I love that you used her hair for insulation in the van. That's recycling to the highest degree😉. All joking aside, great job! I admire your perseverance and wish you all the best.
@@gabeandpau2243 Awesome build, love the video!!! Got some questions if you don't mind! Did you get an electrician in to do it, or check it over at the end? I second that that seems to be the most daunting to me. P.s. careful with those gas stoves, do you have a good carbon monoxide detector and good ventilation when cooking? I saw you have that huge fan, maybe thats good enough? I'd still cook with doors open :) When we do ours, I'm hoping to put our stove at the back so you could potentially slide it out to the outside of the van when cooking. Btw, with those mattress slats, a lot of sweat etc will escape from the mattress (Just put one flat on the floor for a couple of weeks and watch the mould grow), any concern that that might be an issue with all those electrics underneath?
One of the best insulation jobs I have seen done DIY. I imagine the effects of it are extremely noticeable, especially in very hot climates and direct sun. Nice work! You've got me considering DIY instead of going to a builder.
Hi, Thank you for making and posting these videos...I have watched three of them so far and I am hooked! My wife and I really want to convert a van in the future and love looking at others going through the process and getting ideas and of course costs, and what you would want to change/make different...which you have covered in your other videos! Brilliant! We look forward to going through the other videos that you have made! Fantastic! Inspiring! Can't wait to watch more! Michelle and Andy.
Wonderful workmanship and harmony between the two of you! Really enjoyed watching, I thought for a minute you weren't going to get it finished watching the little red line on the bottom of the video! Well done!

Thanks for the video. Just one thing would have liked to see the finished article with the bed down. Or are you sleeping singles either side of the table?????
Huh? You wrote "No previous experience" ?? What a fantastic job you both did! I'm a Mechanical Engr so I count myself as qualified to say so. Everything seemed to be done with skill & logic. Don't worry about all the indecisions along the way as you do a "Design-Build" project. I'm impressed. Have fun! 😁😁😁
Looked great and I was very impressed but do you think that you added a significant amount of weight? Could you have found maybe something at certain areas like the overhead compartments to lessen the work of your suspension? And is that something that you will customize as well? Using a heavier shock or spring will help with control while driving. Just an idea..looks good..
You guys have a clear mind and golden hands! By the way, did you use ready-made drawings for all stages of work? If yes, where can it be fined? Thank you!
