I made a mistake and damaged the customer’s vehicle

- Do you ever have one of those days where you’re off your game and just can’t get back on it?? Well that was me on this day and my attempt to push through it led to a series of mistakes and poor decisions that ended with me damaging a customer’s vehicle for the first time in the history of Cascade Heavy Rescue. This Ford F-250 slid off the road in the snow and landed in the exact same trees as the Honda I pulled out a week earlier. I took the @NRCIndustries rollback even though I didn’t have the proper equipment for such a job yet, because it was the better choice if the truck needed towed afterwards.
As you’ll see in the video, this whole job was amateur hour at best, and is definitely not the type of work I want to be know for. I most definitely considered not even making this video, but they would be very hypocritical seeing as I have no problem holding other companies and manufacturers accountable when they fall short of their claims or have inferior products, so it’s only fair that I don’t hold back when I’m the one not meeting my standards.

Well as the owner of the truck and father of the driver, I feel I owe it to all of you to chime in! I spent the majority of my life in a career that constantly reminded me that bad stuff happens! Really tragic, life ending/altering things happen in the blink of an eye, and we're beyond fortunate that our kids were uninjured and all that was damaged was a truck. This could have turned out very different and I feel truly blessed.
Casey, you are awesome and I cannot thank you enough for helping us out. I consider the little bit of damage that occurred as a result of the removal the cost of doing business, and it's truly all good!
I also need to thank the DCSO for watching all of our backs that night! I appreciate that you were there for us and I'll never forget it!
Thank you!
You Sir, are a good man .
You have a great attitude, sir! Most important thing here is that nobody got hurt. If those trees weren't there, it would have been much worse! If that were me, I would just be overjoyed that he got it out of there, and it was fully drivable. Just call all those dents 'battle scars' and now you have a story to tell!
Youre a good man, Kenneth! Thank you for chiming in.
Thank you for this post Mr. Kehmna, it's always good to hear from the customer too. I'm very glad to hear nobody was hurt in the accident. I hope everything works out ok with your truck. 👍🇨🇦
Right? The damage to the truck is minor in the grand scheme of things. Glad everyone was OK!
I'm a 20 + year career law enforcement officer. I've worked with alot of tow truck drivers. You are still one of the best I've seen.
We all make mistakes once in awhile. How we learn from our mistakes makes us better at what we do.
I've seen many vehicles that are way off the road and into the trees where it's impossible not to cause more damage to the vehicle during recovery.
Great job! I'll be waiting for your next video.
Casey, I am recent new subscriber to your channel. I have browsed many other channels, looked at a few videos and moved on because I wasn’t impressed with the content. Then I found yours….looked at a couple videos, then another and another and another. I am now hooked on what you do and have seen enough already to get to know you as best one can though your channel. You have the character, honesty and integrity that is rarely seen anymore.
After seeing this video, please don’t beat yourself up on this. You are human and a true professional at what you do. I was very pleased to see the comment from the owner of the truck and the understanding he had. The damage can be repaired like it never happened. The ordeal could’ve been much worse before you ever arrived with injuries. And don’t forget, you came out when another tow company refused. I can tell from all the other comments, your other viewers feel the same way.
I am looking forward to seeing all your other video’s and share your adventures with you. Congrats on a job well done for this rescue Casey.
Welcome from Australia firstly where it is mid 30'sC right now and refresing to see snow!!
I also share these coments and have donethis excact same thing, binge watched every episode and followed Casey's growth.
Well done Casey and all who support you
I look forward to more in the future
Casey, not being a tow truck operator, but a heavy equipment operator, I might have approached a little different. You do good work. Work in extreme situations!
Watching, "I know that truck"
Knowing the owner of the vehicle. I'm glad those trees were there to save our friends life!
Thank you for your expertise and kindness.
In Magnum Force, Dirty Harry said, "A man's gotta know his limitations." It is refreshing to hear someone admit he had some limitations that resulted in damage to a customer's vehicle and to see him hold himself accountable. BTW, I don't think it would be very realistic of any of us to expect perfection of you or of anyone else and those of us who have learned your work ethic and your kindness toward others, are not surprised to hear you admit when you fall short of that perfection. Well done.
Well said and I agree with your assessment. None of us gets it right every single time. Mistake made, mistake examined and debriefed and task corrections discussed new equipment arrived.. The biggest lesson to be shared here wasn’t a procedural recovery error… it was 100% ownership of error and damage. As you said “I didn’t need to show you this video.” Casey you did… your moral package is so profound that you couldn’t not show us. Ownership of our own mistakes is something none of us is in love with. We do it because we feel we have too. We wouldn’t be us if we didn’t. Well done man. Maybe not the perfect recovery resulted in an exemplary example of “ownership” of one’s mistakes.
Casey says often, "I never said I was good at this".
@@billreal76 and he is so wrong, @casey you are good at this, everybody makes misstakes, everything is fixable. The fact that you put this out only makes you king, love your videos!
And of course the conditions that Casey works in!!! There is no perfect way of doing what he does imo.
I wonder if it would be worthwhile to just load the wrecker on the rollback and take it with. If you don’t need it, no big; but in a scenario like this, it’s there! If you need the rollback to transport the recovery, Grumpy might can drive it back or tow it on the stinger?
No-one thinks any worse of you for this one Casey. They ended up much better than they started, and we all appreciate your honesty in posting it and explaining everything.
Casey, at your request, I purchased one of your “I never said I was good at this” shirts. It seems to be a very good quality shirt.
As providence would have it, the shirt arrived on the same day as the workshop manual for my daughter’s vehicle. I proudly wore the shirt while showing her the workshop manual and emphasizing the statement from the shirt, “I never said I was good at this.” I think she made the connection.
Thank you for showing us all sides of your work and allowing us to learn from your ‘experiences’.
Everything can't go as planned....the fact you owned it and the customer handled the way they did is a testament to you! Also no one else was going to get the truck out the other tow service had already been out and said no to the job. You take the impossible jobs shit will happen. Keep up the good work and you will continue to be blessed! Love the channel and the honest reviews!
I'm sure we all appreciate your transparency! Situations like this are how we learn and grow. Don't be too hard on yourself.
A family getting home safe is surley worth a bit of hurt pride. I think the guy summed it up absolutley, Casey saved thier bacon
Any professional makes mistakes. Nobody's perfect. We all learn from mistakes.
You are such an honest and decent individual Casey. No one else wanted the job but you took it and got the customer out and he was very appreciative. Good to look back to see where you could have made a different decision, but we all make lesser ones in the heat of the moment. Thank you for your amazing honesty, transparency and just for being you!
Humility is a rare trait in this day and age. This is what makes Casey stand out from the rest.
Love your honesty in sharing this with us. Shit happens no one is perfect. Glad to see the customer was very understanding. Stay safe out there!
As Jamie Davis said, Sometimes things dont go well, or as planned
What I saw was, you had a truck down a steep snowy slope and you winched it back onto the road without any “serious “ damage to it. Yes there was a dent added to it, but you’re taking it way too hard. And you did the right thing in the end. And the owner wasn’t upset about the outcome.
@@patbullard9276 well said
Damn you just say the truck falling off a cliff and your apologizing for saving that vehicle incidental damage that occurred do not beat yourself up over that, The precurious nature of calamity involved with this will happen, it's incidental occasionally you have to understand that and maybe sometime lay out a disclaimer for clients, I think you did great
It will match the other dents! While a mistake according to Casey, owning an accident while saving the customer’s vehicle is remarkable! First Class! Keep up the good work even though you said you aren’t good at this! Best wishes!
One other thing, it sounds like 3 first class guys met that night, Customer. Grumpy and Casey!
Casey is a role model for every other person on the planet.
I seem to be watching your videos in a haphazard order since subscribing. I’ve mentioned it before and I’ll say it again, you renew my faith in humanity! Honestly, these videos are inspirational to watch. You are a very kind man 🙏
Quit beating yourself up, Casey. You are very conscientious with everything you do, but sometimes things don't go as planned. The reason your job is so interesting to you and us is that every recovery is a new unique challenge, but that means it's difficult if not impossible to know what the specific issues will be beforehand. With multiple recovery vehicles, it's difficult to have every tool you need in every truck every time (unless of course you have unlimited funds, which most of us don't). Always appreciate your integrity and honesty in your vids whether it's a review of a product or one of your recoveries. You're a good man!!!!
Yep. And from what Casey's said in a comment on another video, this YT channel has cost him his company. He said that he had less than a dozen paid tows all year, last year.
They say 'you learn from your mistakes' so put this down to experience, no one got hurt, except pride.
I think the cut away to explain why it was wrong worked really well..
Thanks for sharing your experience.
Nice to see Grumpy on board...
I really appreciate the fact that you don’t edit out mistakes! You clearly have a ton of experience and it’s refreshing to watch a channel that shows what’s really happening and rather than just editing out anything bad. You’re doing awesome! Keep up the good work!
Everyone makes mistakes - it’s far from the nicest conditions out there. Your transparency is admirable as I’m sure a lot of channels wouldn’t have posted this video and acted like it didn’t happen. Also you’ve taught your viewers a lot by posting this.
As an educator we are shifting to teaching students that mistakes are opportunities to learn and not to fear. I so value your willingness to share the mistakes you made and what was learned from them. You are an amazing teacher - thank you Casey!!
There are a lot of fails videos,
Most are entertaining.
The opportunity to learn from others mistakes too means we can learn more in one lifetime.
So many people would have either said nothing, or glossed over it, awesome of you to show it in detail and do such a deep dive into what didn’t go to plan, on top of not charging for the rescue you are going to fix the dint in the truck out of pocket. Stay awesome Casey
The comment by the owner of the truck, that Casey pinned, says that the owner considers the damage to be "the cost of doing business, and it's truly all good." That's a cool owner who's willing to accept the damage and not charge Casey for it. Very upstanding folks all around in this rough situation. An upstanding owner who's not worried about charging Casey for it, and an upstanding tow truck company owner who's willing to cover the cost.
It looks like it's going to be a wash. The owner gets his children back safe and sound, with a truck that's fully operational, even if it does have a little extra damage. Casey gets conformation that things happen and that no matter how many times you do something, unforeseen occurrences can cause even the best of us to make a wrong turn, that we think is a correct turn at that moment, and end up having a bad day.
2 good people who both had a bad day, but with the best day mixed in. The truck didn't roll, which was the best day that parent, and the kids, could have ever had.
@@chb2551the one added a day after my comment? All is good that ends well, in a fair world everyone takes care of everyone else
Like i always like to say. Shit happens in this industry its precision guess work on questionable terrain. Sooner or later somethings bound to get goofed up, but you handled it appropriately, and the customer also is very understanding as well it appears. Stay safe and warm brother!
Yep. Casey pinned the customer's comment. He said that he considers the damage to be the "cost of doing business." He said, "it's truly all good." Upstanding guys, all around.
I have huge respect for a man who faces up to his own mistakes and doesn't make excuses for his mistakes. My hat is off to you Casey! Your a good man!
Casey, in a much earlier video you remarked that you always try to be as honest as you possibly can, and this situation is a prime example of it. The bad thing about doing videos is that you can look back and see the mistakes you made - but here's the kicker - you are human. In the end, the truck was recovered, and metal can be straightened, so please, don't beat yourself up with this. If I was in the owners situation, considering what the alternatives would have been, I'll take the small amount of damage that was done to my vehicle and just consider it an "oops". Also, much like the owner, I wouldn't tell you how much the repair was!
If you think about it, this is Grumpy's fault! 😳 He's supposed to be supervising! 😁 Amazing job! As precarious as the spot was, you did awesome! Lots of love to Grumpy.
That IS an excellent point!
Casey, perhaps MRS Grumpy needs to put Grumpy through more thorough Supervisor Training before allowing him out with you next time
🤣
I think Grumpy needs a reflective vest for your night time excursions.
Casey don't beat yourself up over this , you've done so many recoveries without a mishap it's gonna happen eventually . just be glad No one was hurt in the accident and you all made it back home safe that night. God bless you and grumpy. Happy New Year to you and your family 👪 and grumpy and his family 👪
It is not the mistake itself, but, how a man handles his mistakes that speaks of his character.
Applauding your strength of character. That’s another pillar for hooking life’s stuff on.
Casey, everyone makes mistakes but you owned up to it and the customer didn’t look to mad about it. Stay safe out there and Happy New Year.
Casey pinned the comment from the owner of the truck. In his words, he considers the damage to be "the cost of doing business, and it's truly all good."
2 upstanding individuals meet who both end up having a bad day. However, as the owner said, he felt blessed because he got his children back safe and sound. He also got a truck back that was fully operational. A few extra dents is an extremely small price to pay for what the owner came away with.
Both Casey and the customer are showing in this video how they really are good people.
Hey Casey, it takes a big man to admit his mistakes and it takes an even bigger man to put them on camera for the world to see. Mistakes and failures are our greatest teachers, learn from them and maybe one day you can say “ I am good at this” haha, thanks Casey, I enjoy your videos keep them coming
You genuinely seem like the most real RUclipsr out there.
That father was cool. As you know, we make mistakes, and hopefully, we learn from them. But that father was cool about what happened. I like how he said I'll take care of you and you said I'll take care of that for you. Very awesome people, you all rock. Thank God that tree was there and saved them kids.
The way the truck was sitting at that angle that far down the hill, the customer is probably happier to still have a truck to drive than worry about a dent on the side of his box! Keep up the good work, you help a lot of people!
Agreed, I would be glad it wasn’t totaled
I don’t think I would be looking over if my wife was driving either. Haha
The back and forth at the end was just great. One guy is gutted he messed up and wants to make it right, the other guy seemingly couldn't care less and is determined to pay in some form or fashion, despite the unnecessary damage caused.
I like how you took responsibility for the truck not being in park, there is always a temptation to blame others but you didn't go that route, that's integrity!
Well done Casey you not only admit you make a mistake and often say you not very good at doing this stuff however you learn and teach so many others how to think things through and often do thing that are not the convention but in recovery if it works it makes it ok. The only problem i see is you do your best and if the light had been the same as it was when you pull that other car out you would have made different choices and had a different result. Don't beat yourself up to hard it happens and remember as every rescue you do without incident to the vehicle is a bonus as some of them are in situation where you do amazing work not to further damage the vehicle bening recoverd. also you admit when your wrong unlike some that say it was X Y and Z that caused it not me. The best is that the customer still commended you on doing it at all.
It was also in cold, rainy weather, as we can see in the video. The customer commented that it's just the cost of doing business for getting his children back safe and getting a truck back that's completely operational. The other companies weren't even going to touch it. Who knows how long it would have sat there, or if bad weather would have broken the tree and rolled the truck down the hill. The customer realizes that without Casey's help, he may have gotten back a totaled truck, instead of a dented one.
"You never said you were good at this!", I believe this is an apt quote from Casey LaDelle when he proves he's still human😉
Hey Casey, you are indeed good at this. That's the first time in over 10 years that you have damaged a customers vehicle. I watch all your videos and you are by far in the top rankings of tow truck operators. You are caring, careful and conscientious in your dealings, you are also extremely generous in your giving back, volunteering, and community engagement. We all give you a big pat on the back for sharing your lessons with us, as we all learn from them. Wishing you a really awesome New Years and the best for a great year ahead.
Great job Casey and most all of us applaud you for your honesty. Conditions out there were horrible, with ice, rain, snow, cliffs and danger. You did an excellent job overall, and the dents you added were pretty minor. Love how you always explain everything in detail, and I still stand behind all of your talent in the profession which you choose to work in; 99.999 percent of us could never do it. God Bless!
When I was doing roadside assistance, I had my share of screw-ups. It was mostly a learn as you go at that employer but... it happened. Glad to see you own it. That's my policy too.
Oooops, well you've always stated " I didn't say I was any good at this" 🤔😉🤣🤣🤣
I have to admire your honesty and transparency Casey. 👍
The only people who never mess up some stuff is that bunch who never do anything.
You’re QUITE the NICE guy Casey…man. Never seen anyone in THAT business SO generous! It’ll certainly come back in spades brother!
Casey, this video proves a few things to me.
You, sir, are a class act.
Even though “I never said I’m good at this” is your mantra, you are excellent at your work, but since you are human, you are not perfect.
You probably learned more from this recovery than you usually do from a dozen that go well.
This recovery will result in your being even better in the future.
Your technique in showing the mistakes and explaining them as they are happening is an excellent teaching tool, and another thing you are good at!
Thank you for sharing this video. I learned things and I’d bet I’m not the only one that did.
This may be your first vehicle you damage and the fact that you say ( I never said I was good at this ) and the fact that showed us all on RUclips only makes you human and I have even more respect for you don't be hard on yourself as many recoveries that you do it was bound to happen and if your lucky enough it won't happen again but I think you would have a better chance at playing the lottery lol I'm willing to bet that guy isn't going to fix the truck. We all can tell this has been hard on you it's called a accident you didn't do it on purpose. God bless and as always be safe 👍
Typically I wait to comment until I finish the entire video. This is just another reason I have mad respect for you Casey. 💩happens and how we deal with it sets us apart from others. Every profession has certain short cuts or work around methods they do. You being so honest and explaining what took place and what could have been done differently just goes to show what an honest man you are. And you dissected the entire recovery step by step and very honestly took ownership. Like the Dad said, at the end of the day it is just bent in metal and the people all were okay. the truck can be fixed. Like my Dad used to say: anyone can make a mistake. As long as you learn from it and don't make them again you learned your lesson. Keep your head up Casey!
It takes a good man to admit he made a mistake, and in the end it was no big deal!
I am always so humbled by Casey! Always happy to help and you can see how bad he felt about that damage. When really the truck owner was super grateful to Casey and still wanted to pay him. I have been binge watching this channel for a week lol, cant get enough
@@notsevenfeettall On top of that, as Casey mentioned in a reply on another video's comment, he's had less than a dozen paid recoveries last year, thanks to his posting videos for us to be entertained. He said that the channel pretty much tanked his business. That creates a tight budget, yet he's still spending the time and money to do these recoveries for free. You don't get many decent people like that, in this day and age.
Casey, your honesty speaks for you as a person. showing us all of your work not just your best is as good as it gets!
"I never Said I Was Good At This"
What a great life-motto.
Oh well, you went there to get it out and you did just that. If you learnt something from your mistakes then you can write the cost of the damage off as worth it. I can appreciate a man who owns up to his mistakes with no excuses. Chin up, Little Soldier !
It's amazing how quickly you can start making bad decisions once you're backed into a corner. This could have happened to anyone. Putting this video up, so people can learn from it is probably the best thing you could have done. It could have been way worse man, but it's refreshing to see someone owning up to their own mistakes. Keep doing what you do. You're an inspiration to a lot of people out here.
Series of unfortunate events to learn from, and good it didn't lead to any injuries. Keep up the great work and videos.
One of the traits that I admire about you is that you are willing to admit when you are wrong, or could have done things a better way.
You're still good in my books.
I think this is a case where focus on the job is paramount, talking to grumpy, telling the camera what’s going on , it’s dark and wet all add bumps into your train of thought. If you were just pulling out the truck and nothing else you would probably not compound your mistakes. We call it task loading when scuba diving and it almost always ends up a teaching moment. No one got hurt , trucks can be fixed. Good on you for putting it out there.
i would say many of your viewers can't call on you when they go off the road. They may be stuck with non-standard options for getting out. Your detailing of the way to fix your mistakes will be of great value to them. I know that just watching you detail your reasoning in hitch points, pull angles, etc. on a good tow have already saved me great costs. I appreciate the way you do this. Thanks Casey. You are a great teacher and mentor.
@@notsevenfeettall Casey pinned the customer's comment. The customer said that he considers the dent "the cost of doing business, and it's truly all good." 2 very upstanding people had a bad day. The most important thing is that the owner got his kids back. A second bonus is that, since no other tow company was willing to even attempt it, Casey's work may have saved the truck from being totaled. Who knows how long it would have sat there until someone tried to get it out. Bad weather may have broken the tree and sent the truck tumbling down the hill. A couple of dents saved the truck. Well worth the cost, in my book.
hats off to you for being humble and recognize your mistakes, take responsibility and also use the opportunity to educate people about it
Whenever im using equipment for work or home, much smaller things, and i dont "stay nervous", i regret it. Thankfully here, and so far for me, no lasting damage.
Youre a good dude !!!
Man's oldest struggle since the beginning of time... forgiving themselves
Casey, one thing for sure, you'll be even better going forward. I'll still call you to rescue me😜
Even the best have bad days. You owned it and plan to make it right. Though I got a feeling the father aint going to let you. Keep up the good work and thank you for what you do. Both the volunteer time cleaning up the forest and the parks, and helping those others won't touch.
Casey pinned the owner's comment. The owner considers the dents to be "the cost of doing business, and it's truly all good." Sounds to me like Casey found a like-minded person as a customer and it doesn't sound like the owner is going to bother Casey with damage costs.
Thanks for the courage to show this, Casey! Not every job is going to be perfect. You had a rough one this time and it was a valuable learning experience and it showed us just how genuine you are. As always, this was a fun vid and I enjoyed it. I also really enjoyed the cut in commentary you added.
As frustrating as this was, we have to remind ourselves that it's just stuff. Stuff is fixable or replaceable. People, on the other hand, may not be fixable and definitely aren't replaceable! 💜
Never a mistake just a learning curve
Mistakes are gonna be made. Matt just did it too. Happy New Year.
I'm sorry you had a rough recovery, but thank you for sharing. As someone that does volunteer recoveries up in Washington, I appreciate the opportunity to learn from your expertise with your explanations of how to do better.
You learn the true measure of a person when they are at their worst. You, good sir, measure up well. Anyone who can make a mistake, and then admit their mistake without making excuses, is doing just fine. Well done sir!
Don't beat yourself up, you saved the guys truck, the trees saved his life, you did good, just don't make the same mistakes twice and its all good.
I love this video. It's been a horrible year for me and your videos have helped lift the mood. Even if you are disapointed with yourself for simple mistakes here, posting this and sharing your thoughts at the time and at the posting as well as their reactions, just wraps this up into a special kind of video that shows how decent others can be. We all know shit happens, but he took it in stride and understood where some might have just flipped out. You always say you never claimed to be good at this, which I love on the shirts btw, but this shows why you actually are good at this. Good at admitting to and learning from mistakes. Good at dealing with a bit of adversity in what was going on. Just a good all around feel to this vid. Thank you for sharing and thank you for posting when you can to help some of us through some rough patches. 🐾🐾🍻
We don't learn from everything going right. We also don't learn from things going wrong. Until we we reflect on things and what could be done to make it better next time. Great lesson Casey. And you are quite good (at learning and putting those learnings into the next recovery). Lots to take from this event for all of us. Thanks for putting it up and lettings us follow along.
Poor Grumpy! He had to watch the whole thing unfold!! LOL.
Don't beat yourself up, Casey. You said it best: we all make mistakes. Matt, from his off road recovery, just broke a customer's truck, and had to pay for a repair.
We’re all Human, even Matt from Matt’s Off Road Recovery makes mistakes too, ass we saw in his last upload with the White Ram bumper
This video shows us the amount of honest integrity you have. Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
That's funny, "I'll take care of it. No I will." You're a stand up dude Casey...
You did well considering the difficulty of that recovery. Remember the other tow company did not even want to attempt it.
Hey man , shit happens. Thumbs UP to you as always!
Would you have a link to that awesome flatbed attachment? I learn a bunch from this channel.
No link. You have to call an NRC dealer and order through them
I want the tee shirt that says, "I never said I was good at this." Such a true statement for me in just about everything I attempt to do!
Mr. Kehman and Mr. LaDelle, I will have to say you both left me with a recharged feeling of hope. Honesty, caring and integrity, I applaud you both. Thank you.
You never said you were good
The smartest person in the room is the one that knows they aren't the smartest person on the planet. Keep on keeping' it real, Casey.
I had a guy come pick up a scrap pontiac with a new to him rollback. His "snatch block" was a random pipe he found in the cab that he shoved into the bed and held there until it bent, then he got another.
I had a snatch block. I offered it...
You still made their day way better!
What a really nice customer-didn’t play the blame game. Just decent. Just what the “nicest guy” on the internet deserves.
Take each other out to lunch and call it a wash. At least he got out, no one else did it. Don't kick yourself no one's perfect.
What make a professional isn't are ability to never make mistake because we all do ,it how we handle fixing our mistakes and making things right.
It’s natural for grumpy to try to “justify” or try to make you not feel so bad about the little dent. That’s what friends do. I like that. Also Casey it’s awesome that you show this stuff. Thanks.
Why I like this channel so much is because it's all about people being nice to each other. Respectful, polite....kind.
That is what makes you one of the best recovery tow drivers there is. You always show the good with the bad
Show me a man that says he NEVER makes mistakes, and I will show you a liar.
But you did the right thing and offered to pay for the damage and no charge for the recovery.
Shit happens. But, you owned up to your mistake, took responsibility for it, learned from it AND shared it. That makes you way the hell more of an impressive human than a lot of people.
Casey you are a tall man.. but even if you weren't you'd still stand tall... A man of honor and love... We love you and the honesty you bring and teach
Thanks for sharing this mishap. Wreckers are the best.
Accountability.... be proud to have it, the world nowdays evades accountability... Be strong!!!
Casey, the fact that it bothers you is a sign that you care about people, and how your actions affect others. We are all human. We all make mistakes and we learn from them. You obviously do learn from your mistakes, and that makes you better because of it.
It's the man who doesn't learn from his mistakes who is the failure. Great job.
You pull him off the trees for no charge, but still feel terrible for causing additional damage. Integrity is something that the world needs more of. Keep up the great work! I’ve enjoyed your channel since stumbling onto you a few days ago!
Casey, I'm a HazMat truck driver. Got my CDL in Fairbanks Alaska in 2005. Last winter I was utterly exhausted and called in on my day off. I get to the end of my day and I have to deliver to College Way Chevron. Newport Ave was closed for construction and a detour was set up, it was uphill. I forgot to stop and chain up. I slid backwards down the hill and bent my fender. It took almost 20 years of extreme winter driving before I made a mistake causing damage. It happens to the best of us, don't beat yourself up to much, and I'm sure you learned from your mistake just as I did. Keep up the good work brother and keep helping.
Man your wife is a blessed woman. Wish I was 25 years younger and met you before your wife did lol. The world needs more people like you... and Grumpy.
WOW, that is refreshing, a man with integrity. Old Grumpy must be proud!
