    Lance is right up there, but the Palomino is a little lighter, a little smaller, and frankly, for a lot of us, a price point that many of us could afford. That truck camper will make someone very happy.

    I've had one of these on my f150 for a year. Love it!

      Have a question, if that’s ok. Do you think your half ton truck can carry this and pull a pontoon boat safely? We have a travel trailer, but can never bring our boat along, unless we take 2 trips. Thanks in advance.

      @Elflopadoor Год назад +2

      @@larue83tx how much does the pontoon and trailer weigh? I have extra leaf springs and air bags on the truck to help out. I've towed a trailer with a small aluminum boat and the camper no problem.

    Thank you. I like the Lances, especially now that they have Truma for heat, but it’s nice to see alternatives and many will appreciate the lower cost of the Paliminos.

    Neat unit. I like the light weight since it would be great for rough roads and tight spots.

    The pass through window is such a simple and awesome feature. I've been shopping around for the past two years for one of these and held off because of the insane prices from that one thing that shutdown the world economy ya know..

    I just looked at some Lance setups but this one is way better setup. Bathroom is bigger, bed space is nice. Better kitchen... cheaper to. Seems like a good unit

    Why does cab over campers weigh more now than they did in the 90s. I have a 1992 Lance squire 4000 9.4 with extended cab. It weighs around 2,250 pounds. Sitting on a 1975 3/4 ton camper special. It sits level and handles it great.

    Checked one out but that north/south bed was too long for my regular cab long bed 2500HD.

    Trying to understand...
    1 Ton=2,000 lbs
    1/2 Ton= 1,000 lbs
    How are we loading a 1750lb camper in a 1/2 ton truck? + Fresh water and gear?

    • @itsbrad
      @itsbrad  11 месяцев назад +1

      Old terminology that has no meaning as far as how much a pick up can carry. Just like a 3/4 ton (250) that I had come in yesterday that had a payload just above 3,100lbs.

    Don't have a license yet but am trying to get one specifically for this, out of all TC models I've seen this has the fewest things I don't like. Probably the two biggest things I don't like are the tankless water heater (I prefer AC as an option) and that the kitchen sink doesn't connect to the grey tank. Also it isn't a huge deal but whoever decided a composite TV connection was acceptable in the 2020's needs to be fired.

    Just guessing that you got screwed with the trade in price. I just found a 2023 with a sale price of $22,945 at another dealer in TN. Not sure why you are asking more than new for used but okay.

    • @itsbrad
      @itsbrad  Год назад +2

      Priced accordingly to NADA Values. At the time when we received on trade they were selling new between $33k-$36k. Not that it matters since this unit sold months ago, but the market goes up and down, just like everything else

    If you're a sales person, you should learn about the product before you do a video and say, "I don't know what that is for." Just a recommendation.

    • @itsbrad
      @itsbrad  3 месяца назад +2

      @@Lakecenterlawncare I’m a Lance dealer, not a Palomino dealer. Was a trade in we received and didn’t deem it important enough to waste my time studying a product I deal with maybe once every 3 years.
      I hardly have time to do the videos as is, camper sold day after I posted the video so I’d say I did well enough.
      Very considerate of you to share your unneeded thoughts though 👍🏻
