Thank you Casey! Why do people feel the need to do this stuff?? Sorry to have bothered you this morning. I really enjoy you content and the fact you help so many people, the world needs more people like you and less scammers! Have a good day
Yes, I was sent not 1 but 2 messages in the comments section so I went on the site in Telegram …. cut the long story short I mentioned about time zone, Aust and USA distance etc and couldn’t believe that it were true! They sent me a pic! 😀 Trying to convince me… and a comment, ‘why wouldn’t it be true’. I just blocked them! Hopefully they haven’t got any other information off my iPad!
I always have several trail cameras with me and anytime I have to leave a vehicle I put up all my cameras. Never had a problem except one time. Showed the video to the police and the guys were tracked down and arrested and went to jail and I got my stuff back. The look on their faces was priceless !!!!
I have seen the same story over and over. Vehicle gets stuck out in the woods and the owner returns to find it broken into/vandalized/stolen. It really makes me saddened that there are so many people that frequent the wilderness areas that seem to be ready and willing to steal from their fellow man.
It happens everywhere that's why when my friends get stuck I don't care what time it is I'll roll out in my deuce and a half and pop em out and not let them risk their stuff getting broke or stolen
Not where I live but way out west it is a problem. I have left a camper full of supplies in the mountains for weeks on end up in Idaho and nobody messed with anything, same in Utah and Wyoming. I would never leave anything in Oregon California or Washington forests. Too many druggies and scumbags.
Another awesome video. One of the things that keeps me coming back that you are in constant change of vehicles and like you said you willing to sell anything at anytime I hope your wife was aware of this personality before she said I do I would have said let me think about this LOL

I did a recovery in the snow once. A guy slid off the road and thankfully high-centered before going off the cliff. Left his vehicle overnight. I happened to drive by the next morning when he returned with friends. They couldn't pull him out but I was able to winch him back up. He was very grateful and told me, "I was going to give you some money but someone broke in and stole everything overnight." As if almost falling off a cliff wasn't bad enough...
Now days people have no respect for other people's things! It was bad enough to be stuck but then robbed too just sucks! Good job Casey getting him turned around!
dog eat dog world. i've been watching some russian northern trucking videos and you can see the remains of trucks that broke down on the side of the roads.. all useful components removed and it sitting on its axles. kinda a bit different story up north there where it might be difference of survival though
I know one thing karma IS! a nasty unforgiving bi*ch! Someone stole my dirtbike ktm 500cc and went to a local off road area. The police found him under the bike off the side of a slope.
I love watchin Matt, Paul, Rudy, and Robbie and Casey. But for some reason Casey seems like a GREAT guy amongst great guys! God Bless. Yall be safe Brother! From The Ohio Valley Hillbilly, GRADALL!
Fun fun fun. A friend of mine here in the eastern Sierras of California has a towing company and does a lot of off road recovery. I have gone out with him to help on several. Because he needed my experience as a diesel mechanic truck driver equipment operator. Some are easy and fun some you work for hours to prevent environmental damage or damage to vehicle being recovered. But it’s all good to get out in nature and enjoy the majestic beauty mountains and Desert
I’ve lived all over the western United States and spent most of my time in the forest and I can say living on the coast of Oregon I found that the thieving in Oregon is so bad!
Oregon has been decimated by job losses for decades, combined with a cultural aversion to education. Our graduation rates have always been among the lowest in the country, and when higher skilled jobs open up here they're often taken by people from out of state who are educated.
@@jamesmccormick2696 But here's the thing James - being educated and having a moral code are two completely different things, and we can see from the banksters and other corporate types that even well-educated people can be thieves. And job losses are no excuse for theft - there are plenty of jobs out there and yes, you might have to move somewhere else to find one. It's been that way in this country since it was founded. We have to stop making excuses for bad behavior in our society and hold people accountable. Drug use/addiction could be a factor here as well.
Antifa junkies are crawling all over coastal Oregon now. They are the worst, they vandalize and steal whatever suits them, and very violent if confronted in the act. It is really sad because Oregon has some great people but a lot of scumbags too.
It’s all about your attitude Casey! Having an office window called a windshield is it the best career. Every time I think of you, the word “RESPECT“ comes to mind🤗
I hate thieves. A soft shackle around the ankles combined with a 30 foot Yankum rope when towed 30 mph or more gets the point across, you don't mess with other peoples things.
They did about that same thing in Jasper, Texas years ago to a black man that didn't pay his drug bill dragged him until there wasn't much left to drag
Morning Casey! That was a cool quick rescue. Poor man having some property stolen from his truck out in the woods! Take care and have a wonderful day. ❤️🇦🇺🇺🇸
Dunno, Casey. Being retired and able to sit down and watch your videos whenever I want is a pretty decent job. Such hard work, yet so rewarding. And I get to see parts of the country that I've never been to. Neat seeing snow in late April. Last time I was in snow in late April was visiting family in Germany almost 20 years ago. My thoughts about thieves are definitely against what YT allows, so I'll keep that to myself.
I came here to get my gift .. yeah and I wasn't disappointed! Watching Casey LaDelle videos is a good prize !!! So your selling some of your equipment ... what's the big fuss? That's SOP for business operations.
Old school... Louisville Slugger... I used to keep my ball and glove with mine because back in the day, cops would pull you and play 60 questions about the bat...

The guy(s) who did this clearly knew what they were doing so the only answer is to catch them on a trail camera hid in a tree or a dashcam with it's own battery.
I don't know why it is such a big deal when he says he is selling a vehicle. I started following him a year ago and at that time he had a Ford truck that he sold to buy this Dodge. He explained that he is going to build a new recovery rig on a Toyota chassis and I just assumed he is selling the Jeep for that purpose; he won't need it anymore. He's just simply trying to better himself and there isn't anything wrong with that. Great video!
I've installed cabinets for the same company for 18 years and it's so old. You really do have the greatest job in the world. I'd love to do offroad recovery.
I'll give you the same suggestion I gave Paul of Fab Rats. If you have a vehicle like your Jeep that has flat glass, you have the fix sitting in your yard. Anytime school buses get anything so much as a chip in a windshield they have to replace them. Go to the local school bus maintenance shop and see if they have any old windshields laying around. I had a 49 Ford pickup with split front windshield. I replaced both I replace both windshield halves and door glass with school bus windshields. I even had about the 4-inch blue tint strip above the window. They're easy to cut the shape with just using a thread and some lighter fluid and a glass of cold water.
Casey, fun once again you do have a great office. The mentality of people who would break in and steal is so sad. But your repeat customer just seams to be a very forgiving person a real gentleman. 🇦🇺

Whenever you're way out deep in the woods and your windshield is covered with mud. Save your water & windshield fluid & use the snow instead if available.
Since the thieves popped the hatch lock, it’s probably a good thing it was stuck pretty deep. You might have rolled up on just a dug out area in snow and mud. 😝
