One step away from being King, Prince William surely has his feet in the right spot. But what will happen to Princess Charlotte when her father does ascend to the higher chair? Born May 2nd 2015, Charlotte Elizabeth Diana is a member of the British royal family. She is the second child and only daughter of Prince William and Catherine, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Several landmarks were illuminated pink to mark her birth, she’s in love with olives and she’s an amazing girl.
Currently, she is fourth in the line of succession to the throne after her grandfather, father, and elder brother but can she hold this position? It’s nothing new for the royal family members to change titles but the question is, where exactly does that put Charlotte? She is known as a smart, funny and responsible child that no doubt holds potential regardless of a future title or not. She may most likely become Princess Royal but other outcomes can be expected in the 21st Century.
As the world changes and grows, so does tradition and hopefully it makes it easier for the upcoming generations. Even so, we’re sure that Princess Charlotte will be just fine but let us know in the comments section what you think. Will she really become an historical Princess Royal or something even greater? Princess Charlotte is the spitting image of her Granny and is absolutely adorable with a true sense of herself. Love the way she very subtly corrects her older and younger brothers regarding their social etiquette during the Jubilee. ~ Hands off the railing, boys, and pay attention ~ the crowds are watching, and you need to behave properly! ~ ~ I love the way that the boys complied instantly upon her correction, without any back talk or argument. I think she already knows how to wield some power, much like her dear, sweet Granny!

No she isn't. I don't know why some of you keep saying that. Have you even looked at pictures of the queen when she was that age? They have a different face shape, different eyes, different nose, different chin. The only thing that you might say is similar is their smile. But that's it. I would hardly call that a "spitting image". Maybe you don't know what that term means, but it means that they look EXACTLY alike. And they most definitely do not. What do you get out of saying something like this?

Even at this young age, it is evident that Charlotte embraces her “royalness”. She will be great!!!! I know through what I have read that she is close to the queen and wanted to stay with the queen when she wasn’t getting out much or during Covid vs. going to an event with the rest of her family. Her heart is already full of love!!!

It appears she’s doing just fine, enjoying a happy and loving family life. Those kids seems very content and well loved. Growing up in any extended community (church, ethnic, sport, etc) there are rules, protocol, and basic good manners and etiquette to follow...so this in many ways seems like a bigger version of that, with enormous privilege and some limitations to go along with that privilege. It’s normal for children to be well behaved in public and at proper events (in church, at weddings, at formal events, in school, etc), so everyone saying they are robots, etc is just over the top. Will and Kate are doing a phenomenal job!

The title Princess Royal is given until the person dies. Charlotte cannot use the title Princess Royal until after Princess Anne dies and then it has to be given to her.

Prince William has said that he wants to keep William in ignorance of his position in the line of succession for as long as he can.......he found it very difficult to cope with being told. He vows he’s going to deal with his children’s futures very differently to his own experience. Harry his brother used to be naughty and when he was told to apologise for something, he said ‘No, I’m not going to be King’. That was when he was quite young, I think. Obviously they both suffered from early expectations that affected them in a lasting way. Maybe there is no perfect way to deal with the importance of the heir overshadowing his siblings.
Princess Margaret suffered this way. As children she and Elizabeth we known by the household as P1 and P2.

William & Catherine are modern parents & with William so much like his wonderful Mother, I can see them sitting down with him & discussing his schooling. It would be lovely for him to follow his schooling like William. He seems to like Eton then ST Andrews, where he was able to do his schooling without the paps following his every move. I think William really enjoyed that from a private view but we shall have to wait some time to see.

Princess Anne is the Princess Royal because she is the eldest female child of Elizabeth. It doesn't mean that when she dies, Charlotte will automatically become the Princess Royal. It's a title her father can bestow upon her when he becomes King, if he wants to.

They appear to be introducing them to working royal duties now where they can watch their parents and be given advice that will help them in years to come. These children seem to be well behaved as well as full of personality. We have Diana to thank for that.
