Love it!! I’m 70 and just learned to quilt 4 yrs ago when my daughter was murdered 😢 and I wanted to make one out of her tshirts for each of her daughters. I’m so totally hooked and now making a quilt for each granddaughter God willing 🙏🏻🤞🏻
Oh .. this makes me so sad ... I am so sorry for your loss ... I am glad you have found a love of quilting .... I hope you find love every time to quilt something and think of her... I am so sorry my friend--- Thank you for sharing with me
Thanx! It’s never easy just go day by day. I thank God for her 2 girls as she was never supposed to be able to have children due to PCOS. And also thank God for the way it played out that my son has full custody 💜
Congratulations on your longarm what an exciting time for you. Thank you for sharing us, so far how it is working and you excitement in learning your new baby 😊 In His Grace Lorisa
I got my longarm and also used Walmart sheets to practice on. Had all kinds of issues especially with tension. Then several people asked if sheets were 100% cotton sheets....no they were cotton/poly blend. So I bought some cheap Walmart 100% cotton fabric, reloaded the machine and problems disappeared.
Very lovely. It is something that suites you well. Just don't any of your friends near by know you have one because then suddenly your quilting orders will increase. Unless that is what you are looking for. However maybe the quilting guild in your community will suddenly ask you to quilt their quilts for them. Who knows will this go. But even if it is used just for your family it is still worth it. Thank you for taking us along and enjoy the rest of your day learning and just being you.
I have a Grace as well and had a job getting the tension worked out. I called grace The wonderful woman who helped me, I am sorry I don't know her name. I used ( compressed air) that I used to use on the computer key boards in the bobbin well the tension disc's and under the needle area. I Clean the wheels with window cleaner after each quilt. I went from eyelashes to reasonable tension. Hope this helps.
I purchased this machine last year with a Continuum Frame from a quilt show and got the 2 foot extension, unfortunately I can only set it up as 10 foot at the moment...I just finally unboxed it this past weekend as we moved last year and my sewing room didn't have space until recently. I have not threaded it yet and plan to do so this weekend. I have leaders on my frame but plan on getting something to make it easier to load my quilts faster for the future. I can't wait to use it.
I am so excited for you! I have a goal to get a long arm machine one day. I cannot wait to see what you are able to do with all this!! Thanks for sharing!
Have you made anymore videos of you and your longarm machine? I just bought a Babylock Gallant and am interested how you are doing. Hope all is well. Love all your videos. Beautiful quilts!
Oh look at your free motion skills Miss April…love your peaks and curves. Looks like fire flames. Love it. Eyelashes on bottom means tension on top is too loose. Ask me how I know. 🤪 loose stitches on top means the bobbin tension is too loose. Can’t wait to see what you create. Fun fun fun. 😍😊
I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee this machine. I'll never afford one and I'm like seriously jealous lol but I loooooooooove it! I watch videos of it and the Moxie (made by a different company) all the time. I'm so happy you got one! Once you get that tension set right it'll be a breeze.
from Gerry- I've been looking at the cutie frame. Did you start there with your own machine? This is quite a large frame. What do you think? Blessings.
Question for you . . . did you get to keep this machine or was it a loaner that made you want to spend money to buy one? I have one sitting here in the box, but I am scared to open it.

Very true! Lol
It looks interesting. I don't have room for one. But, I would love to own one.
I understand
I am slowly moving my husband out and to the garage
Would love to see some video showing what you are doing, like from farther away so I can get a whole vision!
Thanks for the idea!
I'd like to see more videos of you using it now that you've had it for a bit.
it is in the works ... thank you so much!!!

YOU are a lucky lady you have all the toys to make beautiful quilts
Thank you! 😊
Love it, wish I had room for one. Have fun!
I wish I had it in my actual craft room instead of a separate room
This is awesome. I don’t have room for a long arm
I’ve had to break out of the basement and go into a spare bedroom

You’ll get one eventually
I never thought I would
What a game changer
The sheet could be a pretty high stitch count, which might be causing tension issues
Thank you for the suggestion
I’ll look at that
Pretty cool machine. Looks like it sews like buttah.
I love it
Eyelashes mean you need to better control your speed, with the machine. IMO. I could be way off, tho. I have a Grace machine. I love it . 15R
Thanks for the tip!
I appreciate it
❤️
❤️. Thx caren

Love all your videos! Are you making a valentine quilt
I hope to. I need to find some valentine fabric. I have looked but haven’t found something I just LOVE.
April
from Gerry- I've been looking at the cutie frame. Did you start there with your own machine? This is quite a large frame. What do you think? Blessings.
Yes and yes. I love it so far
I’ll let you know once I really get into it
How important is it on this machine that fabric be stretched smooth?
On any longarm, the fabric must be completely smooth and tightish but not too tight
Sooooo important!!! If not you will not get a good result
Question for you . . . did you get to keep this machine or was it a loaner that made you want to spend money to buy one? I have one sitting here in the box, but I am scared to open it.
I wanted one bad and became an ambassador
@@aprilscraftroom I just put mine up today and I’m scared of it. Lol
No fear! It is fabric and thread. You can do it.
April
Is this your first long arm?
No
😍
Hu April
Thank you
You need to change the stitch per minute & yes your going too fast😅
Ok thank you for your help❤️
