes, I should have rinsed the blades when I switched over to the next pint but it didn't matter to me if there was ice cream transfer from one flavor to the next. I 100% love my creami! those look awesome. i noticed the containers still show some "layers" on the sides even after spinning 2-3 times. the first two look like all the egg not mixed in and then coffee was layered too. does the leftover refrozen and respun later still do that and is the taste and consistency still the same later? hope that makes sense😊

    • @KetogenicWoman
      @KetogenicWoman  2 года назад +1

      I should have mentioned that and I will on my next ice cream video! It's like an optical illusion. There is a layer of ice(for lack of a better word to describe it!) that seems to retain the original look. When you look at these containers from the side it looks like nothing mixed! But inside it is all good, it's like a layer of 'skin' that stays in place. The 2 ice creams with the 4 eggs, 4 fats, I have not had to respin them, I just leave on the counter for a few minutes and scoop out. The coffee one needs re spinning because of the high water content making it icy (I'm assuming!)

    COCONUT OIL 🥥🥥🥥That does not taste like coconut!🥥🥥🥥
    In any 🇨🇦grocery store… international foods aisle… look for coconut oil that sells for under $4.00 for a 500 ml can or jar!
    When it on sale… say, $2.49 … which is once a year… I buy a case of 24 containers.
    No smell of coconuts, no taste, just pure oil. I fry with it…bake with it. Less expensive than butter if what you are cooking does not require a buttery taste. Or a coconut one!🥥

    @KetogenicWoman. Hi Anita. I made the butter and coconut oil versions but I had some problems I hope you can solve. I didn't know if your tbsp is 15 or 20ml so I guessed 15 ml. That worked out as 20 g for 4 tbsp coconut oil. I used 4 so called large eggs but my volume was significantly less than yours. If I could weigh the eggs it would overcome size difference. I'm in Australia and we are a metric country as is Canada. Would you please give recipes in metric as it would be so much easier. Thanks in advance. Love your videos. Christine.🌺

    • @KetogenicWoman
      @KetogenicWoman  2 месяца назад

      My tbsp just says Tbsp on it, I don't know how many ml that is. When I measure fat like butter or coconut oil I don't weigh it I just measure it but don't forget that grams and ml are 2 different things. Ml is fluid measure and grams are how much it weighs. You mentioned that 4 tbsp coconut oil was 20g. One tbsp butter or coconut oil for that matter weighs 14 grams so that is 112 grams for 4 tbsp not 20g. I hope that helps.

    Hey Anita! Currently doing BBBE and thought yummy butter coffee…do you think one could do this without sweetener but increase the egg yolks and butter for a creamy treat during these hot months?

    • @KetogenicWoman
      @KetogenicWoman  2 года назад +2

      Yes you can! If you are wanting to avoid sweeteners you can sub out the allulose for glycine (a non essential amino acid) and it works. BUT if you are trying to avoid sweet tastes all together, just rely on the butter and egg yolks for their natural sweetness. I have made videos on YT where I've made cheesecakes and birthday cake without sweeteners, those have cream for sweetness. People are skeptical but if you have been avoiding sweeteners for a long time, then these things can actually taste sweet!
