Queen Elizabeth II’s 4 children have given her 8 grandchildren. While her children were the first generation of royals to have their lives laid bare for public scrutiny, her grandchildren grew up in the limelight and have a better handle on it. The Queen’s children and their scandals nearly brought about the downfall of the monarchy. But the next generation has brought a resurgence in its popularity as young royals aim to position themselves as more genuine and down to earth, despite having a monarch for a grandmummy. Not the case for us. My first is the star of every show. She does theater and ballet and she thinks everyone is her friend. My second is more stubborn, quiet and her dream is to be an astronaut.

It’s traditional for an heir and a spare
The royal family must always produce an heir and a spare in the rare case that the heir has an accident or incident where they are killed then the spare is the back up to keep the royal line going!

I think it's safe to say losing your mother, Then having to walk behind the casket of your mother for the world to see. Is equally traumatizing for both brothers. They were both kids. It wasn't different because harry was younger. They are 2 years apart. William wasn't exactly looking to retire when his mother died. Everyone handles grief differently. I've always seen commentary how harry suffered so much with the loss of his mother. Only because he's been more out spoken about it doesn't mean William wasn't didn't suffer just the same.

In chinese culture, children often walk behind their parents coffin during the ceremony. What makes Prince Harry's case more traumatic is, the whole world is seeing, and during Princess Diana's, there were just too many mourners who cried loudly and shouted her name I'm sure, making it worse and unforgettable.

There is a photo of them together (at a wedding I think) back in the early 1990s. It was well reported in the press back in the 1990s that they didnt get along, they had arguments over who copied each other in terms of clothes, hairstyle etc, Sophie was fed up of unfavourable comparisons to Diana and Diana was jealous of Sophie receiving favourable treatment by the Queen.

Personally, I'm having fun just learning about the various tiaras worn by the women for their weddings 😍 but I am also liking to find out about the "minor royals" as well 😊 I also find it ironic that Edward was considered to be the most irrelevant of the Queen's children and somewhat of a joke, yet he is the one with the strongest and happiest marriage and having the closest family with his wife and children.

Plenty of people can be for the monarchy in general and not like the royals or be aware of all their history and bs. But frankly royals seem far more stable since their literal heads are on the line if they screw up. Whereas modern politicians etc can get away with murder and live luxuriously freely and without consequence while also doing very little if anything for their countries and people. I much prefer a modern monarchy to any sort of system with the crown at its head even if its just a figurehead.

Me too and especially letting them customize as personalize the dress. When I saw the dress I was like “ awe she got her dress made like her grandma coronation dress” but with few changes. Now I find out it was the Queen’s and the tiara.

Sad, weird, interesting. Whilst before monarchs were struggling to produce an heir, but here heir’s aren’t a problem at all. Then again incest, sicknesses, sort of stopped that, as well as the monarchy doesn’t have much control as before.
Also another thing I want to mention is queen Elizabeth is old enough to see her GREAT grandchildren, that’s something I would like to see when I get older ( I just hope not in the wrong way )

I like the idea of it, but it was not fitted to her. It is not her fault, it is designer's. And I did not like her hairstyle. However, her bandeau and veil were stunning. She looked much better in the second dress.
Meghan’s dress was simple and lovely. I much prefer it to Kate’s fussy, gaudy monstrosity.
When I first saw it, I didn’t like Meghan’s wedding dress, but it’s really grown on me since then. Simple but very nice.
All of the dresses were nice except that GAWDY one of Diana's. Looks like it was made with bedsheets and pillow cases! LOL.

Wonderful reflex of all grandchildren's lives, values and standing in hyerarchy, good review of great grandchildren's births, names and standing, it gives an explicit overall look of the royal family lines.

They may be royals, public persons but. they are entitled to a private life. I'm happy for Harry, he found his peace with Megan, like his brother found his with Kate. And at the beginning Kate also struggle with Tabloids and hate, but for Megan they were vicious.

You got the date wrong for Prince Edward's daughter. You said 2013, but she was born 2003, I love your videos! I've watched the Queen Victoria ones several times and was excited to find this one.

In this it’s still a must for men and women if you’re a Royalty, specially the heir to the throne weather if they wanted or not, and I think this applies to every country has kings and queens, so the Royal family continue and will not face lack of heirs, it’s good that it’s not what is used to be when every had to give birth to many children, now you can have the children you want, but still it’s a must to have an heir, Japan faces lack of male heirs and they have now only two males to have the throne in the future, prince hisahito will have it hard to produce an heris

@@user-cv7cg4no2x yes they have children, but most of the time (now) a woman (or man if shes a queen) knows that they will be having kids one day when they are married. I'm sure this conversation came up with William and Kate at one point when they were still dating. Also its not as bad as it once was either, like you said. Kids don't die so easily as they did long ago + lots of places that still have a monarchy have changed the rules of male heirs before female. I know some places are still like olden days but what i'm saying is given time they will one day change some rules and become more in the now.

It sounds like all the Royal Children have done a wonderful job with their children, this has to be a hard life but having parents, giving them as normal of a life makes them more easier to see them in a beautiful light.
