    I really didn't think you could make ice cream like store bought with just butter and eggs (esp when organic heavy cream is $5/pint) but this is AMAZING!!! Thank you! PS I added 2 tbs of collagen and it thickened it up just like the ice cream you buy at the store.

      Yes, sir, ice cream is ultra creamy with the most amazing mouth feel from just butter and eggs! A real gastronomic miracle if you ask me!🥚🧈
      In Canada, 🇨🇦hard to find Grass fed Organic 🥛cream is a whopping 💵THIRTEEN DOLLARS AND FIFTY CENTS 💵a litre/quart! It is not homoginized and so the cream floats to the top! 🍦🍦🍦

    I made this ice cream a few days ago. I used Butter Pecan Sugar-free Syrup. I can say that it tasted like the regular high carb sugared ice cream I used to get at the ice cream store, if not better. I believe it is the best ice cream I have had in my life. I will make it again.

      Gotta watch those sugar free syrups - I know Torani uses a sweetener that isn't sugar but still is not good for you at all!!! Not sure about other brands, but I would research the sweetener your brand uses. It's too bad, because they really seem to have awesome flavors, but the commercial non-sugar sweeteners are often no better than the sugars, just different. :(

I made the base recipe using Allulose and a few drops of stevia glycerite and a little vanilla bean paste. I used pineapple skinny girl syrup and a little orange extract and then when it came to topping it off I decided to use unsweetened organic coconut milk to make it kind of like a piña colada. Thank you so much. First I am not a baker. Lol I am coming off a 7 day master clean and looking to go into the egg fast. I just made the boiled egg version, and smells real eggy. It could be that I let my Vitamix go for to long or maybe two many eggs. I do have the Creami deluxe so instead of four eggs, I used 6. I also added 2 more tablespoons of butter. Any help would be great. I will know tomorrow. My taste buds are forgiving. So I know I’ll eat, and I hate waste. Again, thank you. Imma try your miracle pasta version. I just ordered that today. Ice cream and pasta Alfredo. Yeah😂

      When using the boiled eggs one thing that helps is to peel them the day before and keep in the fridge over night. I think you will find that after this is frozen and spun there won't be an egg smell anymore. Some people are more sensitive to egg smells though and I have to admit that I seem to be oblivious to it!

    Has anyone here tried making the butter/egg ice cream with browned butter? Or would it even be possible to caramelise the butter with allulose?
    I don't want to use any "artificial" flavours but just work with pure vanilla, cacao and coffee, and since caramel is made from butter, I wonder if browned butter would already make the ice cream taste a bit like caramel.
    And has anyone tried using ghee instead of butter?

    • @JazzyMamaInAK
      @JazzyMamaInAK 7 месяцев назад

      I haven't tried it, but you don't need sweetener to make browned butter. You cook the butter until the white solids at the bottom turn golden brown. HTH 😊

    • @ruthbucherer
      @ruthbucherer 2 месяца назад +1

      @@kannstewy Yes, I make caramel sauce all the time with butter, allulose and raw heavy cream. I usually put it in my coffee but can also use it as a topping for my ice cream.
      In my ice cream, I usually use allulose and butter as a base, sometimes as caramel, sometimes not. My newest creation is caramel macchiato (coffee) ice cream.
      For the ice cream I take 60g butter and 60-70g allulose. I simmer it until really dark brown, otherwise the flavour is too mild, especially when I add coffee. I then add a bit of cream and 3 egg yolks (leftovers from making carnivore bread) and usually 2 whole eggs, but starting with mixing the yolks with the caramel. Then I add more cream (about 1,5 dl in total) and the egg whites. Once it's cooled down, I add the coffee (2-3 tsp of instant coffee dissolved in some hot water).
      For the caramel sauce I melt 250 g allulose with 125 g butter and let it simmer until dark brown, then I pour in 250 ml raw heavy cream to cool it down and stop the caramelising process.
      I keep the caramel in two 250ml glass jars which I can take to work.

However, I posted my caution for the people who are not like you or me. In your own video, you say, "you can share it with someone and don't tell them it's for the egg fast - they will never know." If someone were to see this and think that it is a good idea to give it to someone without disclosing the raw eggs - it could be disastrous to someone with a condition where straight raw eggs could sicken or kill them. Did it come out creamy after processing the re-frozen left overs again? With Keto Chow I have to run 2-3 times on light both the first time through and then after re-frozen. The remix did not do much. One time I got little round circles, like those dip dots they use to sell. Still tasted good. Can't be afraid to run it through a whole cycle on light over and over until you get what you want.
