Just finished my 1993. Originally it wasn't running but the body and interior was perfect. Anyways I picked up a parts car which had originally retiled for 80 grand back in the early 2000s has a 1995 engine with an eaton m90 supercharger carbon fiber door panels carbon fiber dashboard mono steering wheel and purple racing seats etc. I bought engine bearings a gasket kit timing belt kit water pump oil pump etc. But when it was opened up we realized it had no engine run time. There wasn't a mark in one bearing and there was 0 debris in the oil pckup tube or the oil pan which of my knowledge is unheard of. Good luck and get those oil changes
Having my own n/a fwd 3000, ill gotta tell you, you’ll love it 🙌🏽 got to say it does come with some issues but havin gone through you’re Channel, seems safe to say you’re very well more than capable of any of the issues typical(or not) with the car😂 I mean heck am 17 and damn near disassemble and reassemble the whole dang car twice now😂 can’t wait to stick around and see and learn what someone like you can do to these beauties🙏🏽
@@kwizy_ in the past week I’ve learned a lot. I’ll probably make a full video about it. As of right now. I fricking love this car. I’m pissed because I wasn’t trying to get attached to it.
Got mine two weeks ago! 1992 SL with only one owner(a grandma) and 67k miles and kept under a car cover. It sat for five years tho, and smells a LOT like gas when I turn it on. ECS won’t switch modes either. Sticks and stones compared to possible issues😭😭
Whats crazy I got my 94 SL a week and half ago mine was sitting for 20 years but the guy found it and started to work on it ended up not having time with work and building his other car. Traded coilovers for it so I cant wait to get it up and running this week if all goes according to plan. I came from a f10 535i building that only to stage 2+ unfortunately but definitely looking at turbo conversion kits and single turbo kits. But will hold out til next year. Gonna update the interior and maybe widebody coilover paint job and wheels this year, as that is cheaper than I expected.
I've had my mitsubishi 3000gto for 3 years. Absolutely love it. Every time i go out in her people always ask what car it is. And how beautiful the car is. M256UJH. 😬
Thinking about buying one, but heard maintenance on the car is hard and little information out there, so im wondering if I should get an NA or turbo version
@@manfretcalvo3285 tons but a few short ones I recommend. Make sure the interior is in okay shape. Make sure when and if the timing belt has been replaced. Depending if you’re getting the VR4 or not. Treat it as such. I daily mine which is the N/A. I don’t treat it like a race car. As of now it’s been incredibly reliable
Welcome to the club homie. Take care of her. I kinda like the wheels too.
@@drfirebug I have no reason to change the wheels as well. So far it’s been treating me really good.

@@PoohScooter I did 2 oil changes within the first 48 hours of owning it. I’m due for one November
Ive had 3 dodge stealths. Every generation. And just picked up a 92 5 speed that sat for 10 plus years. Paid $180

Sounds like a win and very easy fixes in my book.

holy shit that sounds like a crazy build.
Hope to keep it down to about the mid 600s to the wheel and be content with it there so I can still daily it.
Not sure if you would be up for 3d printing some of the interior parts. There are some models available on the major 3d model sites.
@@eca7773 I was thinking the exact Sam thing a few hours ago. I keep forgetting I have a 3d printer lol.

how much did you get it for? I bought my ‘93 stealth recently for $1900
