    thanks for all you guys do. well I inculcated 10 logs ladt winter and their starting to button. I did 45 logs this winter and their in hibernation. I hope they do well. this year I waxed the ends of all my logs. last year I did not. not sure if it matters or not. I have 3 restaurants who are gonna buy them from me. so I'm excited. again thanks so much and I will be ordering more spawn from you this winter.

    Hi, Does it matter what type of wood/tree is used .And how often do you soak your logs ? thanks..

    I have ordered sawdust spawn from 2 different places and have never seen it all white like shown at 3:40. At best there were some chunks of mycelium or some on the wood chips. The videos for all these places that sell spawn always show these nice fully colonized bags. Haven't seen one yet, but I have not tried this company. I wonder if they are any different.

      I ordered the dowels for shitaki. they were full of spawn. very happy customer here. I am gonna try the sawdust spawn this winter.
