Recently had my 330e F30 tuned by Mosselman (Netherlands) with an ECU remap stage 1. The base power delivery was measured at 280 bhp and 441nm. After tune it went up to 343bhp with 598nm! Combined with the xHP gearbox software it’s a totally different car now. Really love it

No, this was measured with 98 RON fuel. Actually this is a demand from Mosselman as well. They only do the tunes with this fuel and recommend it as well.
How's the car running now? The dealer i got mine from said they are known to cook the engine if you tune it, so he strongly recommended i stay stock..
That`s surprising and should turn a lot of enthusiasts towards the hybrids, imo. I was thinking about having one next and this video confirms that it might be a good idea.

@@bharadwajr3430 yet to pay for regular service.. They gave it for free 100k km included in car price package. I just pay for wear and tear like tyres, brake pad & wipers.
@@bharadwajr3430 I got 6 years / 120,000km warranty and free service. On top of that a total of 8 years / 160,000km warranty on the hybrid battery. So far so good, enjoying it much since 2019 and done 56k mileage on it

I had one 330e since March 2022 and it’s amazing, the eboost it’s incrdible fells like he had more power, and the eletrical part it’s pretty good, in a distante off 80km from one house to other house o had the cosumption it’s down just 15km

Did you check andask about the end of the e-drive at 250kp/h ? Or is it a new speedlimiter? I'm thinking about tuning my 330e but I don't want to blow up any e-drive parts by going harder then possible...

I can confirm around 250 it’s a limiter, I got my 330e a stage 3 transmission tune by xHP and it goes to 263 now

330e is seriously powerful, theres a hybrid group in the Irish Car scene. Many of them are pushing 400bhp!

I like AutotopNL’s list of 100-200, it’s just give us a wider perspective of a cars performance. I have a verified draggy time of 9.49 @ 27 C with my Cupra 😊👍🏻 and the list give me a big smile every time because I smoke so many cars🤴

i used to own one of these f30 330e.. tuned up to stage 2 by Bootmod3, and it's running 350whp and 610nm.. 0-60mph in just abt 4-4.2 sec averagely.. awesome car

Presumably it hits the 155mph limiter because acceleration just stops immediately.

Yeah kinda. I have a 328i M Sport. With 19s. And really low profile tyres. The tyre noise is just too loud sometimes. 😆 but doesn't mind that much.
Try to avoid run flat tires as well. They make the experience of large wheels even worse. Unfortunately I was talked into buying a set of winter tires on 18" and I regret it as soon as I drove the car for the first time. They are much worse to drive than the 19" I have for the summer.

I have a 330i 2018 mport with only 20.000 kilometers i wanna stage1 tune it but im not sure it messes up my warranty if something would happen

The mgflasher guys are doing amazing work. In our edrive group we have over 40 people who are using their tunes and no issues yet. Some of the cars have 150k km on board.

is this healthy for this engine to kick in at highest revs being cold as ice? straight after kickdown in EV mode?
It is a problem. I tend to put mine in save mode initially if I’m going out for a spirited drive. This kicks the engine in at all times to warm the car up. You can warm it up just like a normal car.

Got my one to just over 370 horses and nearly 700 torque 😂 well I can say I spin wheels all the way through 3rd gear. My only problem is that 1st/2nd gears are too slow changing the gearbox doesn’t keep up with the power.

@@SkipManSteve yes have the gearbox tuned, still too much power/torque and the gearbox can`t keep up. after 2nd gear its alright but 1st/2nd gear is quite bad on the delay

You can’t drain the battery on these ones. Tried it myself out of curiosity 😂😂 it doesn’t go below 8% so you will always have that boost 👀 at least I couldn’t do it…
You can, if u constantly race someone, it can go to 1% and no e-boost anymore 😅 tested on mine 😄

Short answer: yes
Some people say it doesn’t do any harm, but they are wrong. It’s possible that you can do a little tune on some engines, but other parts of the car will no longer work like they are supposed to. It’s the same thing with engines, when you change the air filter or something like that. You are destroying the whole chemistry between parts in the car.
I tuned my car with a Few other bolt ones and now I’m replacing my transmission
When I did it to my 330e immediately I had valvetronic issues my vanos solenoid other than that it was amazing I ran it 20k with no issues and regular services careful 1st owner company car long service intervals scared me don't know what these idiots done to the engine

Hey i have a bmw 530e 2021. Motor cod say b48a what’s the difference and is it a good engine b48a. I wait for tuning to come to Sweden. Don’t want it sent to fantom heard many get the ecu back destroyed. And in same case they dident get it back at all. And the company don answer or pay for a new ecu. I can get over 400hp with that tuning. Did just bought the car. Gone have it for 8 years. Is it safe to tune? The car is the best I ever owned in my entire life. It’s amazing from 0 to 100 but after that it lose a lot. From 100 to 200 it take 20 sec. After the tuning it take under 9 sec. But what do u all think. Worth it and can I get any problems from the motor in the long term?

You should wait or do a piggy back tune. Your car has the b48b20a engine. The ones that could be tuned to 400hp are the b48b20b engines.
should be the same engine but different spreaders. have spoken to bmw it is the same bullet proof engine as in the older 5 series 2020 and below. What do you mean by piggy back?s @@w-j7210

Hey Lors, de 2 liter bi-turbo verbrandingsmotor van de 330e heeft een vermogen van 184 pk. Gecombineerd met de accu kom je op een totaal van 252pk. Het zijn dus niet verschillende modellen.
De 330i zoals Max uitlegt in de video heeft een verbrandingsmotor zonder batterij/accu en die heeft op zichzelf 252 pk.

@@lorsamadey2435 interessant weetje. sommige autoverzekeringen basseren hun enkel op het motorisch gedeelte. Mijn 330e is getuned tot 370 pk, waarvan 300 in de verbrandingsmotor, maar ik betaal dezelfde premie als een standaard 2 liter met 184 PK
