Very nice for a tuned hybrid. It shows that hybrid cars can be fun cars. I hope Autotopnl will test the G20 330e version in the future
The G20 is an excellent car! I had the chance to drive it for 1h and I’d definitely buy one in the future :D

@@bascarade I'm a big fan of G20 model. If I had the money then a 330i would be a better option because cars in South Africa is very, very expensive. The M340i is over 1.1 million Rand(I don't know how much is it in Euro or Pound) and M3 Competition is over 2 million Rand
@@hunterrrdrives Jip for extra R300000 you can get the M5 Competition version here in South Africa. Cars are very expensive here, even budget cars is more than R163000.

What's the coincidence! Just bought the EXACT same spec f30 330e 3 weeks ago. Have even put the same diffusor and spoiler on it as well, and on Belgium plates as well. Been loving this car a lot. Will tune after warranty :)

I own a 2016 330e Stage 1 Heinz. Best 0-100 was 5.19, best 1/4 mile was 12.95 measured with Dragy. Always struggling for grip, Michelin PS4 255 R18 on the rear. Best 100-200 was 11.79
have you chipped only? how much hp do you have?
@@tengoarteteca6510 yes, Heinz st 1 + xhpflashtool st 3, no other mods. Haven't measured the hp on a dyno stand, but the internal monitor shows smth like 340hp
How is your hybrid battery holding up and what sort of milage you on, just wondering as I am due to buy one of these.
@@benno19891 with my moderately spirited driving I average at 10.6l/100km, would've been more if I had a charging spot nearby.
My advice - get a 3l diesel / petrol.
Have u had any issues with the hybrid battery failing, they are only under warranty for 60,000 miles

@@ZZZmrsssze la 330e f30 à 22km d autonomie en full élec, un réservoir de 40l, si tu fais de l autoroute tu peux faire mo8ns de 6l/100 par contre en ville en full essence tu dépasse les 10l/100

Donc si je comprend en ville le 0 à 50 km/h ça ne solicite que la batterie sur 20km environ, ya pas la possibilité de régler celà en déclanchant le mode electique jusqu'à 20 km/h ( juste au démarrage pour pouvoir gagner unpeu d'autonomie en alternant batterie/motuer ) et puis de 20 à 50km/h utiliser le moteur, ou alors c'est seulement la batterie qui est solicité en ville à basse vitesse ?

@@freddymaillard9808 questions puissance c est le jour et la nuit, comme si tu passe de 75 à 200cv, je manges des 550d et niveau fiabilité c est nickel
Now image this with the g20 (stage 1 gives more hp and got more electric boost) with xdrive and launch mode in 2nd gear like the new m3/m4 (same transmission). And the lovely thing is that you can make it rwd with tuning software and switch on/off the awd like in a m5. That's why Bmw is awesome

yes, but you can put the golf r, much faster than this :P when you reprogram a car you cant compare with a stock car.
And this performance only last like 30km long , then the battery is dead 😅

No, there is 2 option. Charging or assisting. If you need the full of power than you have. In the G20 model, the electric boost depends from the battery. That's all. In "save" driving mode working just like a 320i. That's mean, if you want to save some energy for the city driving. The car has 45-50kWh self charging.
Around 30 min driving time fully charged. In reality.
@@mazsolt21 The "save" mode freakin eats the fuel tank tho and is definitely not recommended to use. When my F30 330e is "flat" i just let it be on the "auto" driving mode.
yes absolutely. In "save" mode is running the electric motor in generator mode. The petrol engine is working against electric motor. Because of this needed more petrol. Sometimes this is a cool option. :) You have to sacrifice some of petrol and drive through in the city with edrive :)
But at least we have a opportunity onto it.
Should be just a regular 320/330i (tuned) with some additional weight. I think hybrid is very cool because it negates drawbacks of forced induction and isn’t that heavy as a full blown EV.

It means it only has a software tune
The engine is upgraded to "stage 2". Just like a 330i. Here comes 88hp from electric engine. ~252hp + 88hp

Drop the stage sh1t people. If I get a tune and an exhaust what do I have, a stage 1.75? If I get a intercooler and a hybrid turbo with a tune ? and so on... It's stock with a remap and modified. That's it.

@@torentmonkey ah so you're questioning the definition of "stage X". Definition is set by the tuner. For example the tuning software I use requires a better downpipe to get more power and that's why they call it stage 2, because you need to upgrade the downpipe. Generally stage 1 is usually just a remap.
This name comes from BMW. This engine working in others models too. 320i, 328i, 330e 330i and in G20 330e too. But the performance "stage " is other. I think so :D

Stage 1 can go up to 375hp, i've seen proof on the Facebook page 'bmw 330e owners' . I have one aswell bought it 2-3 months ago love the car, super fast.

The problem with this car is with the fuel tank. It's too small. Too many regular trips to the gas station.
that's not the only problem, hybrids are retarded in principle as they do two things very poorly instead of one thing really good and aside the AutoTopNL's measurement, f30 330e according to official stats is 0.6s faster than f30 320d lol gtfo there's lots of these for sale and they are generally slightly lower priced than other models, I wonder why...

The regular models will be the ones to look for in the used car market.
@@bsdpowa By your own logic I can say the 320d is slow when stage 1 tuned to 230hp on the wheels because it only gets half a second faster than stock and still looses to a stock 330e, that with the 330e weighing over 200kgs more than a 320d. Id love to see where you've found the stats that the 330e is only 0.6 sec faster than a 320d, because literally every stat says the 330e 0-62mph/100kmh in 6.1 sec. While the 320d (that with the vastly better B47 engine present in the LCI models) does 0-62mph/100kmh in 7.3 sec. You must have looked at 0-60mph times for the 320d (6.7 sec which is very impressive, it must be because it doesn't gear until 61mph to improve the on paper 0-60mph.) and compared that to 0-62mph time of the 330e to get to that number. Thats the ONLY way to get the difference to be as low as 0,6 sec. 0-62mph/100kmh difference Is 1.2 seconds stock to stock, which makes perfect sense and is nothing to cry about.
Also, 330e is lower priced because they get tax breaks in Europe and the 330e is cheaper than a 320d new. Like, how can you not know this?
