The TLM is not about the language. It's about accuracy in the Apostolic Canon, which has been obfuscated in the Novous Ordo. It's about worshipping as our Lord taught us, rather than using a masonic liturgy (yes there's hard proof, Bugnini was was freemason). It's about reverence, so stop this silly talk about Trads thinking that Latin, for it's own sake, is better!
Why recite in a language you do not understand. 99.9% of catholics can't read or write or understand Latin.

To Wendyfield, you obviously do not realise that the language is only a part of what the Latin Mass is about. Have you ever compared the Latin Mass with the Novus Ordo? No, I guess not. If you did you would see how changed the New Order Mass is, how it is lacking in so many beautiful biblical passages, how different it is in terms of reverence. It’s what our famous saints were brought up with!

Any Church teaching that is regarded as 'unhip' will simply have to go. Both, the Orthodox Churches and the Catholic Church share the believe in the Holy Eucharist and worship that we have received directly from our Lord since he was here on earth. Unfortunately our Protestant brethren changed everything including the sacraments. Let us ask our Lord to guide them back to the true meaning of Christianity. God bless all Christians.

Each of these has a trinity of dimensions to them. Time has past, present, and future. Space has length width and height (a 3 dimensional universe), and matter has 3 states. Solid liquid and gas. God made everything good therefore it must point us toward Him because He is good.

Jesus, the Son, is baptized by John. The Holy Spirit descends on him, and the Father speaks in a voice from heaven that sounds like thunder to some. So you have all 3 persons of the Trinity revealed in this event.

The coming synod is already causing so much concern among committed Catholics that Pope Francis MUST take note and consider how the possible outcomes will affect our 2000 year history and traditions. However the powerful strength and influence of the Holy Spirit can move and motivate the participants. So we must never despair. Prayer and penance can change the present trends in the Vatican. God’s people must never give up on prayers for the Pope to make the right decisions. We have faced even worse challenges in the past and we can do so again going forward.

I'm glad this was addressed because it's a definite issue. This synod of lay jokers need to be dealt with, as well as the people in leadership positions spitting on the Lord and his Word.
The Sacrifice of the Mass used to be the sum and summit of Catholic Life. As a woman, I have neither the strength nor the inclination to lift a 33 yr old man above my head in offering. I can prepare for the sacrifice through confession, I can stand, I can witness, I can love and this is appropriate. I can’t pretend, however, that the Eucharist is NOT a real person, a real man. The Eucharistic Revival is not a big tent come-n-get-it. But it has that ring to it. It might be better to stop watering down what Christ said, what He did. The Mass is the Mass. a sacrifice. Real flesh. Real blood. Catholics were expected to GROW UP, and should still be expected to GROW UP, vertically, toward the Goal, not horizontally, dissipating and dissolving Truth as we accommodate and accompany illusions, sin, and stupidity.

This makes me feel so much better hearing from Fr. Murray. I am horribly worried that the synod approve of homosexual unions. This will lead to division, persecution, and denial of religious rights for Catholics who still obey the Truth. Pray for Pope Francis.

4. Is Jesus’ example of love separate from an individual’s sexual immorality❓

5. Is sex considered a sin❓

6. Under what condition is sex allowed❓
🕊️“But because there is so much sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman should have her own husband.” 1 Corinthians 7:2
Conclusion:
Not only did our Father, Jesus and the Apostles clarify marriage between heterosexuals but further state that sexual immorality was only acceptable through heterosexual marriage. If sexual immorality is only acceptable between heterosexuals then by default, sex & marriage between homosexuals is not only sinful but contradicts our Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit who spoke through the Apostles.
Even though we know more now about sexual orientations, who will dare claim our Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit who spoke through the Apostles knew less❓
7. We’re we warned about certain people who would enter our Father’s church and claim that his grace allows for us to live immoral lives❓
🔥“Dear friends, I had been eagerly planning to write to you about the salvation we all share. But now I find that I must write about something else, urging you to defend the faith that God has entrusted once for all time to his holy people. I say this because some ungodly people have wormed their way into your churches, saying that God’s marvelous grace allows us to live immoral lives. The condemnation of such people was recorded long ago, for they have denied our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. So I want to remind you, though you already know these things, that Jesus first rescued the nation of Israel from Egypt, but later he destroyed those who did not remain faithful. 8. Are we all given the free will to accept our Father’s truth in reference to marriage❓

Eucharistic revival needs proper indepth Catholic catechesis, Adoration and the reintroduction of communion on the tongue. All else is words, words, words.

Bishop Barron is a faithful priest and an intelectual who may be misinterpreted by some who believe he is not faithful enough. I wish most of our Bishops and Cardinals were like him. One can not put him in a category of "Liberal" or "Conservative" as he is neither one. He is with the Truth and very faithful to the magisterium of our Church. Some times he is misrepresented by taking what he said out of context. God bless you all and please go back and see for yourself what bishop Barron has said in the past. Having lived in Mexico, London and now Germany, I can say that here in Germany is where I found the most reverend Mass I have been to. There is one Sunday a month when it is done in Latin. Beautiful!
But it is the only place that I have seen a man steal the Holy Host after communion. Now the priests are very aware and making sure people eat the Holy Host while they are with the priest. We need to pray a lot more. Thank you for all you do. God bless you.

All the things that brought me to the Catholic Church...specifically the TLM & the catechism books...that finally convinced me of its truth...are being questioned or nuanced or overturned by Rome & even our NO. I'm finally receiving the grace to see it clearly, yet now the Church seems to be leaving me behind.
Joe the most important gift in the Catholic Church is to go to Mass at least once a week Sat night or Sunday.Receive the Blessed Eucharist without mortal sin .Keep the Ten Commandments .Does not matter what Rome does .Some people got into the clergy who should have never been excepted .Father Murray is a great priest .

Thank you Fr Murray for the simple and clear explanation of what this so highly critical Synod on Synodality is all about. Its the change of the participating people to have included the laity rather than the old tradition of Bishops only Synod as the main and utmost concern.Well! I believe that whatever attempts the devil tries that may come through the words and thoughts of the participants to try enter the Church and its well established Doctrines and Dogma; it cannot prevail. So as members of the body of Christ we have to be persevere in prayers that God help us to guard the gate of the Church.

I love Dr Scott Hahn and have always appreciated and learned very much from his scriptural insights. As for the current state of the novus ordo-- please refer to the Book of Revelation and the prophecy of Our Blessed Mother at LaSalette and Fatima.

Messages, apparitions, locutions, private revelations are approved by the Church in toto, not piecemeal. You've said, rightly, that the Church is indefectible. So was it in error when it approved LaSalette? No. Look at all aspects-- not like a protestant, picking and choosing, but the entire picture. There is nothing new under the sun.

This is the first that I am hearing about this synod. As heartbreaking as this is, it reflects the rise of the devil in all aspects of our life. During the child abuse revelations, I thought that the perfection of the Roman Catholic Church is dependent on the strengths and weaknesses of its clergy and laity. I still believe in the Church and that it will be guided toward righteousness by God the Father, through the power of Jesus Christ and the message of the Holy Ghost. I will hold the Church in my prayers. Thank you for raising my awareness. May God bless you all.

This is the ultimate test for all the true priests, bishops, cardinals invited. The true Catholics are listening, watching and waiting for the confirmed truth of the Word of Jesus. Not the pope, not lgbt, not the woke society. We want to listen to the Word of God and witness if our Priests are true followers of Christ. Please Lord Jesus, put a stop to all this modernism, tolerance and bring down of our church. Protect the Faith!
Great talk, but toward the end you mentioned about Catholic schools perishing and I think one of the reasons is cost. In the 60s and earlier tuitions were much less because nuns and brothers taught the students. Not many salaries to pay outright. It was a big sacrifice for us to send our kids to Catholic schools and still pay school taxes. I do not regret it but it was still difficult! Good Bless families who still do it!
Eucharist is the most beautiful and precious Treasure of the Catholic Church.
We have a Jesuit Pope and the Jesuits have been the "liberal" (too liberal)
voice of the Church. I was so happy to hear that the Diocese of Paris France
has around 30 priestly ordinations every year! There is still a steady number
of seminarians each year, and are firmly against breaking the traditions
of the Church!
God said many are called but few are chosen.We ask the Lord that He will give us more harvest and encourage the youth to go vocation on priest

I vividly recall meeting you for the first time, with my mom, in the early 2010s at a Haitian Catholic parish in Chelsea, Manhattan. 23rd Street, I recall. St. Vincent perhaps...?
My mom and I went to your parish to hear Mass in French, and the Haitian choir was wonderful!

To be quite honest, for many years I've wondered if the Divine Christ was really in the Eucharist and if so, why couldn't I feel His presence and why priests didn't become Saints after so many Eucharistic Communion. Then I remembered that the Bible mentionned the soul so many times that it got me thinking. And so once juste before communion, I've asked the Lord that my soul may feel His presence in the Communion and so, it actually happened. At first I've cried for not believing and then after cried of happiness because my soul recognized His presence. Amen!

My Sunday mass is the Latin mass .
Is it the SSPX mass or under the Catholic?
Our parish has begun to establish the synodality process. So far, the spirit is pointing not so much into the assembly of the body of Christ at mass but towards the "mission out into the community" following the mass gathering. Carrying the presence and message out into the world as we live out our daily lives is paramount to displaying and showing forth our faith.
Amen! That's the way our parish used the synod process. We spent 6 weeks in daily prayer using Scripture that addressed the questions we were given by the Synod. God worked wonders and led about 50 people to start new evangelization and prayer programs. God moves us ahead while politics leads to division!
And the message is what? That of Ralph Martin or of Jimmy Martin?
The message is the Gospel message! The Word of God! As we go forth into the community we bare the yoke of discipleship as followers of Jesus.

The Holy Trinity is a mystery revealed by Jesus through his teachings. 2 Cor 13:13, 1 Cor 12:4-6, Eph 4:4-6, and Fourth Lateran Council. See CCC 253, 254. (CCC is Catechism of the Catholic Church) peace!

Father Murray when he speaks he speaks with the power of the Holy Spirit I cant explain it but other than it makes me feel good inside and gives me peace and that is our Catholic Faith .I get the same feeling when I receive the Blessed Eucharist without mortal sin .This is what the Pope and some Cardinals and Bishops and Priests don’t understand .Once sin is allowed then it keeps going and it’s really bad for the sinner .Homosexuals can go to confession go to Mass receive the Blessed Eucharist and receive the Holy Spirit the same as anybody else .
Homo can go to Mass but should not receive Eucharist as they are under mortal sins. Leviticus 18:22 states "No man is to have sexual relations with another man. God hates that" .
For the glory of God almighty no one can change holy doctrine
