is anyone able to do the fix on windows 10? or know anyone whos voicechat works and they play on 10? bc im thinking you legit just have to have 11 to be able to talk which would be pre dumb
yea im still on windows 10 and my chat hasnt been working at all, ive looked up multiple videos and none of them help me fix the problem, my buddys are mostly on crossplay as well, so i cant just talk to them in discord like usual. fuckin blows
im not exatcly sure what my issue was bc i did like 10 fixes that seemingly did nothing at all. but i have a standalone mic and a headset mic and i wanted to use my headset mic but for some reason it would only work if i made it my default device instead of my defult communications device. which makes no sense bc overwatch has an option to use the comms mic instead of default but ykno we dont live in a perfect world lol.

for people who have their mics separate from their headphones look for mics and set your normal mic to you default communication device

Just reset your general and voice chat settings to default and it should fix your issue🤙🏽
