I've never seen so many discussions on the forums about the Chevy radio problems key switch ignition switch and parasitic draw all combined into a never-ending undefinitive resolve. I've spent 4 months now trying to figure out on my 05 Yukon. Parasitic draw. I replaced the radio unplug the radio fuses got a new ignition switch and it's still drains the battery in 15. hours.
Took my 2005 GMC Yukon SLT 5.3L to the shop because the two rear doors and back hatch would lock but not unlock. They replaced a relay on the left dashboard fuse panel and said that it was fixed. They now work, but when driving home, I had no Clock display on my radio. Radio works find but no display. Turned on my heat. Now that had no display either. Blower and heat works. Just no display. Why would I not have a display on my Radio and HVAC units even though they work? Thanks for the help.
Hey man I have an ‘02 avalanche background lights don’t work on radio and climate control also on mirror switch and top two window buttons any idea on fuse location for those?
I have a 2003 GMC Yukon and the dashboard and stereo won't work. They occasionally work but it's very rarely. They are functional but they do not work for some weird reason. Any tips or similar problems to mine?
what would cause the satilite radio to not only stop working but not even available with the band selection switch...Not only stopped working, it appears to not even be available, as though it weren't ever a option of the radio.
I have an 06 GMC Yukon I can hear it I even was able to Bluetooth it at one point but I have a new phone and in order to Bluetooth it to my stereo system aftermarket stereo system of course, I would need to see something on the radio I can't see anything I can't even turn the power on and off but I can tell that it is on I know that it is on but I can't see anything
It was definitely helpful thank you
