Vince Gill has a great voice and he's one of the best guitarist on the planet. He can play anything with strings, for the most part.
Dudes got one of the smoothest voices in country music
Another great song is “Go Rest High On That Mountain” that Vince Gill sings.
Vince’s hits are MANY! Vince is currently touring with The Eagles as part of the band.
Besides his beautiful distinctive voice, he is a master guitarist.
Check out “go rest high on that mountain” its one of his most beautiful and iconic songs🌹
Never heard this before but it makes me think of my Ma. She died last year and there wasn't one person left in the world who loves me. I miss her so much. My best friend. Loneliness has been terrible. Ha. Come to think of it she loved Vince Gill's voice!
Whenever You Come Around by Vince Gill is a gorgeous song. Also so is, When I Call Your Name, The Heart Won't Lie. But If you want a heart breaking song Pretty Little Adriana it's about a girl who was innocent and was gun down. Vince wrote the song for her.
Whenever you come around is my favorite!!!!
" When I Call Your Name" gets me everytime.... Saw him years ago when he was with Pure Prarie League.. and after he went Solo..Great Musician and Vocalist..
I'll add one more request for Go Rest High.
That instrument is a pedal steel guitar. It's difficult as hell to play but is so rewarding. They are known for sounding similar to crying or wailing in grief.
He wrote a song for his brother when he died Go Rest High On That Mountain that is unbelievable. And that instrument is a steel guitar very country
He started the song when Keith Whitley died but put it up. Then when his brother died took it out and finished it.
Listen to Vince sing “When I Call Your Name. “. That will give you chills and make you cry.
Just found you guys! I love that you’ll listen to everything with an open mind!
Saw him in concert when I was in high school and man was it a great concert :) his stage presence was overwhelming
Vince has an amazing tenor voice! Check out "When I Call Your Name"
That instrument is called the steel guitar.
He's touring with the Eagles currently (at least the last time I looked!).
The song is about loving someone so much and when you are away from them really understanding what it means to lonely. It was inspired by him missing his new daughter when he was was playing in Europe when she was young, or maybe even new born. He “never knew lonely” at that level.
That instrument you like is called the steel guitar
I love Vince Gill, one of my favorites is Whenever You Come Around and Go Rest High On That Mountain.
You should react to Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon and Garfunkle
Vince has the purest tenor voice in music and phenomenal guitarist
He has such a pure voice. And a guitar master man.
Vince Gill has a voice as smooth as butter!
My favorite songs from the incomparable Vince Gill are I Still Believe In You, Tryin’ To Get Over You, Whenever You Come Around, Say Hello, Look At Us, Don’t Let Our Love Start Slipping Away, One More Last Chance, and The Heart Won’t Lie (duet with Reba McEntire). I sure hope you react to these amazing songs. Thank you!
This is the funniest reaction video I’ve seen 😂 you a vibe brother 💯 keep it up & this is a good track🔥
Listen to Vince Gill on “I still believe in you” amazingly beautiful. Also, listen to Tim McGraw saying “please remember me”. It’ll tear your heart out. You guys rock!
he is also amazing as a ‘member’ of the Eagles....i saw them & was best concert ever.
This is why he is a legend
This song is so sad it’ll make a player cry. Your reactions are so funny man
This song always gets to me it was playing on the radio when I went to the hospital because I was having premature labor at 5 months. It was a still born baby girl I named her Sarah Ann. You should hear Go Rest High On the Mountain. But 2019 Christmas at Ryman Auditorium. He added a third and final verse his reason was he felt it was not complete. That last verse was excellent
Oh😂 your reactions are the BEST!!!
You HAVE TO LISTEN TO...Go Rest On That Mountain! Written about his brother that died young!!
Pedal guitar cries perfectly.
Yes, definitely! You have to hear Vince sing Go Rest High on That Mountain. It punches you in the heart so hard it comes out your eyes.
Play the video Vince Gill and Alison Krauss (Go Rest High On The Mountain)
He wrote it for his brother who died.
Brad Paisley and Alison Krauss video (whiskey Lullaby)
These are popular videos
Along with CARRIE Underwood
He Actually Started Writing Go Rest High On That Mountain, When The Late Great Keith Whitley Passed, & Finished It When Vince's Brother Passed, It Originally Was Done With Vince Gill, Patty Loveless & Ricky Skaggs
One of the best in contemporary country!
Listen to 'Believe' by Brooks and Dunn!
Oh I love Vince Gill. And I love this song. Beautiful beautiful voice. Listen closely for the emotion in his voice.
Yeah, Vince brought another to cross over he is an amazing singer and I love all his songs. Thanks for sharing.
Ali
Humboldt Ca.😊
Two of his best songs are When I Call Your Name and I Still Believe in You. His voice is amazing as is his guitar playing. A good example of that is Oklahoma Borderline. He can sing some fast ones too.
Listen to Vince Gill - High on that Mountain. And Faith Hill - there will come a day. These will touch a huge audience.
Vince Gill - I still believe in you.
Close your eyes and get lost with Vince. Seen him a couple times in concert. Oklahoma boy.
One of my fave country singers
Such a beautiful voice.
It was the steel guitar playing
Eclectic taste in music is wonderful. I have everything from Big Band to todays hits. All genres, styles etc going in my car! Love how you try new things!!
He was lead singer of the "Pure Prairie League" (Aimee, Let me Love You Tonight") when he was 17. I recommend those songs for a review by you guys.
He was 22 when first with PPL. It was 1979 and he was born in 1957. He wasn’t with PPL when they recorded Aimee, but he was lead on Let me Love You Tonight.
My mom’s favorite singer
Thanks buddy
Please listen to Reba. “The Nigh the Lights Went Out in Georgia”
It is a great story telling song. At Christmas time I suggest “Christmas Guest” told/sung by Reba.
The BEST Vince Gill song is "If You Ever Have Forever In Mind" - the violins, piano, guitar, his voice - just outrageously sexy and powerful. Slow dance to this with your baby and things will get, uh, interesting.
You know what happens when you play this backwards? Your wife comes back, your dog comes home and you get your job back.
lol....too soon....
XD!!!
Backwards by Rascal Flatts 🤣
The instrument you liked is called a "pedal steel guitar"....not to be confused with a basic "steel guitar" or "lap steel" that has no knee levers or pedals that allow the player to change notes on individual strings independently with their legs and feet...as with the pedal steel guitar. The lap steel is also called a Hawaiian steel guitar too...
Vince Gill is, and will always be, one of the best musicians of all time. He is a country musician, but his talent goes way past the genre. His live voice and guitar playing sounds like its the best take on a studio recording session - virtually flawless.
George Jones, arguably the best country singer ever even claimed that Vince Gill was the best...
The man deserves the mad respect
Vince is a great storyteller...change things up, react to his clip “First time my dad met Dolly Parton”
Check it out: Vince Gill & Barbra Streisand, “If You Ever Leave Me”. Smoooooth. Two heavenly voices together.
Haunted Heart by Sammy Kershaw.
Because of your tornado comments I have to recommend Blown Away by Carrie Underwood
Probably a storm coming in Okie Land. My brother in law went to high school with him.
Galveston! Original version. Glenn Campbell!
I suggest Peter & Gordon world without love to react to.
Native American coming out in his voice.
How many Vince Gill fans kept groaning every time he stopped the song? LOL. I know, I know, you're giving us your reaction to the music and lyrics, but I hope -- at least on your and your brother's personal favs -- you'll listen to them again straight through. 😊👌
Young guys finding a world of cool music awaits them! ❤ it!
Why is he on the side of the road? he's reflecting on everything that he went through with his love.
Steele guitar.
Boi
Give kd lang "Trail of Broken Hearts" a listen!
Can you react to never knew lonely cover by sam ah chookoon please
PLEASE listen to Jason Aldean...Dirt Road Anthem!!
It's a harpsichord
