    Rabbit! Cute baby bunny @ 18:45 just adds to the mystical character of this garden. Love the hidden crow's-nest-type perch for the potting table in the back corner! Can't believe this lot is no bigger than Jim's. Thanks to the Landscaper & Homeowner! They obviously love gardening as much as we do. Thanks Jim for sharing this amazing garden!

    Thank you for sharing this garden. I too have a yard that is not level and others make fun of it but I share your interest in different levels and rooms. That is my goal. I think it makes for a much more interesting view.Thank you for the inspiration and encouragement.

    Anyone notice a little gray bunny hopping across the path? This yard is simply a magical place. Wonder how long it took the owner to get it to this point.

    A real gem, my favourite part of the garden is the two stage waterfall. So many plants taking a walk around this garden with every changing plants would be so enjoyable, coffee in hand listening to the water, birds, and of course the little bunny, paradise. Thanks for sharing 👍❤️😊

    This is truly a beauty, I could live just in the yard. This is my goal with my 1/2 acreage space. It is so bare but I have big plans on a frugal budget.

    WOW!! What a lovely garden!! I am trying to do the same thing...but am doing it by myself which is a major drag sometimes!! But it will be worth it in the end!! :-)!! It's great also that you put the names of the plants up on the screen so for those who are beginners watching and starting too set up know what plant is what!! Good video!! Cheers!!

    Thanks for that beautiful tour Jim. So many lovely plants and great hardscaping. I gleened some great ideas from this video as my husband and I are in the process of doing some pathways and sitting areas in our small backyard. We want to incorporate a fire pit and a water feature in it as well. If you have some ideas or tours coming up including these I would be so happy. Again I enjoy all your videos. Thanks😄

    Wow what a garden! So many rooms and more plants than I have ever seen in a yard. It would be nice to work with a landscaper but it is cost prohibitive. The little fairy village was cute. I enjoyed the tour. One can only dream.

      This one is definitely a dream space. Definitely impractical for most to maintain. It is nice that someone is doing it though.

    I agree with the host...I like the odd, asymmetrical shapes and branches because they add so much character. Plus, the owners added their character with the fairy garden and planters and seating. But the highlight of the garden goes to the water feature!!!

      HortTube with Jim Putnam it’s a great way to see a ton of plants in a good size video for sure. Every time I think a plant may fool you, you know it a couple seconds later!

    Love their garden. I have a lot of shade as well. My main battle is keeping all the leaves picked up. I bet they have that same battle.

    Thanks for the tour of this beautiful garden! I got lots of ideas for my own. I planted a paper bush about 2 months ago when it was flowering, had never seen one in person with it's leaves. It is less than two feet tall and has leaves over a foot long! I love it! You introduced it to me in another recent garden tour. Thank you! Zone 7b in Alabama.

    Very neat and orderly "small space"! I can tell the owner had this garden for many years because every inch of space was used wisely! Also great to see what some companion plantings are for the different areas. #takingnotes

    Oh wow, I love the tiered landscaping. Friends in San Francisco did this in their back yard and it made such an impact. You can see everything all in one glance. Best part for me is no mowing!

      I think you would be surprised how small that lot is. 5 feet on one side of the house and maybe 7 on the other. That front bed seems bigger because it's terraced.
