I am 75 years old an American female and when I grew up everyone follow these rules. it was considered good manners and our parents would allow nothing less. I think Society would be greatly improved if we went back to the days of good manners. I did not come from a wealthy family so if you are thinking that you are wrong. perhaps, the United States could implement manners month... much less important things get a month so why not manners?

I'm 62 and an American male and many of the things in this video applied to our family growing up in New England and I too am far from ever having been wealthy. Clothing and appearance in particular were strictly regulated. It was not until the early 1970's when everything turned to crap and nobody cared what you wore.
I teach my child the same rules my parents and grandparents instilled in me. They're called manners and respect. It's sad that the younger millennials as well as so many of the GenZ have no manners and no respect; not even for themselves!!!

I spent a lot of time, teaching my 4 kiddos. I taught them table manners, showing courtesy to others, Especially, I showed them restaurant politeness, treating the server, kindly, speaking to any server with courtesy. Also, when traveling by air, to be very courteous to flight attendants along with people you don't know who are seated next to them. My kiddos resisted, didn't see the value in what I was teaching them. They thank me, now.
It hard to find a godly woman like you who are willing to educate their kids 24/7. Many parents leave it to school educators to "toilet train" their adolescent. I was teaching these kids. Believe me they were a handful. Be encourage, you will reap good wheat once you instill daily respon- sibilities in their growing years.
@@ageeibc6029 There are more parents who love & teach their children well, than it seems at times. It's mostly the ones who don't, that make the evening news.
Well said. It’s mainly left to others to teach their kids and this can include wiping their bums when they go to the toilet. Modern parents just see that it’s up to others not them. The number of times I see young mums/dads on public transport who are looking at their mobiles while the kid’s sat in the push chair. There’s no interaction between the parent and child. Really? I don't think it's that special. Unless you never had the opportunity to take a foreign language class in school, most people know some foreign language to an extent. I'm American and have been here my whole life and everyone I know has had to take a foreign language since at least 6th grade and well into high school and then again in undergrad (I was in school in the very early 90s and took Spanish from 3rd-11th grade and my elementary school was Title 1). Most of my friends speak another language, they may not be 100% fluent, but definitely can have a conversation with someone in another language or can read another. It's not that special. I learn ASL on my own and sign with my co-workers and some friends (I'm a SPED teacher so i use it to help my students who are nonverbal plus I'm also losing my hearing so it's giving me a leg up for when I no longer can hear) and study Latin in my free time. Knowing multiple languages is cool though. We do also need to decide what the true definition of "fluency" is. I mean, American children are still not "fluent" in English. They are still learning yet that is/will be their native language. We can then talk about dialect and regions. There are words and phrases throughout America (and I'm sure in other countries, as well) that people in other parts of the country do not know or don't say. I'm from the north and have heard phrases that I never knew existed before until I visited the south. Makes you think how one can truly be 100% fluent.
I grew up with some of these rules, sitting at the table , dress code etc. No harm done . I then taught them to my children and often had compliments how well behaved my children were. I could take them to restaurants, vist people etc. You start young and main constant. My children also learnt how to make their own beds , clean at around 9, I would include them to help from early on, spray bottle of water, wet cloth, they were very happy. Better than sat in front of tv, or as nowadays an IPad. Children do actually need rules , guidance. It’s our job to raise them so they can go into the world and contribute not hinder.

@@JCfunnyShorts No. not at all. That's the fun of being born into the royal family. I pray to God that may I be born into the Royal family in my next life and will happily oblige to the draconian rules.
This was very interesting. The whole “no coddling” and sending the children to boarding school, when they’re still young, makes me really sad, as snuggling with my kids was the best part of raising children. Everyone is losing out in that situation… especially the children. 😢
And yet no rich person is brought up on charges of child abandonment who dump their kids in boarding school especially in another country so they can't easily come back home
Coddling is different to cuddling. Coddling is being overly sensitive with a child - rushing over to them when they have fallen gently on the floor. From what you see of Kate, William and even Charles, the children get plenty of cuddles
I believe all three of the Wales children will happily participate in all aspects of royal life. Their parents are teaching them wonderful lessons about their roles and they are growing up with love and respect for their country and its citizens. That family is wonderful. ❤️🇬🇧
I will never dream of disrespecting my grandparents by not having basic manners. Blue collar raised in the American south, I still say no and thank you mam/sir even to those younger. I like seeing children get excited being adressed as an adult. Holding doors and picking up after ones self. Respecting staff of anywhere, especially service jobs. Basic manners and respect of others should never be sacrificed for individual selfishness.

Not all family’s are civilised unfortunately, some don’t teach their children how to behave in public as their only interested in their own lives, I was in a coffee shop and a mother was on her phone while her children ran about and screamed grandmother just couldn’t careless as well…..
I am 50+ and most of these manners applicable to us were strictly adhered too and we did the same with our children who are appreciated as excellent kids... feel proud of them boils down to my mothers upbringing of us and we know 4 languages read, write and speak 👍 thank you mum...
It is a wonder that you are not a queen or some king's advisor, knowing so many languages, you only work for pennies. Wasted money and time to learn languages.

I'm an American mother & my husband & I both teach our kids a lot of the same rules. I'll never understand those who go to the store in their pajamas, slippers & hair cap or allow their children to do it. The level of self respect has slipped below par here. It's embarrassing.
sensory issues, maybe? i freaking hate social norms. WOULD YOU BE MAD IF SOMEONE WENT TO THE STORE IN A FULL BALLGOWN? Sometimes pajamas are easier to tolerate than regular clothes. I know you're a good person. But why is it wrong to go to the store in pajamas?
Monopoly isn't banned as such. Apparently the Queen got sick of everyone arguing when playing at Christmas time so she said no more Monopoly! I imagine they can play if they really want to - just not in front of the Queen!

In Asia people bow as a mark of respect when greeting somone , young people bow to their elders out of respect , once upon a time a gentleman took off his hat out of respect when greeting a lady , It's not just royals who do it .
We say old tradition die hard. It sad that today youngsters no long know the meaning of respects. That's Y there are lots of problems as many are materialistic & some are lazy & expect their aging parents to continue working while these 30's stay home & play games. It's a world gaming pandemic. Many old aging parents have no choice but continue to work & provide shelter for these LAZY bums.
I'm asian and I do bow when I greet. I feel awkward actually shaking hands, especially to elders or professionals or authorities. I was actually taught to bow to the drivers when they let me cross the road. However I'm not familiar with dining etiquette at all because I only know chopsticks etiquettes. Also some countries' etiquettes contradict. I don't look at people's eyes when I talk, especially to the elders. I don't ask how people are doing because it's not appropriate unless the person shares about anything. I don't compliment others unless the person's way younger, because one should be higher at the hierarchy to judge someone. Those are hard to change even if I try to remain conscious, and that has resulted in people thinking I'm poorly educated when I go to other countries. Anyway it's always good to have good manners but there are culture differences. Also at places where have rigid rules of manners, the social collective pressure is always high. For example, people sleep on the street at night because you have to over-drinking to please your boss; gender inequality/discrimination is super serious because of the traditional "manners". There are always two sides of a coin.
I grew up with the same rules and so have my children. And they are raising their children the same. My parents did have it easy in that they never had to combat cell phones, social media or the internet, when raising their kids.
As long as the kids have an understanding as to why they cannot keep gifts given to them by the public I don't see a problem with it. The Royal Family has safety restrictions for a reason (not keeping gifts from strangers, being required to attend private school, etc.). Also, being required to give certain gifts to charity will teach the kids to be gracious and value giving over receiving.

With Hazzard and Archie in line of succession it will obviously mean an extremely cruel, lying, vile, vicious and very controlling MegaLiar being the boss of anyone in her family assuming the throne. @Bessie Hillum There was a rule that no more than one generation in line of inheritance should travel together in order to protect the line of succession. If William and his family were to die together, in an aeroplane accident for example, Harry would be replace him in line of succession. The rule used to be callously referred to in the press as William and Harry being " the heir and the spare"
But "NO CUDDLE RULES" for kids is SICKENING! Children needs hugs and kisses from their parents. Humans are created to be social loving beings. And we naturally seek physical love with our parents. Now I'm talking "normal" hugs, kuddling up together or hugs when sick or sad. Everyone needs to feel loved not just by words but by action. Like Princess Diana. She raised her boys with lots and lots of hugs and kisses. But then again, she lived the whole world. God bless her memory!

I think the RF are glad that he’s no longer in the UK so he can live his life however he wants without bringing shame and embarrassment on the RF.
I love George, Charlotte and Louis. They are clever, beautiful and so polite. With parents like they have in William and Kate, it is obvious that they are wonderful children!
You know they are clever how? Certainly haven’t got that off their parents or the rest of the family. I have never heard such rubbish. Do Americans really believe this? Waity Katey trendy. Oh please. She dresses in good clothes but certainly not trendy
Some of these rules were in use when I grew up and I’m very happy to say they have made me easily fit into most situations. My adult children also got rules instilled into them when small sadly the younger generations seem to have left quite a bit behind.
My parents had it easy. We were naturally well behaved without anyone teaching us to be. I think we read a lot of books as toddlers all the way to children from Enid Blyton, Ronald Dahl, Nancy Drew, all the fairytales, Miss Sunshine series, just tons and reading the right books I think naturally created civilised kids in us. In public not once did we ever misbehave. We were taught to have fun writing by starting our own diaries in Mickey Mouse padlock diaries. We had a lot of time to play and had toys. We were surrounded a lot with Art, music and Ballet and dance videos too. Andrew Lloyd Webber as well. Art is great for kids. All this I think balances out a child but for Royals probably more rules and etiquette to follow.
Naturally well behaved - is there such a thing? I think you were probably set excellent examples by wonderful family members around you so that you would not consider acting any other way. It sounds like your life was so full of love and joy, why would you ever feel the need to be negative? You are probably more of an example of great parenting than you know. Obviously, just my opinion.

The no coddle rule. That's one I don't like. It does create a sense of independence in a child. That isn't always good. I seem cold to others and others don't like that. It's not my intention. It does come off the wrong way. I've tried to change it and everyone is too unique in their beliefs on that kind of affection. It is my instinct to hug when someone needs comforting. That's when my cold demeanor changes.
I completely agree, cuddling your child is a must if a parent wants to raise emotionally well adjusted children. I love hugs and give them anytime that I can.
I think they were talking about parents that hover over their kids. They call them Helicopter parents. Coddling is different than cuddling. Cuddling is good!

The video just said shorts are for only boys and I considered royals to be modest. I deslike one of the videos uploaded, in the thumbnail they kept her back while she was wearing shorts. The idea of the Earl of Mountbatten teaching Prince Charles his version of manliness to anyone is weird. What does it matter? If the branch is inclined it will bend when the wind blows. What royals rarely have is the ability to adult. So much is done for them that if they had to survive in the real world, they would be neophytes at age 21. I appreciate the pleasant manners knowing which silverware to use at dinner, but knowing how to cook, clean, pay bills, do the shopping and put petrol in the car are all pretty useful skills.
You do realize each of these people run charities, manage estates, run businesses, etc? The ceremonial duties in photographs aren’t all they do. Don’t judge the whole family by Henry & Rachel.
Louis is pronounced Loowee. Also ,at Royal functions, if the Queen is not present, then when the most senior Royal finishes eating and puts down their cutlery everyone puts down their cutlery. This announces that the meal is finished and the plates can be removed.
A lot of parents work full time and some have 2nd jobs. The economy is terrible. I taught high school special education and preschool. I’ve seen parents who take the teachers as their child’s babysitter. I’ve actually have seen a parent who got upset when they were called to pick up their sick child. Teachers put up with a lot with both, parents and children. Now days, lots of parents don’t spend quality time with their children. They don’t take the time to teach manners and respect. A lot don’t even show concern for their children. If their child doesn’t know how to do something, they blame their teachers. I’ve had a parent yell at me because their child was failing. This child never did any work. This parent never checked the daily progress folder that we sent home. We tried calling but phone service was turned off. It was sad. Child had no manners and an I don’t care attitude. I finally got in touch with mother and she yelled at me, blaming me for her child failing. I set her straight. It’s sad when parents don’t want to be responsible for their children. I see children as gifts of miracles. 💜💕❤️
Most of these rules do not apply strictly as everyone can see in certain occations. One of the most important rules not told in this video is "no nichnames". But many people know that Prince William is called "Wombat" and the little prince George is always called "PG" by his friends at school. Within the family he is called "Tips", even in public.
I’m confused. Are you saying they can’t have nicknames? They all have nicknames, and most of us know them. Even her majesty, Queen Elizabeth, had a very famous nickname.
I absolutely hate the thought of staying in my nightclothes in the day, I can not think of anything worse, you get up, you clean your teeth, comb your hair, wash your face, have breakfast and get dressed for the day. If I am in my nightclothes it is because I am ill and I hate being ill so why would I want to stay in my pyjamas? Yes, by all means dress for your day, sweat pants for housework, gardening or playing with the children but please don't stay in your nightclothes!
My father was of English heritage and his mother made him follow the short pants rule. He was glad when he could finally have long pants. I thought that was a funny rule when he told me.
I have read very good examples of rules and guidelines here today. My Baba had 13 children and every one of the 9 boys and 4 girls..every one said please and thank you. Doors were opened by the man.. the house and family were shared jobs. And never ever ever did a boy show up to take one of the girls out and sit in the car and honk the horn. That girl had to have a gentleman come to the door. But always with much respect. Thanks ladies!
Monopoly was banned in my home too. I was also strick about clothing. They also learned how to sit and eat in any situation. You never know what your children will encounter. The manners have served them well. Multi-course meals on many occasions, they always knew what spoon or fork to use. This has served them well. My family wasn't wealthy but better then comfortable. I was taught the same way. One memory is a skirt s bit too tight, my Dad asked how much it cost, couldn't remember. He gave me 20dollats and took the skirt. It disappeared. He had a way of being sure things were appropriate. I see nothing wrong with this. In fact it made me any now adult children comfortable in any situation.
My parents started teaching me manners at a very early age! My Dad once told me that others out in public were impressed with how polite I was at such a young age!

I’m 69 and totally agree. Our parents took time to teach us manners and etiquette. Parents don’t bother with that any more. It’s one of the problems kids have now. They have no self control.
Actually not all royals have strict dress codes it's really only the line of succession. An example, Princess Anne's children and grandchildren can wear regular clothing and whatever they like, but prince William etc must stick to the strict rules.

Some of these "rules" aren't actually so. They have worn relaxed clothing, either when participating in sport, etc. Princess Di was seen in workout pants and took her kids to MacDonalds. Apparently King George used to get in Fish and Chips when the girls were younger and at home, and Princess Margaret was seen wearing a tiara before being married.
I believe those workout pictures of Diana were after her divorce. No you will not see Williams children running around in a pair of little blue jeans and barefooted like Harry’s children get to do, all the while laughing and playing!
All of the royals wear casual clothing - even Queen an Elizabeth did. I love the photos of her tearing around Balmiral in her Range Rover with her sensible shoes and scarf on her head. Just not during ceremonial duties.
At least Will and Kate show their kids love just like Diana. Diana snubbed the rule of only one heir can fly she took William with them when they came to Australia
I'm 41 and grew up with similar rules a For etiquette. I taught my children those same manners. I still teach the younger children in my husband's family these manners. I have dinner parties for justtge children that starts with tea. The kids love it. I have formal family dinners every Tuesday. I cook the meals and make the desserts. My husband's mother used to have Sunday dinners and the family had to be dressed in suits and elegant dresses at least tea length no cocktail dresses. I explained to my nieces and nephews that if they wish to invite friends to our tea parties or dinner parties that they must be well behaved and dress at least in slacks and dress shirts/ tea length or floor length dresses. I had one mother complain. She heard the menu and she said my son can't eat that fancy food. I said I'm sorry I can't eat fast food. I have allergies and food insensitivities. She wanted me to just cook boxed Mac and cheese and frozen bagged burgers. I can't eat either. Alot of those bargain burgers contain soy products as does the Mac and cheese along with preservatives. All of which gives me a nasty stomach ache. The meal she complained about was roast duck stuffed with apples and bread stuffing, on top of mashed turnips and potatoes, sweet peas, with a duck gravy. A salad of grapes, cranberries, baby spinach, arugula, romaine lettuce, carrots, and cherry tomatoes. Then petite fours and Lady fingers with chocolate fondue and fruits and cheeses. I made a ginger ale punch with orange juice, mango puree, peach puree, strawberry puree pineapple juice and pineapple slices.
They do dress casually. Catherine and William have both been photographed in jeans. They just don’t go around looking sloppy or unkempt. And Louis is pronounced Lou-ee, not Lewis. How does anyone not know that by now?
I'm pretty sure they said 'coddle' not cuddle. In other words they aren't overbearing which helps then gain independence as the video says in that bit. I'm sure they hug their children
George looks like Kate. Get your eyes fixed. Charlotte looks like William, who looks like Charles, who looks like the Queen. Harry took after his mother Diana. You can tell primarily by the shape of the nose and face. Kate’s nose is wider than William’s.

Odd to ask but what do they do with the gifts that they do not accept from people? Also, England is pretty cold especially in winter so I am surprised the boys always have to wear shorts. ( unless i am mistaken)

@@marzipanshepherdess9190 I wore shorts trousers until I was 11 then "graduated" to long trousers when I went up to secondary school. "Upper crust" has nothing to do with it. All boys wore shorts, and if they were not tall, perhaps wore them until they were 13 or so.

America is the only country that if you speak more than 1 language youre special
😂😂😂😂
Or an immigrant.
I know 3 language fluently and can understand 5 languages
I can speak Spanish fluently
I only started learning the Spanish language in January 2022

And yet no rich person is brought up on charges of child abandonment who dump their kids in boarding school especially in another country so they can't easily come back home

It's not just royals who do it .
I can remember my Father raising his hat when greeting a lady, and I remember other men doing it in our circle of friends it was normal my
We say old tradition die hard.
Ive also noticed older people are addressed as auntie or uncle.
Who said that only royals bow as a mark of respect.
None of these rules are unreasonable. It would be nice if more people had good taste.
I grew up with the same rules and so have my children.
And they are raising their children the same.
My parents did have it easy in that they never had to combat cell phones, social media or the internet, when raising their kids.
Imagine that a small child is offered a toy but is not allowed to keep it, so right after they get the lovely toy It is just taken away from them
As long as the kids have an understanding as to why they cannot keep gifts given to them by the public I don't see a problem with it. The Royal Family has safety restrictions for a reason (not keeping gifts from strangers, being required to attend private school, etc.). Also, being required to give certain gifts to charity will teach the kids to be gracious and value giving over receiving.

Caitlin Gill. They'de be whooshed away to a distant island probabley.Queen Victoria had a disabled son who nobody was allowed to see.Theyre not very good at showing the real truth.Understandably it tarnishes the image and makes them more human.
They won't allow that.they will be forced to marry they will be banned most likely. The rf think ppl don't see through their bs
Prince Charles is bi , prince Andrew is anybody’s prince Edward is sweet ,I don’t think testosterone runs strongly in Windsor blood . The idea of the Earl of Mountbatten teaching Prince Charles his version of manliness to anyone is weird. What does it matter? If the branch is inclined it will bend when the wind blows. It’s character that counts . Little Louis is very like his uncle Andrew but plenty of time to teach him morals.I don’t think Andrew or Edward are Philips offspring.the one that most resembles him is Anne. So we speak of well behaved children??? Wait 20 years.
The Queen often wore beautiful loud colors in her clothes and hats.
Louis has a mind of his own already and my favorite. Manners are good and language’s but other I would be another Harry, see you across the pond!
Imagine that a small child is offered a toy but is not allowed to keep it, so right after they get the lovely toy It is just taken away from them
Louis is pronounced Loowee. Also ,at Royal functions, if the Queen is not present, then when the most senior Royal finishes eating and puts down their cutlery everyone puts down their cutlery. This announces that the meal is finished and the plates can be removed.
Prince George, Princess Charlotte , and Prince Louis are the likely one’s to stick with royal life ❤ and they do have good nurturing parent’s ❤
CATHERINE WILL BE THE PERFECT QUEEN!!!CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HER IN QUEEN SPOT!!!!IM SURE HER MOTHER IN-LAW PREPARED HER PERFECTLY 🥰 💞. YOU GO GIRL!!!!!
She's a self-centered attention seeking baby machine that's all she is
Her mother in law died 1997.
And this "rule" would hardly be applicable in countries with a harsher climate, especially if you are not taken from door to door by car.
Little Louie is already showing he’s going to be a “spark”. Full of zest and vinegar 🎉😂
Air travel is MORE DANGEROUS these days than it's ever been
I have read very good examples of rules and guidelines here today. I’m 72 and my collection of relatives was large…our parents were raised that way and so were all the kids and we have managed to survive.I raised my kids and helped with my grandsons..I raised them by the old rules. But always with much respect. Thanks ladies!
The thing is.... I have manners, but I am laughed at because I have "too many"???
Exactly what is evil about monopoly. I’ve played it 1000 times and I’m a polite well dressed law abiding citizen.
My parents started teaching me manners at a very early age! My Dad once told me that others out in public were impressed with how polite I was at such a young age!
God assigned men to be the priest of every family and to teach the wife and children all about the Word of God. Did he do that, or just pass on a few manners?
Now, they just hear how attractive they are….and are financially indulged.
I think they ALL will follow in the traditions of the royals.
I wholeheartedly believe Harry would’ve as well if not for the way his wife is being treated. Good on him for being his own man.♥️
Many people supported Harry and Meghan,,until Harry turned Modern day Judas, betraying his family for $$$$$$$.because Meghan said so.they tried to ruin the Monachy but it backfired.Meghan is the most hatred person in the world.people love Harry still ,they dont want to see him as a puppet.
I think that all these rules are ridiculous, especially on kids. Seriously, no garlic??? Garlic is extremely important for a good health. No cuddle? How sad…
They don't eat garlic only if they have important public events to avoid bad breath.
@@qwertz666 That’s not what I heard, garlic was forbidden in general.
I don't eat garlic and there is nothing wrong with my health.
@@hedaheda1609 It’s a pity, because it is an excellent remedy for a lot of things. Maybe one day, you will need it.

I’m sure the rules aren’t difficult many seem responsible and having structured discipline helps make strong life choices
Why is it "cute" then when Prince Louis pokes out his tongue.
@@teresagordon6138 Because it's Prince Louis. If anyone else behaved like that, many would be outraged. Such is human nature. If they like someone, then they forgive him/her a lot (or even everything).
The rule never announce when you’re going to the bathroom reminds me of my son, once when he was little we had people over for dinner when suddenly over the Google speakers he announced that he pooped, because he needed to be wiped 🤣🤣🤣
Lol that's hilarious.
😉😉😉😉😅😅🤣🤣🤣🤣💯💯👏👏👏👌👌👌
Lol !
My son always left the bathroom with his pants down to his socks. I don’t know why, but he never failed to do this.
@@debbieschultz9768 mine does this too, only because he feels the need to talk about nothing important. I try to tell him “don’t leave the bathroom until you pulled up your pants, flush the toilet, & washed & dried your hands”, not much luck 🤣
Prince Harry's daughter Lilibet looks so much like the Queen Mother: Elizabeth Angela Marguerite Bowes-Lyon, aka "The smiling Duchess". The Queen mother was very beautiful when young. Lilibet has her round face, cute nose, and porcelain skin. She did get Prince Harry's beautiful ginger hair.
Just put a little English bright pink suit & hat, and you're seeing the Queen Mother.
Lilibet is Extremely Beautiful! She is truly Royalty indeed. 👑 It's in her blood line.
Victoria Romero It's a pity her parents are so greedy and un-royal.
And apart from all that, Lilibet does have Meghan’s lips and eyes. Comparing Lilibet to Meghan as an adult now, you won’t see it. But if you compare Lilibet to the baby photos of when Meghan was 1 year old, you do see the resemblance
No daughter
I’m 69 and totally agree. Our parents took time to teach us manners and etiquette. Parents don’t bother with that any more. It’s one of the problems kids have now. They have no self control.
They don't have toys ? They Have castles to play hide & seek ... Magnificent gardens, parties & Horses 🐎
it not toys
Actually not all royals have strict dress codes it's really only the line of succession. An example, Princess Anne's children and grandchildren can wear regular clothing and whatever they like, but prince William etc must stick to the strict rules.
Princess Anne's children are untitled and are not working royals so the dress code doesn't apply the same to them.
Aside from the shorts, the Wales children wear regular clothes all the time. If they were in a crowd of kids you’d have a hard time picking them out.
H
Actually, the kids can where anything when they are not infant of the camera or citizen eye! Kate Middleton wears jeans and so does charlotte when at home.
Fact check for @TheThings Celebrity -- Whether or not you bow or curtsey depends on *your own* gender, not the gender of the royal person to whom you're extending said bow or curtsey.
In India children don't even need tuitions for multiple languages 😂😂🤌
Tell that to the millions of starving children there.
Too bad they are not world languages. India languages are localized, so the result is the same: might as well say they know one.
Bilingualism and multilingualism are a world norm not an exception
Feed the children take care of India’s people they’re gods children to I’m sure they pay their taxes royalty beginning to turn my back on royalty when I understand that children need food and hospitalization medical care what is royalty doing for these people in India
@@maxineschneider4221 excuse me we are not colonised anymore why royal family should do something for us and fyi they are the one who exploits us so we don't even need them
So basically they have no say so in their own lives. I see why Princess Diana, and Prince Harry and Meghan was so happy to get away from that cult.
I admire some of the rules like giving away presents one might not need. That is kind. Also not gossiping about politics in public. Very nice. I do hope they have an emotional outlet to let off some steam.
Princess Margaret being born a Princess could wear a tiara before marriage.
There was a time when these applied to everyone. I wish it still did.
I'm 41 and grew up with similar rules a
For etiquette.
Sounds delicious!!
@Meister House why I'm 41 years old ? Or are you saying you don't have the attention span to read more?
What a wonderful menu. And I love the idea of getting dressed up as well.
They do dress casually. Catherine and William have both been photographed in jeans. They just don’t go around looking sloppy or unkempt. And Louis is pronounced Lou-ee, not Lewis. How does anyone not know that by now?
All children needs to be cuddled I don't care if they are royalty
They are cuddled I’m English and I see royals cuddling their kids their is videos of queen cuddling her kids! This video is stupid ‘
I'm pretty sure they said 'coddle' not cuddle. In other words they aren't overbearing which helps then gain independence as the video says in that bit. I'm sure they hug their children
I love how George looks like Diana’s brother.
George looks like Kate. Get your eyes fixed. Charlotte looks like William, who looks like Charles, who looks like the Queen. Harry took after his mother Diana. You can tell primarily by the shape of the nose and face. Kate’s nose is wider than William’s.

These kids are beyond well mannered-I hope they have a chance to be a kid too.
It has been well-reported that they do.
Actually Balmoral and Sandringham (as well as Windsor) are owned by the Royal family*, the other properties you mentioned may be lived in by the Royals but are owned by the government
*= technically the Crown Estate (corp) owns all of land and property the Royal family actually possesses
Monopoly is not played in our house as well. It has been cause of many arguments lolo
the monopoly arguments get so heated
Some of my favorite memories with my dad was the family all night Monopoly games. I now collect the different versions of them.
My boyfriend almost broke u with me when my move stopped him getting house's on Trafalgar Square lol.
I refuse to let any form of Monopoly in my house. I hate that game with a purple passion, so I’m good with this rule if theirs.
No childhood with no toys is hard for children
No because they has sit aside learn how because Queen and kings
They do have toys, it’s all the gifts ( toys) they receive they aren’t allowed to keep! I’m sure they donate them to ones that need them, just because they probably have enough! I’m feeling we’d all do the same, I hope the kids of the Royals at times are able to see the smiles on other children’s faces of receiving the gifts! That is so valuable, especially these days.

Odd to ask but what do they do with the gifts that they do not accept from people? Also, England is pretty cold especially in winter so I am surprised the boys always have to wear shorts. ( unless i am mistaken)
I believe that the toys are given to charities. And yes, "graduating" from shorts to long pants is a "rite of passage" for upper-crust boys. The cold has little to do with it - custom rules here!
Joanne Eve.Its a weird rule.Theres a pic of George some years ago in the snow in Poland in shorts.A bit ridiculous.
@@marzipanshepherdess9190 I wore shorts trousers until I was 11 then "graduated" to long trousers when I went up to secondary school. "Upper crust" has nothing to do with it. All boys wore shorts, and if they were not tall, perhaps wore them until they were 13 or so.

I agree
I agree, but wonder why the Cambridge kids are studying Spanish, since they probably have more opportunities for contact with speakers of French and German than of Spain. The only reason I can come up with is that it is a much easier language to learn because its rules are a lot more regular.
