It would have been interesting to see something similar to the legends be passed down by the DotC cats, but with some elements changed like the big cat groups not being named “Clans” so the implication is that oral storytelling eventually turned those into the stories we heard later on. But the Erins seem to have kind of forgotten that big cat legends were a thing, since it’s been a good while since they’ve been brought up.

No idea if their omniscience extends to knowing about other feline species; the books seem to imply they just know about Clan-specific events except when other information is required for plot reasons.)

I went on a hiking trip and I was near a lake, a forest of oak, a forest of pines, a stream, and what I believe in warriors to be the snakerocks cause I found 3 snakes there including a copperhead. (True story) I immediately recognized it as, “Warriors’s original home”. (And almost ran into the copperhead).
