The OP only *asked* if it was embarrassing because it wasn't as normal to get small notes for lunch for 16 year olds than younger kids. The OP never really stated that it was and just asked a question because they were curious. (Not saying getting notes for lunch in highschool is something you SHOULD get embarrassed about, its something unique and I kinda wish I got notes- Though I don't take a lunchbox to school, so.)
Story 3...The OP is a jerk. If that girl has had a traumatic past and now has a nanny that writes her little notes to read at school, it may be to help her cope with anxiety or something. You're right. It does no harm to the OP, and it's actually really sweet IMO.
In the first story. Because of my personality, I would have said “When your child dies, you, your husband and the baby will go to hell. And I’ll be waiting there for your arrival.”
I can't stop laughing OP has the greatest chaotic energy and i love it. "cursing" her baby was just the greatest thing XD I do worry tho how that mother will treat her child thinking they're cursed.
The fact that he said that she should pay the bill and that he MIGHT consider paying her back is the kicker for me. It sounds like a really weird relationship to me. Sounds very petty.
In the first story the lady is definitely the jerk, constantly bugging the poor 17 year Old, throwing a bag and not knowing what is inside the bag? And then finally taking that poor guys seat. I would have already lost it by that point, not only because they were treating the guy like a dog but also basically abusing him that would be the last string for me.
Story #4: its very hard to get an exam rescheduled in college and you have to have a valid reason to even get that consideration and baby sitting your sister's kids is not one of them. I know a friend who didn't write an exam with us and the lecturer refused to reschedule the exam for her even though she had a valid reason for it, she ended up failing the course.
Story4#: the sad part about this story is where the op’s sister just drop off her kids and leave after the op said she couldn’t babysit why can’t she find someone else to babysit like a uncle or aunt and the op should make her pay for babysitting for a week
At first I thought that the first story would be some crazy story about someone who thought they could do magic but it was probably the best story I’ve heard from this channel.
Story 2: No the OP is absolutely not the jerk, everywhere in the world from my experience and from what I've seen/heard/read/whatever the one who made the arrangement or set up any kind of meeting is the one who is going to pay the final bill. If he isn't the one to pay, that is only an act of good will from the other person, even though most of the time if I invited someone and they insisted on paying for everything I would never let them pay. Why, you may ask? BECAUSE THATS HOW IT WORKS(or at least should work)
The airline story is something else. It seemed that couple had no problem not only grabbing the posters personal property but moving it to take the seat away, and had no problem with manhandlling the poster, but couldn't handle having the poster placing his /her hands near them. Loved the way the intimidated one handled it. Brilliant!
Yh man I was thinking along the lines of saying “your baby will wither in your womb”. Gotta live the “I don’t know magic” line though, that’s some great stuff right there.
Last story, I would have looked out the window or the peephole before opening the door and just not answered. She can't leave her kids on a doorstep of an empty house. So she would be forced to take them somewhere else. If OP was asked why they didn't answer the door, just hit them with "I was on campus taking an exam. I said I wasn't able to."
the 3rd story he is both a jerk and not the jerk because he didn’t know her home life but he saw and described how she treated the note smiling taking it out a couple time to read it again so he should have known that she enjoyed the notes and didn’t think it was embarrassing so he should have kept it to himself
I could understand if the sister needed to drop off the kids for an emergency, but she dropped the kids off because she wanted to f**k around with her friends? I'm sorry, but she's a terrible mother and the OP's mother is terrible for siding against the OP.
Honestly, with the 19 yr old babysitting story i get it. I’m in a program where even in finals it makes close to no exceptions unless there’s a huge emergency and even then they’re kind of like “your problem, not mine” in the situation. The 25 yr old sister should have known better because at that point she’s just trying to put the op on the spot instead of understanding the situation.
The Karen saying “it’s proper etiquette to talk to ppl you are sitting next to.” If I was in this situation I probably would’ve responded saying “You know what else is proper etiquette not taking someone else’s seat”. Why did she want the window seats when either the middle seat or aisle seat would likely be better for her bc she doesn’t have to walk as much and it would be easier for her to get to the bathroom. Being able to get to to the bathroom easier is better for a pregnant lady
Story #3, OP is a jerk. I know the feeling of making new friends then one of them questions your decisions or your personal life, it’s intruding and really makes you doubt what you’re doing.
My mum had to go to work at 5am so she left me little notes telling me good morning and things like not to forget my umrella, to take my lunch out the fridge, when she’s going to be home and that she loves me - every single day. I was so happy to see them when I couldn’t see my mum. I collected them in a small wooden box and still have them to this day
@@plantainsame2049 oh sure, but even if they are nice to the kids, they still set a bad example. And that itself could lead to a lot of misery for them.
Don’t know man, back when I was 16 I’d have been embarrassed by getting daily notes, but I think I would have just ignored it if someone told me they were getting them. Op really didn’t do much in the story except give an opinion, so assuming they aren’t leaving something out like teasing the person then I don’t think they were an AH. That said they should probably just apologise and see it they can just both move on, it’s kind of a nothing situation tbh.
Story #4: OP is not a jerk at all! -She handled it very responsibly, putting the children in the hands of a professional childcare giver, giving the daycare all contact info (for herself as well as the mother), picking up the kids as soon as she could, and feeding and taking care of them after her own obligation was met. The women's parents couldn't or wouldn't do it that day... So why, just because OP's young and still in school should she have to do it when she said she, herself had something important to do already? Just because the sister can't think to call a daycare? Hopefully the sister will learn not to take the OP for granted from now on and listen to the actual answer to her requests. Also, it would be really, really appropriate for the sister and their parents to acknowledge how well OP dealt with the situation, given that she wasn't given any choice at all.
You would need to speak Ancient Hebrew or Latin or Althochdeutsch or sum shit like this. I genuenly dont believe in supernatural powers but if some dude startet to chant something in a 1000 years dead language at my child id totally lose my shit
#4 not just a jerk, but an irresponsible parent. she obviously cares so much more about herself & her fun than those kids. if you can't take care of your kids find someone else who wont abandon them the moment fun arises...she needs counseling.
Oh my god🤣 I remember being 17, and a crazy lady damanded for money. My teen smartass told her to get a job or collect from the goverment the child support. She started to curse me out by "God will punish you", "you will be sent to hell" yada yada. Back than I was a huge Charmed and hardrock fan. I had a necklace with the symbol on the book, dark clothes, bracelet with spikes, dark make up, and boots. I pull out my necklace and tell her with a smug: "I am a satanist."
1st story: Not a jerk, the Karen is a jerk. 2nd story: Husband's the jerk, simple. 3rd story: The OP isn't necessarily a jerk, but that was very rude of them to assume. 4th story: The sister is a jerk.
Honestly, if someone does that on a plane, once we're on the air, i would start to punch the person in the face for every yell until i make her or him "sleep".
story 4 - that was a HORRIBLY irresponsible thing to do by the sibling. and the fact that the parents were on HER side just enables her to abandon the kids again whenever she feels like it. what would she have done if OP wasn't actually at home and the door was locked? yell at op for not being home when she was the horrible mother and abandoned the kids?
For the last story, my mom had the same kind of problem and her mom (my grandma) would leave her siblings with her with out warning and no pay. She is the oldest of 8 and she hated doing this and one time she was older (I don’t remember how old) she was going to a new year party with her friends and she heard her parents talking about a party that they were gonna go to and asked who was going to babysit her younger siblings, and her mom said that that thought that she would which made her mad so she said no she can’t. “ But you have to.”Her mom said. My mom responded with “if you can’t pay me to babysit and pay me back for the car rental I am not baby siting.” Immediately her parents plans changed. And that is the story.
ok the plane story was great. if I thought of something like this I would so do it otherwise if there was a way to ask the attendant to give him another seat being he was a kid and those people were noticeably hostile to him I bet that would give him a seat somewhere. the nanny is amazing. putting positive notes in her lunch is great . I also don't think it would be embracing I in fact think it would be a cute little conversation starter with her friends. as for the day care story. the sister is lucky op decided to drop the kids off at day care because op had no obligation to the kids and had the legal right to just call the cops and report the kid's as abandoned and that as some would likely guess could get CPS involved and that would cause more problems for the mom . she may have been mad but doing such an action she should realize it could have gotten worse in so many ways
With the last story the mother of the kids was lucky her sister didn't call the police for child abandonment which would have had a worse outcome that would have involved CPS than just paying for a childcare centre which she was very lucky to be able to get at such short notice.
I feel like the 16 year old who told the other 16 year it was embarrassing was the only jerk in the story, all the other ones are justifiable in my opinion
In the first story when i heard the husband say "Have it your way Walt. So here's how the rest of this is gonna play out. You're gonna sit down in that chair, and listen to me talk" I immediately thought "Wtf, is the husband Mike Ehrmantraut from breaking bad or something" 🤣🤣
1.not the jerk at all your amazing 2.not at all- he should’ve paid he wanted to celebrate 3. Jerk alll the way not a single chance at pity 4.not a jerk op said they couldn’t baby sit and she still leaves the kid and the mom said to “help out when you CAN” and the coudlnt at the moment due to exams
i can just say that when you said, "i just put a curse your baby" was absolutely hilarious! I would tota,ly love to say something like that just for fun with friends, but with a different situation lmao

story 3: yes, THAT'S A PROOF THAT HER NANNY LOVES HER,and saying that's embarrassing, like the op had someone who loves them, that one is a reckless, unmatured, fatherless behavior
Karen: refuses to let the op have seat
The Op I'm about to do what's called a pro gamer move
In the first story. Because of my personality, I would have said “When your child dies, you, your husband and the baby will go to hell. And I’ll be waiting there for your arrival.”
my friend got jumped and pressed charges, she’s 13💀 he definitely could press charges
I can't stop laughing
OP has the greatest chaotic energy and i love it. "cursing" her baby was just the greatest thing XD
I do worry tho how that mother will treat her child thinking they're cursed.
"Did you curse a baby?" I'm sorry, that has to be the weirdest question I've ever seen anyone ask.
BECAUSE THATS HOW IT WORKS(or at least should work)
The dude was like “hey, let’s out to eat! I invite, you pay!” 😂😂😂
I love how you express Karen's voice like that was sweet man.
That first story was a Epic Pro Revenge and no OP WASN’T A JERK
That kid was using the only, and best, tool in his toolbox against two adult bullies. His brain.
It’s crazy how Reddit stories are so interesting
Yeah it is
they got talent to be a story writter lmao
The airline story is something else. It seemed that couple had no problem not only grabbing the posters personal property but moving it to take the seat away, and had no problem with manhandlling the poster, but couldn't handle having the poster placing his /her hands near them. Loved the way the intimidated one handled it. Brilliant!
The nanny one is sooo wholesome I'd honestly smile if somebody told me that
That baby is cursed. It’s cursed by having insane entitled parents.
For the first one NTA , I'd have done worse and said she'd have a miscarriage. It may seem too far but 🤷🏿
Now that’s just mean
@@Really_black_guy ik but people bothering people who don't bother people gets on my nerves and makes my blood boil, bc i am one of those people.
Yh man I was thinking along the lines of saying “your baby will wither in your womb”.
Gotta live the “I don’t know magic” line though, that’s some great stuff right there.
@@wolfengod8277 Yes yes it is.
I would have throw them out of the plane 💀
Last story, I would have looked out the window or the peephole before opening the door and just not answered. She can't leave her kids on a doorstep of an empty house. So she would be forced to take them somewhere else. If OP was asked why they didn't answer the door, just hit them with "I was on campus taking an exam. I said I wasn't able to."
the 3rd story he is both a jerk and not the jerk because he didn’t know her home life but he saw and described how she treated the note smiling taking it out a couple time to read it again so he should have known that she enjoyed the notes and didn’t think it was embarrassing so he should have kept it to himself
but still: bad home life or not it’s extremely rude to tell someone that it’s embarrassing to have someone write notes for you
@@sierra54566 how is it embarrassing
@@atifmehmood3744 i didn't say it was embarrassing. i meant that what o/p said was extremely rude
Nobody should be shamed for being loved
@@sierra54566 sorry thought you were saying that
I could understand if the sister needed to drop off the kids for an emergency, but she dropped the kids off because she wanted to f**k around with her friends?
I'm sorry, but she's a terrible mother and the OP's mother is terrible for siding against the OP.
Honestly, with the 19 yr old babysitting story i get it. I’m in a program where even in finals it makes close to no exceptions unless there’s a huge emergency and even then they’re kind of like “your problem, not mine” in the situation. The 25 yr old sister should have known better because at that point she’s just trying to put the op on the spot instead of understanding the situation.
I've listen to this one episode 27 times, I counted, it never gets old lmao 🤣🤣🤣
With the guy one it seems like he’s wildly insecure about how much money he’s making
I collected them in a small wooden box and still have them to this day
8:19 so basically he really did cursed them instead of the baby 🤣
LoL
Poor baby was already cursed with a Karen for a mother.
@@830927mjki Not necessarily there are multiple breeds of Karen some who are horrible to everyone But some of them are actually good parents probably
@@plantainsame2049 oh sure, but even if they are nice to the kids, they still set a bad example.
And that itself could lead to a lot of misery for them.
The day care one. You could have called the police for her abandoning her children
With the nanny one yes you’re the ah it’s nice not embarrassing I would love it if someone packed my lunch and wrote me nice notes
I agree because when I was in elementary school my mom used to make my lunch and leave a little note inside before she leaves for work
SAME
Don’t know man, back when I was 16 I’d have been embarrassed by getting daily notes, but I think I would have just ignored it if someone told me they were getting them.
Op really didn’t do much in the story except give an opinion, so assuming they aren’t leaving something out like teasing the person then I don’t think they were an AH. That said they should probably just apologise and see it they can just both move on, it’s kind of a nothing situation tbh.
On story 3 I feel for the girl who gets messages in her lunch, I’m in middle school and I still love handwritten notes in my lunch.
The first story was so funny it made me fall off my seat. That woman really believed him like the guy got magic lol
Husband in the first story really thought he was in some movie huh “so here’s how this is gonna play out” ☠️☠️☠️
That was by far the most satisfying ending I've seen for a karen story so far
Story 1: I really liked the “magic” the OP did, if I would be him I would start speaking a different language so it would like magic even more.
You would need to speak Ancient Hebrew or Latin or Althochdeutsch or sum shit like this. I genuenly dont believe in supernatural powers but if some dude startet to chant something in a 1000 years dead language at my child id totally lose my shit
#4 not just a jerk, but an irresponsible parent. she obviously cares so much more about herself & her fun than those kids. if you can't take care of your kids find someone else who wont abandon them the moment fun arises...she needs counseling.
when i hears "step on my laptop" i could feel like someone was taking my spinak cord off
Oh my god🤣
I remember being 17, and a crazy lady damanded for money.
That dude who put a curse on the baby was at LEVEL 100000 Speech/ Illusion! XD
The first story he was not a jerk he chose to be a legend
The op in the story was a beast. I don’t believe in cursing kids, especially unborn kids but that Karen deserved it. So good job dude or dudet
"Would you like to oress charges since you are a minor?"
"Sorry you couldnt press charges because you are a minor"
Great
What if i hit them with the “Ok so can I press charges when I am an adult and have evidence he assulted me?”
With story 4 I would called the police for child abandonment
And that is the story.
story 3 was super cute though someone being happy with something so small is adorable nothing sweet that makes you feel happy is embarrassing
The revenge in the first story made me so happy
ok the plane story was great.
if I thought of something like this I would so do it otherwise if there was a way to ask the attendant to give him another seat being he was a kid and those people were noticeably hostile to him I bet that would give him a seat somewhere.
the nanny is amazing.
putting positive notes in her lunch is great .
The baby does have a curse = that mother and father.
I'd pay for my husband and myself! But, I'd never pay for his family!!!!
Story #1: Genius! Story #2: These two are made for each other!
You can’t just skip college exams and retake them… Definitely don’t think the sister ever went to college.
the amount of satisfaction i got from the first story is just😆😆
I genuinely want to hug Nicole 😭
In the first story when i heard the husband say "Have it your way Walt. So here's how the rest of this is gonna play out. You're gonna sit down in that chair, and listen to me talk" I immediately thought "Wtf, is the husband Mike Ehrmantraut from breaking bad or something" 🤣🤣
1.not the jerk at all your amazing
2.not at all- he should’ve paid he wanted to celebrate
3. Jerk alll the way not a single chance at pity
4.not a jerk op said they couldn’t baby sit and she still leaves the kid and the mom said to “help out when you CAN” and the coudlnt at the moment due to exams
i can just say that when you said, "i just put a curse your baby" was absolutely hilarious! I would tota,ly love to say something like that just for fun with friends, but with a different situation lmao
Story 3 is the only one that I might think OP is the jerk, but even then OP didn’t seem to intentionally try to hurt anyone so
But the person hurt feels it the same and to pick on a shy person who has struggled socially to point of eating lunch in her car is a jerk move. As Hermione says he shows the emotional range of a teaspoon
Funfact: Touching somebody you don't know it a good way to get bitten.
14:18 Yes TA. Let them enjoy this simple little thing! You made them uncomfortable.
Not the jerk
It's Morbin time!
Morbius x minions rise of gru = 7.7 morbgrullion
Karen:🤡
Op:🗿
If the husband makes more money then why couldn’t he pay for them
The wife was the one making more money, the husband was the one that got the bonus
@@signal770 oh my bad
I’d have been kicked off that plane for beating up that woman, pregnant or not no one is an asshole to me for no reason
2nd story... not the jerk for refusing to pay,#3 big time jerk for upsetting her. #4 sister is a B, not just a jerk.
8:17 I am laughing so hard from this 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
