haha yes I see what you mean! Just replayed it to have a look. In his defence, he was in the doorway to light up out of the wind and he is immediately stepping out into the plaza. really enjoyed the review, I lived in Dublin for almost a year but didnt have the chance to travel around by train. I really loved living in Ireland and hope to have a chance in the future to move back, Limmerick is my top choice
Yes, I do prefer those 22000 seats to the strange ones in the Dublin/Cork 1st class. And blue windows? Still makes no sense to me! Thanks for watching 👍
@@JohnnyHooverTravels No problem thank you for the brilliant videos and I hope you enjoyed your time in Ireland. Yep just a normal Giettle razor haha, washed, moisturized my face and brushed my teeth too while I as at it haha.
Haha! I think there's a compliment in there somewhere 😀 Tbh, I had recorded the on-train announcements, so it did give me a clue. I'm not usually that lucky!
Yes, you can select your seat when booking. I used the Irish Rail app (on iPhone) when booking. I'm sure if you booked at a ticket office they could also give you your preferred seat.

@10:44 - the absolute epitome of smoker attitudes. No smoking signs clearly displayed and the smoker proceeds to light up.

Great video, really well filmed! Still living in hope that Iarnród Eireann will re-introduce on-board catering sometime, even just the trolley...!
Thank you for the kind comment.
Yes, it feels like at least a trolley would be handy on a journey of that distance.
I believe it’s an issue with getting staff for the Trolleys and catering is the issue unfortunately
Oh well. That is a tougher issue to fix. Still, it would be nice...
Thanks for the information 👍
