It’s a bit trickier than I thought it’d be. If we have the unit delivered to CA, you have to pay CA tax on top of the delivery fee, even with it being a TN sale. If you come to TN, no delivery fee and I don’t collect out of state tax 😉

I’m looking to stay under 2500lbs wet and these new squires seem great. We just bought a ‘25 Chevy 2500 gas. I wish they still had the acrylic windows and heated tanks and maybe a different a/c even though you said they’ve been good for you guys so far. Lance doesn’t need to go cheap, just light. They blow the overlanding campers out of the water.

Great job Brad! Reminds me of truck campers in the late 1960's. Had tons of fun as a kid camping in units just like this! Back then they didn't have toilet/shower area. So much improved! Amazing amount of storage with Moly setup! Can you CPAP in bunk area? Stay safe bro!

@@elena8642 so the others slide, the one in the bed area pops out as a fire escape. I never have understood the small fire escapes in the bed area, I’d imagine you’d have better luck running through the back door, even if it’s Chuck Norris style! Lol

The no sink in the bathroom should have happened more than a decade ago. Tiny little bathroom sinks in campers are wasted space... and make a viable shower not very viable.

Why does this guy just tap on the furnace (5:56) & doesn't talk about it? There are people that do like to know more about it. For instance what brand Lp furnace, what is the Btu's, what wattage is being used when running, how efficient, etc? These things should be mentioned for us (the consumer) to know. When you're boondocking these things are important.

@@MattAK I loved my Tundra, and they definitely have heavier duty axles under them than my F150 does! Miss the heck out of it! There’s a dude in my neighborhood that has a Lance TC on a Tundra, pretty sure he never takes it off lol

We thought the SQ805 would be a hit and we’re sitting on it right now, these things too expensive to not sell 🙂 I’m taking another chance on this new SQ825, but I think it’ll excel since it has all the necessities, at a lighter weight, and much cheaper price point! I hope the SQ605 does well, I’d love to review one, but if it sits - it’ll make for one very expensive video lol
@@itsbrad Thanks for responding! I think the 605 will do better than the 805 due to the 825 being pretty much for the same truck. There are many options for a 150 compared to the Toyota Tacoma, So many people including myself want to hold on to the Tacoma because it's such a damn good truck. It just doesn't have the payload for any truck camper. I think you would have fared better waiting for the 605 and seeing how that did first. I think Lance got confused by creating two truck campers that compete against each other (805 and 825). Thanks for your videos bro!

None of these "meant for half ton trucks" are meant for half ton. They are at capacity at minimum, and most of the time are several hundred pounds over capacity. I don't understand this

until manufacturers go back to offering 1/2-tons with payload ratings in the 2200lb range, nobody should call an 1800lb camper a half-ton model.

I have a Dodge 1500 Laramie 5.7L Hemi and i wouldnt put none of these in its bed. Too heavy ,all of them.
