- Once upon a time, becoming a princess sound like a dream come true, but what does it actually mean to be a princess today? Well, being part of the British Royal family comes with a whole lot of rules and protocols you’re required to follow as a working member. Sure, there are tiaras, royal balls and state dinners, but those dinners have their own set of rules that probably won't even cross your mind when you’re hanging out with your family in public.
A lot of the rules revolve around the Queen being the first, the first to stand or sit, the first to eat and speak. As a royal, you are required to follow her lead, so no walking in front of the Queen, no eating after Her Majesty is finished. The Queen even has a say on wedding dress choices for royal brides and which family members can travel with who. But there are other rules that the other members of the royal family are required to adhere to on their own and have also become part of royal tradition. Such as how to sit properly as a Royal, words to use in public, and keeping their coats on in public. Though some of these rules are a little crazy-strict, it’s no surprise when they are broken occasionally.

@@bryonyclohessy8105 trooping of the colours. Meamie is standing in front of hazmat; as the national anthem begins, she turns to talk to hazmat, he corrects her, but she does it again. By then; the royal outcast has picked up on the small discussion. When hazmat tells Meamie for the last time; it’s almost like she stomped her feet - it’s always about Meamie. Her response could’ve been, “I don’t know the royal protocol and the Anthem.” I’m sorry Meamie; isn’t it flag etiquette to face the flag and sing the anthem(we do that here too)even children behave.
Princess Catherine and Duchess Sophie were both offered to help Meamie, but she had Hazmat 🥱🥱😴🙄if one person can bring down the entire British monarchy, it will be Meamie

I know that the rules that are very strict but are there you do not have to rent if you work there and you get paid while the queen owns your room and rent is not the cheapest so its no the worst.
Imagine having to follow all those rules, ill'd mess up so much.

Who actually cares, all they report is whom wears what. No one can live by all their rules, that's why they smoke and drink so much, and look older than their years.. Like my freedom and can go when or where I want. To each it's own, if you're interested in their lives.

@@ZoomRaze - it must have changed recently, , even though the queen discouraged by banning it, her sister Margaret, smoked 60 cigarettes a day. There we're other royals that smoked; Harry, and Fergie ..They all have quit since then.
