- After the UK government announced the third national lockdown we found ourselves yet again with lots of time on our hands. Rather than feeling sad for not being able to travel we decided to make good use of this time and concentrate on some much needed renovations.
We are happy to help and answer any questions of anyone who's starting their own van conversion! Please comment your questions and tips below :)

♒︎ WHO ARE WE?
We are Gabe and Paula (Pau). We bought our van at the beginning of the year with the idea of converting it during the weekends. But then, because of the global pandemic that has changed all our lives we suddenly found ourselves with a lot of time on our hands! After finishing at the beginning of August we started our epic journey to Spain to see Paula's family.

Nice work guys! In ancient Greece they used to swell the wood before using it in their vans so when it shrunk it wasn't too big of an issue.

🤞we can all travel again soon...even if it's just within the UK. Scotland would be a really good first trip. I went up between the lockdowns and it's the best time in a van.
Yeah fingers crossed! Scotland is high up on our list as is Wales😊

Maybe you could of put some insulation behind the clashing on the backdoors...
We do have on one side, but not on the other as we were worried about interfering with the door mechanism

Yep😂 We had to buy a dehumidifier but it's something we definitely want to talk about in the future.
I don’t know the law and regulations for having the gas container without a sealed compartment in the UK but here in Sweden it’s a must and for the safety it’s recommended to have it. I can see you have the vent down to the floor but is it enough?
Hey guys! great content you guys are putting here! I have a question in relation to your insurance. which insurance are you using? I have a full EU drive license and I was planning to go 3/4 months to Europe, but the quotes I am getting are crazy expensive ( 2000£ plus)! Please can you advise me somewhere I should start?

Hey guys, great video! I just had a question about the cladding you guys used. I have seen some review of cladding online that says they shrink and split the paint. Have you had any experience with this and which shop did you get the cladding from? Dom, UK.
Hey Dom! Thanks for the comment. We got our cladding from Wickes. It's not the strongest wood but it's very flexible and it does the job. After about 6 months there was a little bit of warping which was easily fixed with a couple of screws😁
