Some tips after doing about 4 of these: Use a single thread, don't double up. Makes for a cleaner look without wasting threads. Thread every other loop, half as much stitching work but that depends if you like the finer threading look or not with single loops. Pull it tight as you go along. Lastly remove the sticky backing as you thread, allows for fine adjustments along the way. Take your time, it is tedious but the payoff is awesome. It is the one thing that physically connects you to the car so make it worth it!
How is it under $40 when it costs 50-60? Overall it looks like something you bought off Amazon or could find at Autozone. It looks like a crappy DIy project. Just buy a new wheel.
