- Let's understand the basics for sheet metal design by designing this part in Creo Parametric
Auto pitch circle PCD for circular pattern
• Auto pitch circle PCD ...
The basic sheet metal design
• Sheet metal tutorials ...
Please make more videos by taking difficult sheet metal drawings. It's really useful one. Thank you.
Very clear, thank you
Hello sir, you deliver such a knowledgeable information through this channel. Keep it up.
Could you please also attach the drawing of these models/sheet metals with an every video for practicing at home???
Thanks sir very useful information
Well explained
Please share the details about how to add flange to the circle ? I can only select half circle only... Not able to select full circle please help
You first select one edge then hold the shift key and then select the other edges.
Hi Sir Its Amazing Tutorial
But Sir Please Tell Me How To add Drawing Image in Left Side which show dimension as well as your part design starting
I Want to say that Cad Image On Left Side And Right Side Your workspace which you want to work For desired Cad Image to make want ....
It's done by video editor. It is not a part of Creo parametric.
Sir I want to download creo kindly help me out
I tried creating the model. Unable to create flange in curved edge, thickness taken 0.1mm for the same outer dimensions as your drawings(tried on separate model with same thickness with larger dimensions it works!). Let me know where i'm going wrong.
Which flange type are you selecting while creating the flange
Hi! I am unable to create flange (of any shape) on the circular edge for joggle flange. Any guesses why?
I am able to do the same operation for a different model but not this one
Using Creo 3.0
Check the radius and flange length.
Sir, you need to slow down and explain better the "Hole" command and how you center it using the "Diameter" placement. I'm using Creo 6.0 and I can't get the angle dimension the way you did. You just moved things around too fast without explaining. I might as well use the Extrude command to make the hole and then use Circular pattern.
First change your placement to diameter and then you will have to drag handles to position the hole. Now move one drag handle to the centre axis and another to the datum plane. You will automatically get the angle dimension for placement.
@@CADxTraining Thanks. I need to learn as fast as possible for the job I just got. It's similar to Solidworks and Inventor, but somehow different. But in general your videos are very helpful 😉
Unable to create flange with joggle for inside circle in Creo 3.0
Just play with the joggle dimensions. You will get it.
How u do the normal ?????? Like when u made a flange and edit the sketch and then normal the view for editing so how u do tht ????
And to delete the dimension??? (Clinking on delt sometime not delt the dimension don't know y
Use "normal to view" option available within the working area.
Hi, Thank you for the Video, I Tried the model but I am facing issue in making a flat pattern due to the circular jogging
Try without the round once
@@CADxTraining If I suppress the round flange the flat pattern is working
@@RailFan92 now play with round value and try. Some time changing the round value also works.
sir how do you predict ""0.2 """value after entering 0.6, while creating joggle.
That is not a fixed value. You can try another value. There is a limit, within that we can take any value.
@@CADxTraining thanks 👍
I am getting a polygon inside circle while extruding, how to get rid of that will u plz assist?
Change your part accuracy
@@CADxTraining thanks it's working
Hi, thank you for the video, When I am drawing circle in a sketch, it's turning out to be in a hexagon. Do i need to make any changes in settings??? Appreciating your support!!
Looks like graphics related problem.
@@CADxTraining this is happening only in sheet metal... It works fine for solid models... Still is it a graphics problem???
@@chetanryadav9924 Go to Options>>Entity Display>>Edge display quality>>Select very high
Sir i am unable to create flange on circular pattern for jiggling, i am using creo 2.0 please give me your solution
Not clear with your question.
@@CADxTraining I couldn't draw the center portion joggle tool.....
You can drag inwards from both the ends.
@CADX dear sir i am not able to create a flat pattern the troubleshooter is giving a waning "highlighted swept flang walls cnnot be unbent" indicating the joggle and the recommended action is: redefine flange wall section or trajectory what can be done to overcome this sir ?
Try reducing the sheet thickness.
@@CADxTraining not able to generate flat pattern sir after reducing thickness from .10 to .05 or 0.01
@@CADxTraining i suppressed once and unsupressed it and now i got flat pattern sir but without the 4 holes if i try with the holes i am unable to get flat pattern sir please help me.out ?
I will suggest you to delete the existing feature and recreate the joggle. Increase the size of circular cutout little bit and check.
Sir how to change part accuracy?
To increase the accuracy, go to file-prepare-model properties and change the value to .0001
I am unable to do joggle operation.
Change the joggle bend radius. Reduce it.
