Idk if it’s just me but there’s something so soothing and satisfying when you wrap something and it comes out perfect. Almost therapeutic lol
Speedy Gonz F22 I agree! It’s so frustrating to work with but the end result is worth it 😅
@@justinbuice I wraped the whole Interior trim of my BMW E91 Man it took so long to get it perfect! But the endresult looks amazing
@@jonask.864 This video was almost an hour long before I cut it. And that was just for those two pieces!
@@justinbuice The E90 took like 2 days with 6 hours each day and a lot of swearing! After that i told myself to never do something like that again 😂
Just carbon wrapped my trim pieces and I feel that! The feeling I got after it all went back in and looked good was therapeutic af lol
Sometimes I don’t understand why some videos get dislikes. This is perfect DIY. He showed everything step by step. I did it, it was my first time and it come out perfect. Thanks for the video, bro.
Cuz he showed how to do the easy part and not the more complicated dash piece...
Peanut butter and jealous!!!
Haters
as a guy who does this for a living, i can say, no, its not prefect DIY and this is kinda hard to watch because he makes some decisions that make his wrap harder to accomplish, but hey, he got the job done in the end so no dislike here, but no like either.
Because this is not Carbon Fiber wrapping. This is vinyl wrapping. It's not AT ALL the same. He even wrote CARBON FIBER in uppercase XD. The process has nothing to do with actual CF wrapping, the results looks half as good, and it doesn't add any strength. In the case of dash parts strength doesn't matter, but actual CARBON FIBER wrapping is used a lot to strengthen a part... This video doesn't help whatsoever with that. This is why he gets dislikes.
*alright now we just start wrapping*
When I first started watching your channel I only watched the BMW videos because I own a BMW. Now I watch every single video you upload simply because your content is very educational and entertaining. Even the background music is somewhat soothing. Lol. Great job with the vinyl wrap. Looks stellar! Keep it up the amazing videos Justin!
Joey Williams Thanks! I appreciate that!
Your vids are a level above most RUclipsrs... the way u edit and film is always impressive ... u set your self apart from every vlogger..
You are the most chillest dude ever! Great video my guy! Insane results too! Nicely done.
Sir you performed a flawless job on that wrap. True love for your hobby.
Great instructional video....very inspiring for me to have a go myself....well done and thanks for taking the time, you make the job look very easy! Cheers from Australia..👍🏻
Thanks! Just got my Carbon sheets and had no idea how to apply it. LOVE the video!
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! Great video! It looks so perfect after it has been done and installed. Great job indeed.
Nice job. My 128 got the same carbon wrap and the wife went with a blue brushed metal on her E93. Totally worth the time and frustration.
Those patterns matched up perfectly... 👌🏽
I was relieved when I saw how they looked in the car lol
This is really helpful video .. no black loud music in the back ground no posing no high fives and no B/S just a good information and good video on how to do this step by step
100% brilliant 👏 👌
Hope that's not your wife's hair dryer 😊
Awesome job! Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Damn...you nailed that line up with the pattern!
Excellent job J-Boogie 👏🏾🔥💯

NIce work! Thanks for sharing. I am ready to give it a go!
Perfect fit. You make it look so easy. I try to wrap my chest freezer. the idea is great but it's full of creases. I'll try it again again and add heat. Thanks for the tips.

Hey Justin! Thanks for the video! c:
hocsi 😎
Really awesome video, please consider showing in detail how you handle the inside radii on the radio trim.
Dope! It came out really nice bro.
Juan Moreno thanks!
Nice work!
Still one of the cleanest 86s around dude. That video was satisfying to watch!
Bilal Ehsan thank you!
Looks dope 👍
thanks just want i was looking for on wrapping thanks
again
Looked perfect! 👍
Marshall Fox 🙏🏻
Nice, thanks for the video 👍
I went with actual carbon on my interior. Had wrap prior. 10x better for sure. Olm makes some good options for skin overs
I'm kind of surprised that I don't see more people use some windex to help position the carbon fiber rap.
It helps a lot and as you're using the hair dryer it will dry it as you're forming it around the radiused edges and corners and it gives you a little bit of 'slip&wiggle' to work with also.
Great Job 4r4r
Looks great!
Thank you!
Great video 👌
Thank you for doing that for me! ♥️ It came out perfect!
illestprincess no problem! Much better than before :)
What do you drive?
I’m looking to do this with the bezel along my grill. Do you think the 3M would hold up well with some clear coat on it? My idea is to apply a few coats, then wet sand and buff it. Trying to have it look as close to the real thing as possible.
Awesome video😁
Respect from Serbia bro❤
deja thanks!! 🙏🏻
I never expected to find a comment from a fellow Serbian on this channel
Uroš S. Pozdrav od crnogorca
Love the Channel amazing content 👍🏻👍🏻
valentin evaristo thank you!
At first I thought no way this will look good and by the end well just WOW 🤩
Maybe it’s a big side hustle for the people that don’t have your skills. Cool skateboard ending I bet you end up with more concrete Parker’s for you and your friends! I’m too old but it would be fun to watch! Thanks for the video
Looks awesome :)
love your vids man ! i actually also wrapped the interior trim of my e90 in carbon fiber
Ian awesome!
Looks great. I did my interior on my E92, turned out really nice.
Ron Engert awesome!
Looks dope
Looks really good. 👌🏼
monge mrxcvi thank you!
I’m tempted to do this to my Neon
Thanks!
that turned out awesome, this is what I want to do to my ‘22 Model 3 😎 to get rid of the faux wood look
Looks great! I think I'm going to try to wrap the hood of my truck cuz it looks the clear coat is about to start failing. It's 15 years old and I really don't want to repaint it. Thanks for the great video.
AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Was hoping to see how you dealt with the window on the 2nd piece. When you make relief cut at each corner how do you keep the cuts from being visible? Obviously you want to keep your cuts on back side so they're not seen, but wondering if the material wraps well enough to do this?.
Thanks very much
Really clean wrap there bro
Thank you!
Nice job.
Nice! I like it
Nice thanks
Matt carbon vinyl isn't my thing, just looks like the book covers we had when I was young. I would've wraped it in 4D gloss carbon, but to each their thing. Also are you guys going to change the rear F1 fog light style light to an LED one?
Nice man. Wearing the dunks too 🔥
Alan Luna my favorite 🔥
You better not kick any of the neighborhood kids out when you find them doing rail slides haha good work on that wrap.
You’re an inspiration mate
Damn that came out looking clean 👌
Thanks!!
Serious question.. This would be my first time doing something like this should I buy the kit and do it myself or is it that difficult? Thanks!
can we get a year update video? i would love to see how it held up thru the last year!!
:))
it's 3M heat gunned on. it'll probably take something thermal nuclear to get it to start peeling. haaa jk
I used ordinary eBay matte blue vinyl on my 2009 crv. This little square piece you cannlift off that's on the top. Anyway l wrapped it without proper preparation like wiping it with alcohol etc. Just normal wiping it clear of dust. Then wrapping it. First time as experiment and that piece gets full sun exposure everyday. 2years later it's holding on pretty nice and clean. My point is. Imagine if it was top quality adhesive vinyl or had proper preparation. I'd imagine it'd hold on good for at least double the time. The colour was same as first day as well. So anyone can do it and with practice you could get professional looks even on the more complicated parts you're doing. Hope that gave you abit of an idea.
Thx🙌🏽
Nice ride..
dude this is great! my interior is starting to look a bit dated on my civic, even though the dashboard itself looks pretty modern. Going to try this soon :D
same here 2010 interior for the civic ex looks outdated
That’s a banger for $55...... I’m officially on the hunt!!
That’s cool we’ll done
Great video Justin. Do you have plans for a steering wheel wrap too? That would bring it home.
