300 was one of the best engines Ford or anybody ever built. They should still be making them. These Onan/Ford units are what kept the cable TV on the air during power outages when I worked for the cable company.

Do you have any troubleshooting knowledge of this gen and engine setup? We have one runs on propane runs about 30 seconds shuts off put new coil on it no luck?

How did you convert it? I'm working on one now. And can't find out how to convert it. Or a kit for it. Is there a orfice I have to swap or flip?
I have an onan 30kw genset 1982, I've also been trying to find out how to change over from natural to propane. I also need a hood and radiator

S Whitaker never sold it as the original buyer backed out. I have it here if someone wants it - $1500 - or I will turn it into a sawmill powerplant.
