- Sheet metal join in Creo Parametric
In this tutorial, you will learn about sheet metal join in-depth, including all the conditions for designing a sheet metal part in Creo Parametric. During sheet metal design, there are several situations where you cannot create a flange wall directly on an existing sheet metal wall. In such cases, you need to follow another method to add the sheet metal wall. Sheet metal join is one of them. So let's understand sheet metal join in-depth in Creo Parametric.

Excellent demonstration. I haven't used ProE since the early 90's and your videos are a great refresher for the newer Creo interface. Thank you!
Excellent sheet metal tutorial
Thank you Satyendra ji

Thank you
Thanks for your comment.
Real industrial part
Great
Hi sir. very good explanation Thank you
Well explained
super thanku for ur lecture
thanks
Everyone who is having a problem in getting the form right; make the rectangle sketch a lot bigger even if it doesn't feel necessary. Only after that we can get a proper form as shown in the diagram.
I don't know how many of y'all will find this useful. But a beginner like me wasted quite a few minutes trying to figure out what I did wrong.
Sir make more vedios on creo sheet weld plastic ......mold
I used joining process but it's showing error.
the thickness dimension which you give ,is it a random one or its mentioned in the drawing somewhwere?
The thickness is 0.2
@@GregEPIC he gave a thickness of 0.1mm
Sir, where do i get these practice drawings?..And also how do you have the drawing on your left so that you work easily?
Thank you for your efforts sir very helpful
Play this video on 1080p resolution and then take a snapshot. This will be helpful.
I also do Sam step in my iPad I play on 1080p and take screen shot
Need some sheet work blueprints....
I'm getting an adjacent flange while performing a sketch form in Creo 7.0. why is it so?
Take the sketch little out side.
@@CADxTraining I did. It didn't work
While using join tool "feature failed to regenerate" coming . Please clear my doubt. I'm using creo 8.0
Send your part to me.

I am trying to modify the depth of the form
It is converting in to flat, what is the reason?
Reduce the depth. Most there is no enough room to form the depth.
@@CADxTraining I followed the same procedure u did but were it goes wrong?
I followed all your steps but the join command isn't working for me. It keeps saying 'Feature failed to regenerate'.
Driving surface should be in the same side.
The form can't increase above 30 degree.. What is the reason sir
There is not enough room I guess, after 30 degree. Reduce the depth of the form and try.
@@CADxTraining sir,
The same thing is appeared for me also and reduced the depth and tried but i couldn't increase it to 50°
How to delete dimensions in Creo 3.0 10.13

Merge command in not working in my creo, sir
Which version of creo parmetric are you using?
How can get these drawings
In 1080 p resolution take the snapshot of the drawing.
Drawings are not cleared to take screenshots. Please kindly give PDF of all these drawings. @CADX
If you play this video on your laptop and select 1080 p resolution, you can take a clear snapshot.
@@CADxTraining it's not working. I tried on laptop and on mobile also
how do add symmetry
Write down your question in detail. I will reply you asap.
@@CADxTraining thank you for the reply
how to make symmetry for a line in sketch, i mean in this video the first step you have mentioned.
Kind request
Post more videos and help us to guide to understand the Engg drawing.
To make a line, there is a symmetric constraint available inside the sketch in creo parametric
Where is drawing available because drawing is not visible
Play the video in 1080p and check the drawing.
your tutorials are very good to learn but can you add english subtitle to your videos , because it is hard to understand your pronounciate :)
Sorry about that. Which place you belong?
Sir dimensions are not at all visible for practice please show us a snip , so that we can take screenshot
If you play the video in 1080p you can see the dimensions.
Why you draw form sketch extent more than sheet metal .
Can you repeat your question once again in a detailed way?
@@CADxTraining Sir you did not place the form sketch on required sheet metal then why you put it bigger sketch than that?
Can you write the time?
@@CADxTraining time:13:34
Yes you need to draw the sketch little outside otherwise you will not get the required result. You try and see.
