This was the first Game Boy title I ever owned. Lately, I have been looking for piano arrangements of music from this game. I managed to find and play the "Water Music" theme. I noticed that the original track has a "Reverb" effect, while the available piano arrangement does not try to replicate that.
I remember being flabbergasted that levels CHANGED, thus giving you reason to replay them, because it usually meant there was a treasure there that was inaccessible the first time. And then there's the treasure room itself, dark and mysterious and skulls everywhere, totally different vibe from the rest of the level it's in, which is usually lighthearted. It really gave the feel of a long lost treasure. My mind was blown.
Wow, you have even managed to explore the famous Fork Tree ! I like Wario 2 the most as it was a hilarious game. Wario 1 was sometimes too scary for me ( the music in some levels was spooky).
I remember there is a secret way to change the Mario hat anytime, you can also use this way to change time, lifes, money in any stage: press START press SELECT 16 times Then you can see a flashing indicator at the bottom HOLD A + B and use your D pad to change any value press START to finish setting and back to the game. (if you accidentally press SELECT more than 16 times, you can press START to quit and redo all the step) If you let the indicator stay at WARIO icon before you finish setting, WARIO will change his mode to next mode Cycle (as I remember): Cow hat- > Dragon -> Bunny -> small boy -> normal I played this many many years ago, so please correct the above details if there is mistakes.
If you were playing this on a real Game Boy, how would you get three moneybags in a row in the Bonus Stage? Save and reset until you get three in a row?
I cannot count the endless hours i have spend playing this game. It was one of the best for the game boy. How do you manage to always get the bag of cash in the bonus game at the end of each level?

Wow. They really packed a lot more into this game compared to the first Super Mario Land!

I remember finding it so damn funny to elbow the hell out of my enemies in this game as a kid. The constant mean smile he has makes it even better.
While this playthrough was made before in the channel, this is a remastered playthrough with higher resolution in comparison to the older version.
The Stove Canyon of Course no.24 is Boss Battle and Course no.25 is Secret Level while Treasure is H
