Hi, Sarah! I am just beginning my Saxenda journey and as I said before, you helped me understand the process and gave me the courage to use the pen :) I do find it stings somewhat and wonder if I am doing something wrong, any suggestions? Have a wonderful day!!
I do find that if I inject above the belly button that tends to sting. However if I inject in the belly fat bellow the belly button that doesn’t sting. My other piece of advice is to not rush. Just push the needle in slowly. Don’t stab yourself too hard, because that hurts and causes bruises. I hope that helps ✨💕
@@hanadihassan4440 Yes. 25 lbs in eightish weeks so far; however, it is challenging to keep up with the water required, and I take a minimum of two weeks to adjust to new dose. You will dehydrate quickly if you don’t drink enough.
I lost 10 kilos in two months taking Saxenda. I don’t think Saxenda agreed with my body. I didn’t cope with the symptoms. I am trying to keep losing weight with diet and exercise at the moment. And I am looking at weight loss surgery in about 12 months ✨💕
2nd week on saxenda here. When you said 7kg, I was thinking "that's respectable but just ok". Then, me being a silly ignorant American, had Google convert to pounds. That's amazing! (15lbs for any other Americans). So, High Hopes here. 🙂
What I found out from all the vieos on GLP1 agonists is that in the US the doctors instruct their patients to increase the dose at certain intervals of time. Here in Europe we stay on a dose as long as it works, my friend is still on 0.6 after 4 months, still no appetite and lost 10kg with PCOS, prediabetes and hypothoroid, the 9nly dose that went up was yhe thyroid medication as the thyroid slows down the metabolism if it sences low caloric intake. My friend has another 25kg to lose.
I found that if I tend to get nauseous every time I would up my dosage it’s because my body wasn’t use to that dosage my doctor told me to stay on previous dosage for a few more days and then up it, so I did that and I was totally fine
Doing research on Saxenda and Wegovy. I’m finishing up a round of Phentermine and my Dr. is suggesting a long term option. Thank you for posting your videos and experiences! I’m down 135lbs with another 60 to go! I find without help, a support system and staying active, the addiction to food is crazy hard for me! We took up hiking and was able to get a job that’s strenuous and longer hours (that helped!)
You look fabulous. I’ve just started watching your videos and seeing the first few to now I definitely noticed a difference. You also seem happier and more confident. Way to go. Thank you for being vulnerable and putting yourself out there. I’m only 3 days in and seeing others succeed is helping. Keep up the great work.
You look like you have lost loads of weight. I'm impressed! I just went up to 3mg this week. I am looking forward to the side-effects waning. I get the emotional eating/mental hunger thing. If that happens and I overeat, I pay the consequences - I feel physically awful!!! I put a bra on for the first time in weeks (staying in because scared of COVID), and the bra was enormous compared to my little mosquito bites. I literally laughed out loud - it was a good feeling! I like your strategies about recognising when you are sad and learning to deal with the feeling/s. With the exercise, the endorphins you get are great! 🌵💗
Hey !!! loved ur results girl ! keep going and i hope ur feeling even better now I am currently taking the saxenda and i’m so lost on how and what to eat ! i started a no carb diet and just choosing healthy fruits veggies and some protein in my diet
Well done Sarah. Very inspiring! I start my Saxenda journey next week. I used to do LNE, and after watching your video I'm thinking I need to get back on it, as it sounds like the perfect combo. Keep up the good work, and good luck to us both! 😀
I came across your video and so glad I did I will be starting my 3rd week come tomorrow haven’t had many symptoms as of yet I’m nervous the more I increase my dose that I will any words of encouragement can help me as I’m on this weight loss journey
I was supposed to get it last week and then my doctor told me I had thyroid which I was shocked about. Then she proceeded to warn me on using saxenda as she says ‘will increase thyroid cancer’. She scared the hell out of me and now I’m sitting here trying to figure out what’s next. Has anyone had this warning from their doctor before proceeding with saxenda?
I find that I can eat a full meal but not the same amount I used to eat. So like halfway through I'm done, just cannot eat anymore. So I make smaller plates now, that I know I can eat. Mostly veggies, no greasy foods.
If your diet is not reduced then weight loss will be difficult. Saxenda is meant to reduce your appetite and slow down your digestion to help you eat less. Hope your doing well 😘
Hi there how did you get prescribed this medication? I really need help losing weight and I’ve tried everything I then I saw this and wanted to give it a try but I don’t know who to talk to because my doctor doesn’t seem to care much about weight loss pills etc she thinks the natural way is the best to lose weight which I agree but I’ve tried everything and nothing seems to be working I need that extra boost.
I totally hear you. I have had GP’s in the past that are not supportive of weight loss medication. I changed doctors to find one that was supportive. You need to advocate for yourself 💕✨
Hi thanks for the video how many pens did you purchase and how long did it last? I just want to give you a hug because I know how hard it is well done!!!
Can someone help me , I’m on my second week of Saxenda 1.2 but I don’t think it has curbed my hunger, I really need help with this because even though it’s only my second week I feel like it’s not going to work for me. Please help 🙏🏼
@@sharazad9185 hi , I am on my 11th week now I feel full before I finish a meal , but I still havn’t lost weight I have lost 2 kilos but I have plateaued been there for weeks, nothing seems to budge the scales, I started at 84 kilos now only 82 kilos. My job is very active, I’m not giving up but I might have to due to the cost of Saxenda here in Australia being very expensive.
Hi, your story encouraged me a lot! I just start to use 0.6 dose for 2 days...I am a little bit scared about the symptoms u mentioned. Are they really hard for me to undergo? How can I handle the symptoms once I reach 1.2 or 1.8 dose? I'm your new fans from Hong Kong😘
I’m so glad to hear from you! Welcome 😀 In regards to the symptoms I would say that it is different for everyone. Some people have no symptoms and some people are so sick they have to go to hospital 🏥 I would say that my symptoms were pretty mild all things considered. I would suggest that if you are not coping with the symptoms go and see your doctor ✨💕
@@florencema2753 I have been doing any exercise up to this point. I have been eating 1200 calories Monday - Friday. And I have been taking Saxenda. That is all so far. This month I am wanting to do more exercise. That is my goal for May 2021 ✨💕
